Glad to see you're on top of this, Obsidious. I would expect no less of you.

Quote:So have I Dumple. Just ignore them. Some people are just idiots that will neg for any small thing they might disapprove of.
I've already gotten over a DOZEN negs since the new forums complaining the same thing: "signature is bigger than post"... like that's some sort of crime or something. -
I noted this in another thread, but I am getting negative rep for having too big a signature. I thought I already had the smaller one?

I am getting negative rep for having too big a signature. Are we sure that the new sig sizes are okay with the dev's?

Quote:I'm such a slouch I don't even know what "ToD" is. But what I generally do is treat the Last Five as "The Last Five Prices Five Suckers Paid." I sell above-ish those, and buy below-ish those. If you bid below all those numbers, I'd sit and wait. You don't get punished for bid creeping, only overspending.I put some bids in for my first IO set last night and it seemed much higher than what I expected. I had to bid under the lowest posted price (this is just for recipes) for just about every piece. I added up the lowest prices for each piece and that came to 38 million. I have read a number of posts that claim this set can be bought for 10 mil. I know prices fluctuate so I'm guessing that's the issue. My total bids came to just under 20 mil. Is that too much?

The asset load still crashes me out about 5% of the time. Annoying, but not the 95% it used to be. Presumably that is "permanent" regardless of the character login, considering how you can visit the market on character A, login with character B, and look at all of character A's stuff.

I had been aware of these, but thought that the 10% clickie thing was also dependent on the 10% mob bit. What happens if a map only has one clickie on it?

I heard it was one of those kinds of internet, like a nintendo.

Man, I should've read the rest of the thread. Why don't you come over to my house and tell me what I should like, and shouldn't. Art is art. If you don't like it, tough--"eye of the beholder" and all that. Just because you don't like it doesn't authorize a book burning.

Quote:[tongue-in-cheek]Why how can you even say that, BaBs? It's not like you put any effort into this game.[/tongue-in-cheek]I don't know how to respond to this post other than to disagree as vehemently as one can disagree with another human being.
Wow, what a jerk post, BaBs is right. Video games are art. -
Quote:If you mean "never," that's not what I said. A bid is incapable of exceeding 2 billion from within the market. If someone on Champion is selling something outside of the CH, I cannot bid on it from Virtue. If you have no interest in IOs, I think you are missing out on a lot of fun, but suit yourself. What, you mean bidding on IOs has ever been possible?
There is a reason I tend to only think about IOs at lvl 50, and why I quickly lose interest in that, too.
Also, Charnage, with all due respect I think this game has too many different kinds of currency already. -
Anyone who has played this game long enough knows how to safely walk to pretty much any zone without trips to the hospital. My usual deal with new characters is making a few hundred thousand or million inf. in Atlas, grabbing the Halloween salvage, making the lowbie-walk to Croatoa, making the lowbie-walk to Steel, fiddling with two costumes, and making the lowbie-walk back to Atlas to finish my missions.
Though I guess the Vanguard door is pretty convenient. I never thought about it. -
The inf. cap is 2 billion. Besides the fact that I would just like to stop using the CH to store inf., I have seen a surprising number of PvP recipes sell at the cap in single sales. It makes me wonder how many are circumventing the market so as to exceed the cap. I have no problem with that, bar the part where the rest of us don't get to bid on them.

Inspiration trading has already been green-lighted.
I support market integration for the redistribution of wealth from heroes to villains, as well as the glut of supply blue-side to red-side.
I also support raising the inf. cap. -

I think the indication is that, bar contenders from the last round (IE Stheno, Imperious, the Sisters) there are only States, Recluse, and imperfect Incarnations. Which begs the question of how the Incarnate Epic was going to be handled before it was dropped.
"Hey guys, remember me? From the well?" -
Duh, I should've just looked at my tech specs sheet again. It says all eight of them are USB 2.0. So, looks like I'm going with my original plan of a WD 1-2TB USB drive. I learned an awful lot in here, thanks very, very much.
EDIT: WTF? The 2 TB drive I was looking at is gone, now. D: -
Thanks, all of you, for all this help. Last question--I thought all USB porst were born equal? Am I to interpret from the previous post(s) that I may have a mix of 1.0 and 2.0s?
Thanks!
