  5. They're only selling for 300K apiece? Sounds lower than usual.
  6. I miss the unique forum titles, but as has been said--I already know who all the good people in these here parts are.

  8. The only problem I have with VU are the handful of folks who treat it like their own personal social stage. I have no problem interrupting them to advertise teams, availability, or asking pertinent game-related questions.
  9. No, it's still there, though Mos Vox is still trying.

  13. Well, they completely and totally didn't understand my simple request of "May I post what you just said," so I'm going to post it anyways.

    Hello,

In order to correct the issue you faced with your rewards, it was necessary to also reset your past rewards so that everything came through. This is the reason that a lot of your reward dates appear to be off.

We are aware of the display issues caused by this issue and the Development Team is currently working on a more permanent resolution for this issue. Once a fix has been completed and tested, it will be made available in a future patch to the live servers.

Please keep posted to the City of Heroes/City of Villains message boards and website at http://www.cityofheroes.com or http://www.cityofvillains.com for any updates to when a fix will be implemented.

    Regards,
    GM ------
So, we should camp the main boards for info about the upcoming patch and fix? O RLY?
  14. I have asked permission from the GM that handled my ticket to post their response. No word yet, but the gist is basically that they are working to implement a new behind-the-scenes Vet Reward system that won't get corrupted like this anymore. I'll post the response here if I get the word.
  15. You can, of course, reslot any you want. Optionally, you have your tray which always holds ten. Any you don't want slotted or saved, you will receive a refund of the crafting cost.
  16. *sigh* This doesn't quite look "fixed" to me:

  17. CaptHitGuy--look at that neighboring thread. You can pick whether you want Ultra Mode or content first. Not much qualification of what the content is, but how's that vs. the old neighborhood?

Actually...I don't remember that at all. Are we playing the same game?

    Done Badging...

I notice your character is a Tanker. Did you heal farm all the healing badges in the arena, or earn them during play? How did the recent recalculation of the epic heal badges affect this? I'm curious.
  21. All the prestige sprints are the same, just with different animations. If you actually use sprint all the time, consider it an early form of power customization.

Yes, once you pick between SoM or the GSA, it is permanent. I usually go with SoM because you can attack multiple targets with it and it has a great debuff. For my non-combat-oriented or non-melee characters, it still has use later in the game.

The axe is nice, but you don't often face true undead in the early game. By the time you do, you'll probably have a decent attack chain that doesn't often have room for the axe. When I get it, I save it for BP or CoT spectrals. IMO, go for the Sands.
  22. No firewall, and still crawling DL? That is...weird. As with any game like this, you're going to need to let it patch you up to the current version--but you've exhausted all my ideas re: the blockage.

Not to sound like an idiot...but you're sure it's off?

Yeah, I worded my part poorly. Whether you buy the expansion pack or not, you'll get Ultra Mode. I meant to indicate that Ultra Mode might be considered Live concurrent with GR, but that doesn't mean it is paid content. Again, worded poorly.

Techbot Alpha is similarly correct in that the dev's have a lot on their plates right now, including I17 and probably some footwork for I18. Both of which will still be wonderfully, gloriously...free.

(Although since they'll probably apply especially to GR, keep that in mind.)
