Heh, just saw this pop up on the wiki as I was researching the pop density of NYC on the other wiki.

This is pop based on urban area. If we based it on something different, like density, then NYC is #169 on the list.

NYC is at #3 for 21 million people. I don't think it's much of as stretch to say that Paragon ranks as more or less the same in the CoX-verse. The Etoile Isles always strike me as sort of a Hong Kong analog of sorts--epicly tech-advanced island and all. Hong Kong is actually only #42 on the same list with an urban pop of more than 7 million.

Eh, I know this is for Manti to answer, but that's how I always looked at them.

Query: If he plays all the time, and you play (it would seem) every month and a half or so...

Except the ban-script, and other things, have been handled sloppily, and certain players and characters who never touched the MA or AE got banned. Even a brusque, "Oh? Well, take it up with support." would be more than the mod/ban-brushoff I keep seeing. There is no dialog, just modding, banning, and deleting.

Ditto. I went to link it, saw Reiraku's post, quoted it, and got modded, also. In any case, the ED link is right--JRanger pretty much only /JRangered the most egregiously stupid and poorly thought out ideas with very few exceptions. I can recall plenty of posts where he would say something like, "Not in a... Actually, that's a good idea. Nice work." Still, in light of the overwhelming amount of egregiously stupid and poorly thought out ideas in S&I, most people just remember him for the classic:

I would have to say that after reading the OP's responses in this thread, he needs shivans because his bad attitude makes him a poor teammate, and inability to follow simple instructions makes soloing difficult for him. At least shivans won't get disgusted with him and quit his team.

The best method for me has been sort of "Craft-as-you-go." My first time, it was on my 50 and I had to buy pretty much EVERYTHING. But if you start with a new/low level character you can earn your crafting badges and make influence as you go along, with the drops you score on the way. Significantly cheaper and easier in my opinion.
