Quote:Couldn't "It's not a big priority, and someone else's department" be anecdotally paraphrased to "Not our problem"? I don't think anyone is saying anything different from what you're saying. My interactions with previous rednames on this issue would certainly agree. Our response has never been "Not our problem, talk to Vbulletin" regarding it. Our response has been that it is a known issue, that it is larger known issue with VBulletin, and that a solution is being investigated, in order of priority, by our web development team in Seattle.
We have continued to pass along troubleshooting from our Community, and I check in on the status of the issue every single week. The issue isn't forgotten, however next to things such as relaunching the website for Freedom and resolving some outstanding validation bugs with account creation, it is lower in priority.
The "Not our problem" is anecdotally recollected comments paraphrased by others. -

Quote:This^^^.With all due respect to the devs, we are not VBulletin's customers, Paragon Studios is. They are the ones who need to complain to VBulletin about their poor software, and if they do not get a satisfactory response, then they should consider taking their custom elsewhere. All players can do is quit in frustration if the forum log-in can't be fixed.
I'm sick and tired of the "not my problem" attitude on this issue. -
Please stop protecting us from costume parts.

I was poking through some old screenshots and found a few of me teamed with Woot. Good times.

No, it's not. This immediately knocks someone off your list, back into active rotation. Sure, 80% of the time it's a cancelled spammer account. But I swear that one in five end up being a "legitimate" player griefer. Who I've just added back into my gaming experience. Meanwhile, the RMTrs have already switched to their n+1 account.

The Help Channel is like a direct feed to Atlas Park Broadcast that you can take with you wherever you want to go. Ugh.

Cutting and pasting to another forum, with credit. Thank you, Snow.

They've always been in help chat. You say this like it's something new.

So what you're saying...is that a lot of F2P players are willfully ignorant over the differences between VIP, Preem, and F2P. It's nice of you being "that guy" who goes around explaining to folks everything they've ignored up to this point, but you're not forced to do so.

This is giving me a headache. And, of course, being a Premium they can't ask on their own. So the answer is, "Indeterminate?"
Wasn't that the same answer I got the last time I asked a Market question about GR, Praetoria, and the Alignment system? This isn't really inciting people to play... :/ -
Quote:See, that's what I'm asking about. That also give a 30-day subscription, right? I'm afraid that after the 30 days, if they don't sub, they'll lose everything that any other non-"vested" Premium does not get.
So if they buy Going Rogue and stay Premium, they only get Praetoria and the Alignment System for 30 days? -
So in my quest to recruit new players, one asked me yesterday: "What happens if I just buy Going Rogue? It's $15 at [some random store]. Will that unlock Praetoria and the Alignment system for me, even though I'm still a Premium?"
Honestly, I didn't know how to answer. The discrepancies between what you buy and what you get just confuse me--and as a VIP I can't test this out.
Can anyone help me help my friends?
Thanks! -
I'm still using something like 10.2. Anything newer than that just broke the game, permanently. Would you/folks advise rolling all the way forward to 11.9? I'm kind of afraid to try it, because it took so long to get things fixed the last time...

I still get chat spam from time to time. Absolutely not. If anything, even VIPs should have to pay extra to use Broadcast, Request, and Local.

I need to clear my lunch schedule, I have some crow to eat. Thanks!
