Two Slither references in one day?
Also: bought. -
Yes, if you read the entire MotD you'll learn that this isn't happening until GR goes live in August.
-
-
Remember humans, anything goes so long as the cutlery-space-demon-rabbit and infernal-angel-wombatdozer aren't the same gender.
-
Just a reminder people: if you push "BUY" 159,523 times, you'll probably buy 159,522 codes that do nothing. If you have an itchy trigger finger, sit on it until the urge passes. You'll be helping yourself out.
If you are offended that you bought 159,522 copies that you now need reimbursed for, be polite when you ask for 159,522 refunds from NCSoft. It will make things easier when they credit your account 159,522 times in the next few weeks. If that takes too long for your personal preference, remember--you were the one playing whack-a-mole with the "BUY" button. Those 159,522 pokes didn't take long for you to do, but reversing the process will likely be time-consuming.
Lastly, if pressing the "BUY" button 159,522 times too many--or even one time too many--causes your bank account to overdraw, NCSoft is unlikely to credit you the inevitable and large overdraft fee your bank will charge. When you're paying the bank the difference, and the fee, remember that you were the one who put costume bits ahead of line in front of rent, food, clothing, and other basic human necessities.
But hey, new costumes! -
No, I take that back. I played outside with my daughter. Definitely won.
-
It all has to do with perspective. Somehow, even though I failed to win anything, I don't feel like I lost anything.

Don't force it, this is your only tide-over for the next two months. You have to make it last.

Quote:That's because it's not for us. They can advertise it as if it was, but by and large it's not. It's for potential new players. So it's better to advertise and discuss all the things that will be selling points in GR, and not the little things that matter most to long-time players like us.I have to agree with some of the above posters, here comes another Q&A where nothing new gets answered and they rehash all their old announcements in case we missed them the first time.
IE: We may know all about side-switching, but expect them to talk about it anyways--it's a major feature of GR.
Here's hoping for a few crumbs of stuff we'd actually find interesting. -
Quote:Well, you've got me there. That's only "IF" you are in Closed Beta and agreed to the NDA. I've only been in two CBs and both times I have asked to be removed. It's no fun when you have to agree to not talk about closed Beta. Not being invited I can discuss it to my hearts content.

Quote:Because it's a colossal pain in the ***. Paragon Studios would have to pay a fee and register a permit to operate a contest in the state of Rhode Island for every single promotion they run. This is why they are better off giving things away, like costume codes and booster packs, rather than having them as contest items. It's a huge step forward from "United States (except Rhode Island and some others) and Canada (except Quebec) only", which was their modus operandi for years.
Incidentally, why the heck is Rhode Island excepted? Poking around the interwebs doesn't tell me why Rhodesians can't play, but maybe I'm just using the wrong search terms. -

Well, seeing as the first rule of closed betas is usually, "Don't talk about Closed Beta," and the second rule is often, "Don't talk about Closed Beta," I have a wild guess why.
Fleeting, don't let your facts muddy this discussion up. -

Quote:Oh? Oh. OH! I forgot! Yeah, way to take us down a couple notches you Robin Hood types--you really showed us!No, no you've got it backwards. The prices went down because everyone refused to pay the prices we were asking. It was all of the non-marketeers who held a closed-door meeting.
-
I live in Pennsylvania, Erie specifically. But it was felt farther south than us, too. And let me tell you, no, sir, I didn't like it!
-
Anyone else get shaken and stirred this afternoon? My first earthquake. Wow.
-
I didn't mean to sound petty at your 100M, I'm just surprised no one else in here wanted to help out a fellow marketer and potential new ebil-doer. I'll take care of your transaction tonight.
Then one day, when we're old, we'll look at those noobs in Atlas, Mercy, GR, and the Moon Starter Zone and say, "When I was YOUR level, we had to..." -
^^^They don't need to seed anything. If they want, they can adjust the drop rate. That changes the supply/demand ratio and prices will adjust accordingly. Unless, that is, you're one of the tinfoil hat brigade that thinks that the Market Forum held a closed-doors event and voted to stop gouging on costume recipes out of the... *snicker* ...goodness of our hearts.

Quote:I'm sorry, upon review of this thread and others, you've exceed your QQuota for the day. Please rely on ;_; T_T or others until at least 24 hours has passed.Give-aways, such failures.
Don't you see this is a plot? They're trying to hype everyone up about it, then someone is going to open a new thread Q_Q'ing about how they wasted their money on it or getting it for free. They'll Q_Q about anything. -
