Yep, I derped. Found it later on the forums. Probably will be a press release later. So, we need some eagle eye players constantly on the Paragon Store, too. Thanks!

What? Where is this information? I don't have anything in any of my digests or RSS feeds, and I thought the store on test was still down?

Quote:"...whenever the opportunity presents itself?" How about right now? You're aware of how many VIP accounts are screwed up, right? The Community Team always voices your concerns, especially in regards to systems that may present a level of confusion to our players. You can be certain that we have expressed concern over this situation.
The job of Community is a two way street. We express concerns, and we also are responsible for relaying information, whether it is ideal or not.
We have not posted a new update regarding this situation as we are still awaiting clarification regarding certain aspects.
I understand that you are frustrated. I also understand the sentiment regarding the scheduling of monthly stipends (This would be one of those things we've expressed concerns regarding). We will continue to express these concerns whenever the opportunity presents itself.
Thanks -
Quote:Like I've been saying since pre-beta? I'll take a screenshot of my GFX settings and I know that Arbiter Oates has a copy of my DirectX report handy.
I frequently can't see the following in Keyes:- Alpha/Beta entanglements. (Destiny Barrier, other Force Fields, and various other buffs obscure them).
- Disintegration. Unless I'm incredibly close, have only a few people in the league near the fight, or have my particle effects high enough to cause lag I frequently can't see the effects of disintegration. If I can see it, I frequently mistake it for the other, regular radiation powers that Anti-Matter uses.
- Obliteration beam. Frequently the barely noticeable Obliteration Beam is a fuzzy dim power that is obscured by the ground plane or hidden just above and behind my character if it targets a character off the ground.
I gotta say, I had no idea that the Obliteration beam had a graphic effect. I just thought it was a bunch of sudden damage. Can you see Battle Maiden's blue stuff? The TP patch in the UG trial? I can't see any of those either. -
JB said it better than I did. Words are failing me today. In any case, that's what the policy is.

Quote:That's where I'm *supposed* to be at. According to Customer Service, using a token awards a badge. If you stockpile the tokens, you don't get any badges. Can you clarify this? It didn't work this way for me, my tokens and badges were awarded independent of each other. When Freedom launched somewhere in September, I used all of my Paragon Reward points to break into T9 veteran rewards, then snag all of Celestial plus one of the "consumable" rewards, ending up with 0 points total. I checked a couple of days ago (that is, in October) and I had two extra points to spend, which I simply chose to not spend because the consumable Paragon Rewards are garbage. Right now, I have two points extra waiting for me, I assume one for September and one for October.
-
I got my points early, and I'm either one or two tokens behind--depending on which GM I talk to. These "late" rewards are supposed to be "addressed in an upcoming patch" or something...

Per the PM, and I'm paraphrasing, it's because the magazine has exclusive rights to be the distributor of that content. If we want to see the images, we're supposed to buy the magazine. There's no problem reproducing those images elsewhere, it just can't be done on the main boards.

Quote:I don't know what that Rularuu Stave of Epic Pounding is, but I love it.
Here's some of the titian weapon concept art from the PC gamer article.
Also, I've received PMs from rednames about not allowing these pictures on the boards. So, I guess I have to play the messenger again. Thanks for the awesome pictures, I personally appreciate them a great deal, they're also not allowed to be posted.

Quote:Hundreds of thousands of people have played this game, for more than seven years straight.I been getting this allot durren game play.
it will freeze and crash every day I play the game.
some times 15 minutes play time or more.
I built my own pc I have windows 7 ultimate.
motherboard asus quad core amd 3.20ghz
ram 12gb video card 1gb hard drives 2 x for now, 1.5tb each.
internet cable timewarner turbo.
have all drives and windows updated.
I been a pc tech for over 20 years now.
and so far this the only game that bothers me with the freezing and crashing.
I played age of conan which is a more high end graphics game and more things to it then city of heroes can come close too !
and that I have on max settings and performance wise too.
and it never freezes or crashes I can play that game for over 24 hrs tops or more straight and not even a bit of lag from it.
but this game freeze and crash every dang day i play it !
there is coding error in this game and it needs to be fix asap.
and I talked with other gamers who play this game too.
and they have the same stupid issue I do with it.
so its not our computers that has the errors or the cause for it to freeze up.
its in the games coding it self !
the programmers of this game should take it back to the drawing board and find the major error and recode the dang thing.
and I been in to programing my self for a few years and if I have to use my tools to find the error in the game my self and slap in the coders face I will.
cause this just plain stupid for them to skip this major error.
no wonder the game went free to play lol.
allot of the gamers left cause of this major issue !
who in their right minds want to play a game that's gonna constantly freeze up and crash without any error message.
this just annoying as hell.
since I am new to the game I let right for tops 1 month till they get off their butts and repair the problem.
if not I'll cancel my VIP access and my account for the entire game !!
cause there's always better games then this out there to play even for free full access.
But yeah, it's totally not you. -
The worst part was all the stuff I left OUT of it. IE, Cimerora's Fifth Column/Nictus connection, the Void Hunters, the Nictus takeover of Earth, etc.
-
Is that a requisite for the story? Reading individual biographies that happen to be a game mechanic. This is a terrible story decision, if in fact that is what you're saying it is.
And Sam isn't praising WWR for all the criticisms people are bringing forward. He's praising it because it is consistent and makes sense.
Unlike, say, the the Fifth Axis of Council Column Reichsmann Nictus Earth Peacebringers who were destroyed by the Battalion that is the Coming Storm, created the Rikti, and is evidenced by the Shivan advance scouts and Nemesis traveling back in time to fight them. Even though Nemesis brought on the Rikti War, while the Praetorian War may or may not be tied to the Well of the Furies seeking a champion to fight off the Battalion. -
Quote:You're aware that a lot of the CS tickets are being returned as, "Thanks but no thanks" right now, right? My favorite excuse as of late is, "No, it was never broken. That's the way it was supposed to work. It worked that way, correctly, until the most recent patch. Yes, that completely changed the way it worked--it continues to correctly work." "You're saying that the patch that fixed this, and indicates it as a fix, in no way means that it was ever broken?" "Correct. It was working as intended before, and now works as intended in a different capacity."All of the "move or die" FX powers should be tagged with a priority on them to make them draw first before any other FX, so those people with lower graphic settings will still see them even if a million other things are going on.
If you find this isn't the case, please report the bugs so we can remedy that.
I'm telling you: my computer has half-decent graphics for being really old, and it doesn't draw that stuff most of the time. Thank god I know where to stand during the Underground trial, because it doesn't draw the teleport field either. -
-
So anyone else picking up on the part where it doesn't matter who they kill, but that they need someone of power to die to accomplish their big task?
What if the ultimate goal of the whole arc is to kill...the player's character? And the Freedom Phalanx member who dies, does so to save your life. -
Still love your work, W. I want to also say that I really enjoy your unique artistic interpretation of things. I think you have a real attention to detail when it comes to action. Kind of reminds me of Kirby, but it's clear that your style is completely unique.
-
Quote:Bingo.some people with low graphics settings may not even see the green color patch on the ground
A lot of stuff doesn't draw for me. Similarly, I don't see the alpha/beta quantum entanglement, and I don't see the blue targets in the Apex TF. And if I don't see it... -
God I wish they had kept that account info up. It would have made things so much easier.

Cool. My computer will probably render that as a small blue lump, in front of a grey starfish that is wearing earrings.
Since Titan Weapons is testing, can we get some pics of that, too? -
