I want to say that a WWDIV guy popped up in Ouroboros a few weeks ago.
Beyond that, there are still some weird mystery contacts just hanging out in random spots in the game. -
Quote:LEMKIN! Yes, thank you.Kal-mant is the Circle mage, Lemkin is the guy from the Lost.
And yes, the Lost curing wand will cure Lemkin. I bugged it and am not sure if that's WAI, but yeah.
Ker-pow! Synapse powers don't help him one bit.
So does he turn into just some random lady waving her arms around? -
Quote:They'll be in the store eventually, but only the shoes. We'd hate to have that eye clip on anything. >_>It is indeed a costume power. The code you'll get at the Freedom Player Summit won't unlock individual costume pieces. Sorry all.
Quote:Hmmm. Just noticed that there isn't any information about any group rates or packages at the hotel? Is that an oversight or were you not able to work anything out?
From what I'm seeing on their site, these are the prices:
Garden room (one King or Queen bed) $119/night.
Deluxe room (one King bed larger room) $129/night.
Deluxe room 2 Beds (2 Queen beds) $129/night.
Executive Suite w/ Steam Shower $179/night.
Lanai Suite w/ Fireplace $199/night.
Theme Suites w/ Jacuzzi tub $199/night.
And I'll stop there before mentioning the $300/night and up Signature Suites.
In any case, I can't spare the time to go all the way out to the west coast for this. Have fun, folks. -
Quote:And now we know why. It's new, because it's about the Rulu-shin--the eyes that look to the beyond. Did anyone find anything with better hints to WWDIII, outside of Penn's "Manticore and Statesman" comments? The Cult of Eyes: You found some scrolls in a treasure chest within Oranbega. Most of them seemed fairly old, detailing ancient enemies of the Oranbegans. One, however, was new, as if it had been scribed a few days ago. It detailed a cult whose followers have 'eyes to look to the beyond' and that 'they are to be considered eternal enemies to the Oranbegans'. There isn't much information regarding the cult, and unfortunately it doesn't seem like this cult had much to do with the current happenings.

I want to know if the Lost Curing Wand will explode-a-matize Kal-mant or whatever his name is. The lost that's high on Synapse.

Quote:One of us!So, a little over a month has passed since I first donned a mask and cape and set out on to the streets of Paragon City to fight the forces of Evil(and wrote my original review of CoH:F.
In my month here I have made reasonable progress (main character is 45, 13 others ranging from 30 to 12, can't wait to see what the fuss is about over incarnate skills at 50)
I am well and truly in love with Paragon City, the storylines are immersive and absorbing, the missions never seem dull when you have a good team, the virtually infinite costume customisation combinations (alliteration FTW) and the costume creator itself are absolutely amazing.
CoH is graphically stunning, too (I play on fully maxed ultra mode) and I still wonder just how much time went in to those cape physics.
Another thing I adore about CoH is the villains, because they are people you can truly hate. The Circle of Thorns with their evil sacrificial rituals, the Vazhilok with their experiments on the dead, I hate them all so much I always feel pleased whenever I beat them down.
Almost important as the game itself are the people running it, and I have to say after having a GM come in to the game and talk me through issues on several occasions, seeing the brilliant level of community interaction and enjoying the events run by the GM's has made me a devout NC Soft fanboy.
The community itself (except for a select few on the forums >.> ) is brilliant, friendly, helpful and one of the best MMO communities I have ever had the pleasure to be a part of.
All in all, I regret not a single moment of my time spent here and I am proud to be a hero of Paragon City
Thought I'd make this one short and sweet rather than longer like my original.
One of us!
One of us!
Cheers, mate! -
I'm betting good money that that is a typo, and that it's a costume power, not a costume set.

One new trial, and new abilities within the existing five incarnate tracks. Interesting. Looking forward to hearing more about this.

Got an e-mail from CS--my billing date changed a bunch because I referred a bunch of people to the game. Trying to determine if I gained or lost reward time because of that...

Quote:I have an ATI card. And it stinks. And I wouldn't be able to play if it weren't for all the great players in the Tech forum, and the assistance they've provided me over the years. I'm not disparaging the difficulties that the OP is having with the game--I'm disparaging the part where he's refusing to work with people to solve his problem. He won't even acknowledge that he's the one with the problem.im gonna help you out here..in the recent issue updates this game has been not very helpful when it comes to ati cards.myself included have had to suffer through a game has changed ALOT in the last 7 years.since i came here in dec of 2004 i can tell you that i have not had any issue with crashing or freezing since this year.
it does have to do with the game and its combatibility with ati cards. so infact it is an issue.
do you know i was unable to run the last 4 updates with ati to this game dumple?...no i bet you didnt.so while your not helpful at all. i can tell you that it is infact the game that is the problem.but its also ati as well.
please read up next time before making your statements. as a paying customer he also has a right to complain about the product he pays for.so your comments arent very smart and not helpful at all for new players.way to shine pal! -
At this point, it's safer not to ask how or why they do things the way they do.

Quote:Not according to all these e-mails from CS. Though it's obvious that I believe you over them. You have probably earned all the Reward Token badges, as you can only get 34 Reward Token badges.
You get the badge by earning the token, not spending it.
http://wiki.cohtitan.com/wiki/Paragon_Rewards_Badges
Let me ask a different question. The implication is that if I bought enough for 30 more reward tokens, and then spent them, that I'd receive 30 more badges. Are there 64 reward token badges?
NCSoft has asked me to verify my account information, including my credit card and billing address, to try and determine what I'm talking about. I'm very much ready to just throw up my hands and walk away. -

Quote:Agreed. That was my favorite part. These movies are so well done.Heh. I noticed it's a Roxxon gas station. Nice touch.

I can't find the thread, but yeah--several of us noticed that when I21 went live. I don't think it's any real effort to "combat flipping" or balance the market in any way--I think it's an unintended consequence of changes to the random number generator for things like the Windfall power and possibly custom individualizing the rolls for, say, F2P vs. VIP players.

One of my favorite things is following you, and some other Virtue artists, and seeing how you improve each time. I definitely need to commission you.

Dare I even ask which of these Halloween parts are gender-gated?
