The front page is supposed to have something on it. I won't pretend to understand how PS marketing works.

There really isn't anything else I can say in here.
I'll still team with folks who want to team, but I'm done with the Rookery and I'm done standing up for it. -
Good point, we might be able to legitimize our position and standing by posting two to three threads a day of the same stuff.
Was that what you were asking? -
Guess I'll have to take that option next time, instead of the Ten Threads of Pity.

Norman has been killed and returned so many times in this series that his defeats have lost all meaning.

Quote:Even if it is a magical prison that exists separate from our reality, which is what it seems to be, it's still another dimension with extra-dimensional denizens. I mean, you can get there via Portal Corps.Actually some of the stuff you can find in the Midnighter's area implies that the Shadow Shard was created by them through a mystical artefact (Maria Jenkins confirms this in a roundabout way when she sends you against Black Swan) and that Rularuu itself is directly linked to the Dream Doctor, the founder of the club, and might even be the Dream Doctor himself. So Rularuu and his various aspects (and to a point their minions) could be said to be, not extradimensionals, but magical constructs from Primal Earth exiled to a pocket dimensional prison.

Just like in real life! And who'da thunkit, the Russians won the space race!

Quote:Well said. If they just look like regular swords, I'll pass. If they're ridiculously scaled, like the action figure that needs a separate standee for its sword, I'm in.I really like the weapon on that figurine, mostly for the scale of the thing. It's big, yeah - wider in the grip than she is at the shoulders, but what I really like about it is how the weapon itself is proportioned, specifically the very long hilt and the elongated, almost stretched-out design. Almost all of the weapons we have in City of Heroes are kind of short and fat, which means they describe very small arcs when they swing. I really, REALLY want to see long weapons like this one in-game.

For the longest time, it was the only time in-game when you could face off with WISDOM. Still no Spark Blade or Rose Star, but even so--Mirror Spirit's mirror teleport is cruelly awesome.
And because it's worth noting more than once: awesome maps. -
Still don't understand how these are fun.
There is a fine line that falls in different locations for different people, and that line divides "challenging" from "stupid waste of time." :/
EDIT:
-
They're earthlings from Earth. Just not this one. If we're going to quibble, we might as well identify them as extradimensional. Which, of course, a whole host of characters/organizations in the game qualify as. Including everything relating to an entire expansion.

It doesn't get said enough: Thanks, Ran.

Small creatures live in my house, and they require absolute silence. I haven't heard music or sounds in this game for years.
