  1. Hey everybody. I’m very excited about the up-and-coming Veteran’s rewards—but had heard some odd things while perusing the boards. You know—folks who weren’t getting credit for timecards and such. So I thought I’d hit my account and see if mine was up to snuff.

Account created: April 12, 2004. Woo for me!
    Paid time? 25 months.

Yep, they only count the times you PAY them. Not the free month you get with CoH, not the free month you get with CoV, and not the free month you get with the Hero Gear Kit. I should have 28 months.

    Hi XXXXXX,

    Thank you for your reply.

After reviewing your billing information, your account is showing the correct amount of billed time. The included time that comes with the games do not count towards the billed time. So while you may have 28 months that you have been playing the game, you have only been billed 25 times.

Please let us know if you have any further questions.

    So my question is:
Do you think the Devs will take this into account somehow? By being a faithful game player, purchasing extra (somewhat useless) fluff, and diving on the expanshalone—I’m getting punished. If the rewards are based on time paid, I’ll get my Veterans rewards two months after other folks. Or, say, three months behind someone who picked up a 14-day trial.

Am I just overreacting? Or should this be bothering more people?

Not trying to cause a ruckus, I remain—

  2. Heh. Is it bad that I was interpreting the "Brief Shadow Cyst Guide" to mean:

    A. Encounter Shadow Cyst
    B. Team Wipe

  3. ((Jeepers, Morv. Well done.))
  4. ((Curses. Grant you, I wouldn't have interrupted for all the world--but how is it that all the times I hang out in Gemini I'm all by myself? Anyhow, wonderful stuff, both of you!))
  5. I'm interested in seeing what everyone can come up with!

  6. I want to see some submissions of the Ghost Ship breakdancing again.

  7. I'm glad to see that our testing community has commented on the chain mezzing/hold/etc. occurring in the mayhem missions. I, for the fun of it, ran one the other day with a friend. In addition to being chain held for almost the duration of the mission timer, we spawned a great deal of bosses--despite numbering only two and both set at villainous. We easily failed it... Keep up the good work, y'all.

  8. Yes, but don't the other PvP zones have level limits, too? So you wouldn't necessarily have to worry about a level one wandering in...just extra goofy traffic in a zone that's already in poor shape.

  9. Heya--I've never played an MMO before. Ever.

    And I'm hooked, for life.

Thanks for two+ years of good memories, and here's to many more.

  10. Outstanding! Any word on how many patches down the pipe we've got to wait on?

  11. Take the gates from Atlas Park or Skyway City.

  12. Yeah, I've never seen Blue Ink Men outside of Siren's Call. If I recall correctly, they're usually accompanied by an assassin's strike and a /tell stating "lol rp is [censored] n00b!11"

    Toga toga toga!

Goodbye holiday ski-oufit, hello cupid heart-breaker!
    Oooh...

You know...someone needs to make a SG with a bunch of archery set folks in red, white, and pink togas and call them the Cupids or something.
  14. Thank goodness. If I see another bunch of heroes fighting to help Lord Recluse, I'm hanging up my cape.
  15. Nice work. I also enjoyed the "click here if you dare" portion, for those who are unconcerned about spoilers. Spiffily done.
  16. It does that all the time. *And* it constantly uses words like "fo shizzle" with me.
  17. It did that to me too, once. After saying a lot of nonsense words and phrases...like "fo shizzle." Your robot is insane, Kelp.
  18. Thanks for all the hard work. Good luck and congratulations on your new job. Come back and visit us as often as you can!
