Feels good to finally have a character be exactly who they always were all along. Confusing, but good.

How'd you get to 50 without knowing what you like in your build?

I can see at least three, possibly four, if you include this one. -
It might be worth it to some of the game's perma-clubbers that frequent the D and 55...but not me.

Well, we can hope something really good is in the works...

Wh?
DANCE EMOTES?
God no.
EDIT: Just watched the video. No, just NO. NO NO NO. -
You're doing Vigilante missions, and don't want to be a Vigilante? Firstly, don't do them. I mean, if you're speaking from an RP perspective. Pay attention.
Otherwise, secondly, if you somehow manage to go all the way THROUGH and COMPLETE a morality mission...don't switch sides. There is big red text that warns you. Mechanically speaking, you can't switch sides unless you actually say, "Yes, I want to be a Vigilante." -

I will second the vote on Maelstrom's bat-guano-happy gaze, "My shiny metal pants are full of Kraft Macaroni and scorpions!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

The current incarnation of the forums does not allow for free name changing. Your best bet is to contact Ocho or Avatea.

Quote:Currently, there is no way to change your difficulty in Praetoria.Hey, i am from europe so maybe i don't use the correct words.
I bought the pack of the game @ steam, i got city of heroes and villains and the new one "going rogue", so i play at this new island, "prätoria" called in europe, the island where u can choose if you are bad or good.
But i do not find a "fieldanalyst", the guy where u can change against how much enemies you fight and if you fight against super heroes/villains.
Is there somebody on that island? if yes where? -
Stayed as long as my tired old body would allow. It was great just letting the warm text scroll all over the place.

I like this idea, but I'm normally not around until at least 10ish Eastern. I'll keep an eye on this thread, though.

I think we should be able to cash in unused respecs for some manner of tangible reward, in-game.

Used to be Spider-man. After playing the same character for six years, now it's my main character.

Quote:I've been gone from the game for a year but came back to check out Going Rogue. Unfortunately I'd have to say that there really isn't that much new stuff in the game considering it's been a whole year. I would have liked to see new archetypes. A year's worth of fees for the game would be about $170 which is about what is costs to buy three brand new games.
My poor laptop can't run Ultra Graphics Mode, so I am missing out on that.
I'll probably play CoH for a month, maybe two, then I'll cancel again. Really what are you developers doing with all the subscription money? This superhero game should be growing by leaps and bounds, not limping along. DCUO is coming out soon and I've got a Playstation 3. Better get your stuff together NC Soft!
Not liking all the new content is not the same as there being no new content. -
Quote:I made my first billion on Fabricator. You've discovered how easy it is. Now you, too, can casually purple a warshade.I'm working on the Field Crafter accolade (to eliminate that run from the auction house to the nearest University/Base and back). After doing a bit of reading, I concluded that I would lose horrendous amounts of inf pursuing it, but that it would be worth it in the long haul.
I find that is not the case.
Don't get me wrong; yes it will be worth it. What is surprising me is that while crafting and selling almost only generic IOs (minus those that I use, of course), I am making a ridiculous profit overall. Now, to me a ridiculous profit is a couple million inf for a stack of Gen-IOs after considering the buy-in/crafting/listing/selling costs. I usually start with no recipes on hand and none of the needed salvage, but I am still pulling in a significant haul over a buying/selling cycle, so much so that I've only got about halfway through one tier (I started with the 25-30 ones for the +Salvage) and I've already doubled my starting holdings.
This can't be normal. Can it? I assume mostly this is due to the plummet in the prices of salvage after GR hit (and boy did I stock up on Luck Charms and others, planning to flip them after the price rebounded--but ended up using some of them for crafting) but even so, people are paying huge mark-ups for the stuff I'm selling, even though I'm listing much, much lower than the going rate (in most cases). I guess that's the magic of the double-blind market.
Anyway, can I expect this to continue throughout all (or even most of) the tiers, or did I happen upon the one profitable tier at the outset?
If it continues, then by the time I've acquired the Portable Workbench I'll have enough inf to start some serious marketeering. Oooh, the joy.
Edited to add: This is on a level 26 character, starting with only the 5M inf he brought with him from redside. -

Others should join in! It's pretty fun.
Now I did try and make a thread about this, as found here, but this is all the more advertising! -
