Granted it's not the most convincing photo there, but the info blurb does confirm that the Centurions are female. They're certainly less beefy than the Surgeons, Engineers, and Praefecti.

A typical Cimeroran really does seem to be a man's man in every possible way.
Not that the Cimerorans don't have their share of questionable bumder tendencies, but some of the Cimeroran LTs were women last I checked.

Very frequently also involved with or sympathetic to white supremacist and similar racist ideologies. Not all Odinists i've met are racist bigots, but in the US i will concede it seems to be a magnet for them, and that at least 75% of those i've met who identify themselves as such have been.

Sad but all too often true.
Pretty much. I realize that not all Viking descendants and fans have this mindset, but the overwhelming majority of Viking-happy folks that I've met have been absolutely deplorable white supremacists. The whole culture has taken on a very sour taste for me since then, which doubly sucks because I used to have a great love for Norse mythology.

Also, they smashed a ton of poor defenseless gargoyles in 994.

Warning: large pictures ahead, full of awesome vikingness plus horses that are braver than I am, friend.

Someone needs to send a memo to the 5th Column- their next time fortress had better be viking infested, or they're in big trouble.

Unsigned. All the Viking proponents I've ever met in life have been ********, racists, and racist ********. I detest Vikings.

I originally read that as "Carnie panties broke out in random zones." An observation; do with it what you will.
  6. I immediately imagine a War Mace character using the sparking tech mace as her magic wand. Use normal, rainbowy Invulnerability or hot pink Willpower for her other power.

Though at one point I did have a magical girl-type character who was an Illusion/Trick Arrow Controller.

Hmm, I've never heard of "alicorn" before. The only single word I've ever seen to describe a winged unicorn before was "hypacorn".

Also, if it comes from "alae" (Latin for wings, IIRC), shouldn't it be "alacorn" or something?

    Alter Egos

There are only two characters in my stable that even remotely resemble me in real life. And even they don't look anything like me except for gender, hair color, and skin tone. All my other characters are of completely different races, genders, etc. And with the possible exceptions of the werewolf, the two robots, and the demon I've made, all my characters are infinitely prettier than I will ever be. And I like it that way.

So Praetorian Sally is the Arachnos Flier?

IIRC, the Praetorian Battle Maiden has an axe blade on her spear; that may be where the confusion is coming from.

Great. Now you've got me imagining Doc Aeon doing "Road To The Multiverse".

I'm a married 34yo male. My wife is 31 and also plays CoH when not at school. We would love to find a girlfriend for the both of us that plays CoH, too. Although, playing CoH isn't a must, just something to have in common to start. PM if interested and we can cover basics from there. East Coast is a must.
So you're saying you're looking for a girl gamer to have a 3-way with? O_o

I can think of one reason. Perhaps the person leaving feels a bit annoyed at the PvPer who's initiated this situation, and so wants to deprive him of the satisfaction of a kill?

    Eco.
This. If I deign to head to Bloody Bay for a Shivan, that's what I'm there for, and only that. If I get attacked, I get attacked. But I'm not obligated to fight back or stand still.

It's not that running away is a valid tactic in PVP - it's more of a valid response to being attacked by a PVPer. If I'm in the zone for a Shivan and I get attacked, I flee because it's the most beneficial course of action for me. The fact that I deprive the attacker of a kill if I can successfully escape is icing on the cake.

So to the guy who asserted that running = fear, far from it. Running means survival, the path of least inconvenience, and spite.

Of course, this just presents the opportunity to have Zombie Toymaker Praetorian Nemesis. Bots/Dark Mastermind perhaps?

Perhaps they can figure out how to /EnergonGoodie after this weird Triforce business is sorted out.

Although if it were possible to color-customize emotes, the crafting emote would work nicely.

  22. Ditto for any pink-colored weapons primary for a Psi Scrapper, with pink Willpower secondary. If you prefer unarmed, I say use pink Electrical Melee for all that lovely neural electrical activity.

These. Why walk when you can [any of the available Travel Powers]? I don't have the time or the patience for that noise.
  24. Just one 50 on each side for me, though my Peacebringer is getting close at 48.

Blueside it's Solarsquall, a Storm/Energy Defender and my first character ever. Took him nearly a year to hit 50 due to time constraints and being on Pinnacle, but I had a lot of great help from a Scrapper and a Tanker who got a real kick out of playing with a Storm Defender. I don't play him as often these days, but he's become my default new content tester; I figure that since he's 50, he can take any potentially awful new TF or what have you and I don't have to worry.

Redside is Chthonian, a Stone/Stone Brute. I originally rolled him because I wanted a Stone/Stone character, but was vehemently opposed to playing a Tanker and have to worry about crap like crowd control and taking care of other people. I just wanted to SMASH. Unfortunately, at least back when Chthonian was active, people still treated me as if I was playing a Stone/Stone Tanker and expecting me to seriously tank for them. One d-bag actually spam-insulted me for not having Taunt on him before I put him on /ignore. So I barely touch him these days, except once in a while to grab a couple of Accolade powers.
  25. For me it's all about what do I miss redside/blueside when I'm playing blueside/redside. I'm grooming a Warshade for redside now because such a thing doesn't exist yet, and a Dominator to send blueside. I'm also considering switching a Blaster and a Mastermind around, but I'm not as committed to that idea right now as I am the Warshade and the Dominator.
