I have been playing since April of '04, and none of my characters have that badge. And certainly not my VEAT, who I'd like to earn it on for obvious reasons.

This thread deserves to be bronzed and put on a pedestal. That way, future generations of heroes and villains can look back on BaBs' epic struggle to bring customization to CoX and have a moment of silence honoring all the code that was written.

I would presume the mechanics of FoW remain unchanged. Ergo, in a mission (unless a hidden trial map) it reveals for everyone. Outside, it reveals for only the user. -

Code "leaks" are nothing new. I'd say they jumped the gun with all the "COMING SOON!" I was lead to believe, perhaps erroneously, that this project was almost very nearly and completely finished. Call it my dubious fantasy, but I'm imagining a Dodge Viper with three wheels on it. And I could at least pretend to do 75 in that.

You should check out srmalloy's neighboring thread--both of those pictures would appear to be of "bright tints." Notice how the scale goes completely to white at the right? There would, theoretically, be a corresponding list of colors for "dark tints" with blacks and near-blacks at the left.
