Will do. That is indeed sad news.

The FAQ is canned, and may in fact be pre-canned. The Rep display used to work, until it was deliberately disabled because of wide-scale griefing.

Quote:Much like in real life, if you go to a bar--you find people who hang out in bars. If you want to find intellectuals, go hang out at a coffee shop, library, or university. They're there.Seconded, both points.
Sadly, the problem is to *find* the like-minded people, unless you happen to know someone outside the game who belongs to one of these groups. People who like RP deeper than clubbing just don't hang around in Pocket D.
Quote:This as well. My SG runs awesome story arcs that takes weeks to play out and resolve. We have a great core group of players that have vivid imaginations. An absolute pleasure to be with and be a part of.
Another plus is--once you're "in," you're in for good. Characters may die/retire, people may quit the game--but like-minded hardcore RP people who run mature and thought-provoking stories with quality ideas run in groups, and there's always room for more. -
All of mine have. You just have to hang out with the right people.

Does this Bravais Lattice make my butte look big?

Quote:Collector's Edition price: $40Well at least I know the price now. I been a loyal follower of this franchise since the start. Price isnt the real issue for me. I just don't want to continue playing a game where finding people to play in the hours I do is difficult to do. If I wanted to solo all the time. I would fire up my PS2 or Unreal Tournament PC games instead. maybe I will buy one expansion for one of my accounts or both. Depends who I feel at that moment. I'm getting a good sized tax return this year. So I shouldn't be hurting for cash anytime soon thats for sure.
-Costume Booster price: $10
-Free month of play: $15*
I can afford $15.
*(As stated on various websites. Even if they're wrong...$30 is nothing. That's a night at the movies.) -
I just figured that this would mean very little to him, if he didn't understand the concept.

Yeah, we don't run things here like other MMO boards.

You know what the traditional definition for reputation is, right?

First of all, don't openly flaunt breaking the EULA. Your post may come under the mod-stick for even discussing things like that.
Secondly, the expansion isn't being forced on you. You don't have to buy it, it won't hurt your gameplay, and you'll continue getting all the quality free content you are used to.
Thirdly, thus far the game has been advertised as having a free month included. So imagine the basic version as being $15. The CE is $10 more, and includes (more or less) a costume back which incidentally, normally retails for about $10. So you'll have to decide if the expansion is worth $15 for you.
Finally, I still play most of my characters hidden because of all the blind and reverse invites I get. Teaming, TF, SF, Trial spam is everywhere. New SGs forming, etc. I can't speak to whether the player base is growing or shrinking--but I have enough trouble hiding from teams. I never have to look for them. -
I enjoy my main character's story. It wouldn't even be very hard to implement, because it's mostly just in his head.

Zombie, it was a valiant effort, but sometimes your encyclical missiles of logic just aren't powerful enough to penetrate a "good" conspiracy theory.

Fleeting has 30,000 constructive posts.
You have five...posts. I can wait though, it's cool. -
According to this, it comes with a free month. So, imagine both versions $15 cheaper. Does $15 for GR sound good?

Hot dog, I just blew past that article since it didn't seem to have anything new in it. Sure, things can change...but nice find, Kheldarn!

Quote:Ultra Mode will not change the current requirements you are playing under, it'll just add higher up ones for folks with fancier computers.I would like to pre order going rogue but Im not going to till i know what specs i need for it, Cause I cant afford any PC upgrades right now we trying to build a addition onto my grandmothers trailer so my brother and I have a place to sleep besides living room :s
Right now I just meat the recommended requirements for CoH and CoV, I doubt I can play in ultra mode but hey if i can play it in the mode im in now, that will be nice!
