  1. Awesome, awesome guide. This needs to be stickied, so we can all point at it whenever those people come in here.
  2. I don't get to play as much as I used to, but by the time my VEAT made 50 I had eight rolls worth on the Pool C table. Aaaaaand: all crap. And I used the price index, too. Well, one was selling for 1.5 million. *sigh* Stupid merits. Stupid RNG. I wonder how long I'll have to hold on to these before people realize that a bunch of Stupefy's and Malaise's Illusions are valuable?
  3. Ouch--not the outcome I was expecting. Hrm--if you were to do it all over again, what would you change? Did you discover anything you weren't expecting?

    Alias, Smith

    (Wow. Nice read, W. )
  5. Ooh. That mission is sort of an 'intentional failure.' I completely forgot about that one.
  6. Nice scoop! And those letters to Arby Fab?
  7. Good to know, and looking forward to it, SG.
  8. QR: With all due respect--carrot and stick, sir. You changed your mind, which is fine...but you made an arbitrary split in what qualifies as "real" crafting and what qualifies as "fake" crafting. If you really wanted to be fair, use of anything without a recipe would not count for crafting (by what I am interpreting as your logic). And that would also be really really awful.

    Reformed Badge

QR: Everyone has pretty much said what needed to be said, but I felt like I had to include my own, brief, thoughts.

Firstly, thanks for the explanation. It wasn't so much the decision that bothered me, it was being deliberately ignored. I say "deliberate" because a few of the threads were modded--so red names knew what was going on.

    Finally:

I use quotes around that because earning the badge involves farming the mission over and over to get the requisite 1000 defeats needed for it.

Are you saying that the RWZ arcs aren't worth doing more than once? Or aren't worth teaming with people for? It isn't necessary to farm anything for this badge. One or two times through this arc with a big enough team will get you there in no time at all.
  10. Unless it's giving something away, I would love to see a screencap of this.
  11. So what are you feelings as you close out your first run? I mean, of the whole pacted shebang? I'm curious as to your thoughts on the entire experiment (so I suppose you could wait to say), as well as your individual issues: maps, level choke points, strategies, etc.

Loved this edition of arbiter fabulous xD

    Fab is the bomb.
  13. I have to agree completely with Snow_Globe--at least be consistent in your beatings.

Oh, just in case... I tested this:

Crafting enhancements still counts for the crafting badges.

    [/ QUOTE ]

    Hooray.
  15. QR: Frankly, I'm surprised and grateful that they said anything at all. We've debated this to death in both the Badges forum as well as the Training Room forum, and now Ex has weighed in on the situation.

At this point, further debate should be laid to rest and this thread should be left to discussion of the rest of the patch.

How many old timers are there still around to be able to get the 60 months Vet Reward during this year anyway? I'm due for late June.

    [/ QUOTE ]

Yo. I get 57 in ten days, and 60 on May 1.

Let them thank their most loyal customers in a big way for sticking it out this long.

    [/ QUOTE ]

It's all subjective, I know--but if the Dev's want to thank me for playing for five years, I have a few ideas beyond "Fly at level 6."
  18. And amazingly enough, there are 12 months in a year!

  19. I was moderately interested at first, and remain cautiously optimistic, I guess...but the more whining and moaning in here, the more I'm convinced these are awesome and I'm missing something.
  20. I am...intrigued.

Also, what's with the 5 merit booby prize?
