I'm totally not laughing at you like the Emperor right there. >_>

There will be plenty of other content tied to the GR purchase as well. If one incentive doesn't do it, perhaps the others will.

Quote:D'oh, and agreed, on both counts. Some feedback on the new mision, as there doesn't seem to be a thread for today's patch
I think Hero 1's guardian spirit should have the effects used on the Shadow Shard Reflections, to make him look more spirit-ish.
Also, the City Rep says that the memorial is just down the hall from her - but I got a mission door at an office building in the Promenade district instead.
The patch notes don't reflect this, but Chroma mentioned:
Quote:It looks like the Aura mission might have been updated as well (it gave me a chance to run it again too after I had already completed it), but I don't have time to check it out this morning. -

Awesome. Requoted in my questions thread from earlier. Thanks!

OMG:
Quote:This appears to be related to this thread... with this morning's patch, I noticed that the mission to earn a cape (hero side from the City Rep) has changed. I ran it last night and was in the middle of the Aura mission when I logged out. This morning, after completing the Aura mission, I noticed that it again gave me the option to run the Cape mission so I went ahead and re-ran it.
The new cape mission adds an actual Memorial map that you visit where you get to talk to some magical spirit version of Hero 1, after which you have to run another mission to retrieve a letter that was stolen from the Time Capsule. Kind of a nice update to a mission that I have run dozens and dozens of times over the last 5 years.
It looks like the Aura mission might have been updated as well (it gave me a chance to run it again too after I had already completed it), but I don't have time to check it out this morning.
OMG:
Glad to see that model in game, now. -
Quote:So I'm at work. Someone tell me about this.
Tasks
- Atlas Park: The ‘Cape Mission’ given by the City Representative has been updated. The mission is also available through Flashback as the ‘Omega Team Time Capsule’ story arc.

Quote:GG, sweets, you and I both know that it can be done. We've just been told repeatedly that it won't be done. Until that day, though, I'll still be asking for long flowing hair for the boys.Which is possible with the wedidng pack - the moving veil can be used on an avatar that already has a cape
-
Heh, glad to see some positive posts. I was beginning to think you only had negative things to say! It's too bad people have already -negged you. We'll see what we can do about that.
Edit: Hey, red to green--I'm good for at least something these days. :3 -
If you were on Virtue, I'd help. In fact, my level 50 could really use some good bait.

And the lieutenants get to summon pets. Which means a single group of baddies can have several Cairns summoned. Suddenly you realize that you're doing practically nil damage...to everything.
-
Crey Protector Bosses. No, not Paragon Protectors--just the Crey Protectors. They do little to no damage at all, having only a cheap Hold, Brawl, and Boxing, but ridiculous resists with Self Resistance and Dispersion Bubble.
So in the end you just stand there, whiffing for ten minutes, against a mob that is nearly immune to all status effects, takes little to no damage, and can't do anything against you. Normally, I just walk past these guys, but if it's a Defeat All? .... .... -
Quote:You didn't actually look at what you were buying before you bought it? Frankly, the Magic Booster is my favorite one so far. The costume stuff is tremendous.Just bought the Magic Booster Pack because it says you get a couple "magic" costumes...you get a idiotic Witch costume...nothing sorcerous or cool.
Horrendous waste of $10.
And most people only look cool standing still so long clothes would still look good when your standing around where others could actually "see" your outfit. So clipping isnt an issue id be worried about standing around. -
Quote:But I bet the skirt is a fixed entity. He probably looks like it is super-glued to his legs when he does his thing.I always hear this, but if you hang around Tsoo long enough, there are skirted dudes that do Martial Arts.
I'd believe more that they clip with emotes or doing running or flying or something, because they definitely don't have issues doing flying kicks.
EDIT: Check it: http://wiki.cohtitan.com/wiki/Tsoo#Lost_Son He does all three of the most extravagent MA kicks in a skirt. -
Moving stuff is a clipping nightmare, as well as a resource drain. (Their words, not mine--see "two capes" or "moving hair.") I would love to see more realistic clothing options, but we are kind of constrained to fixed items that won't clip.

What are you talking about? Origin means, now, more than it ever did: very little. Previously it meant: enhancements, and nothing else. Origin has never provided stat or character bonuses ever. Not in Live, and not in Beta.

What Sailboat said. I'm constantly interrupted at the Market by team-invite-tells. "Join my team!" "Care to SF?" "Want to do a Trial with us?" I only just turned off all the /hide options last week, and I feel like turning them all back on again!

Sooooooo....what is with your forum handle, OP?

Two thousand is way easier to score than 10,000. I'd go with crafting and selling standard IOs to profit. If you have about 20 market slots, and you can move all of them within an hour, it should take only a few days of casual play (to finish off the 300 remaining). IE: Login, marketeer, do mission(s), marketeer, logoff.
