It there an article about how you should treat your global friends? Is there some sort of proper etiquette?
How often can you ask them for a team or what they are doing?
What do you use pick-up-global-friends for, really? -
I have noticed that some servers seems less full and some more so... especially more people on liberty and victory and less on Freedom. Can it be that people are moving between servers and, if so, how did that happen after such a long time of Freedom-domination?

after playing poker online for a few years, I avoid anything that is wireless. It could become very expensive and I just can't stand the interruption when a battery runs out

Also, not explicitly mentioned so far, that level 40 who is exemplared to level 2 will have the hit points and damage of a level 2 character. So they won't be mopping the floor with anyone. They WILL likely be tougher than a 'real' level 2 since they probably have accolades to boost END or HP and may have IO bonuses that they get to keep. But they won't be doing much mopping. -

Okay that's fair, but without end game, you level up to 50 and then just start a new character and do it all over again? That seems kind of silly especially for an MMO, where the goal is to get your character to the level cap to become more powerful.
With 450 alts and counting, I love the focus on alts here :-) (12 50s so far)
I want to log in and think "ok, who do I feel like playing today?" and constantly shift my focus -

What you describe is the part of the game that never gets boring for me, as the market always varies and you have to take into account the minds of humans, instead of mindless enemies on maps you have been on before.
I assume its the closest I will get to PvP :-) -

I understand if this is not good from a central perspective, but I would appreciate if the west coast and east coast servers did not have maintenance at the same time, so there are always servers that are up

Damn, the market moves so fast now that it is hard to this many market toons to keep up. Some of them that I log in on happily announce that they have bough 10 fortunes for 3333 each... ouch (which was a good deal before I16) -
YES! This is my favorite event! The ToT and the GMs, not the zombie invasions, but, as said, they can be avoided

I multibox a lot and it really kills my time and enjoyment when I have to waste precious time searching for that last enemy while all I want is just to have my train of toons continue on their rampage -
I wonder how long after I16 these thread will continue to pop up

Joined a new SG on Freedom and watched it become #1 by hitting the staggering amount of 321 million prestige, which was pretty cool. Two toons were brought to 47 (from 43 and 33) and one from 1 to 22 in that SG.
Played a bit on other servers as well, nothing remarkable, but good fun.
The most disturbing thing was family members and real life intruding. First double XP I had a real job, which messed with my gaming (OK, I had one in July but then I could take a vacation for the double XP days) -

My main villain and main hero will never be finished.
Every other character I play is done either when they hit 50 or when they get deleted.
Then they either become wanna-be farmers (if they are on another server than my main farmer) or trade drones (having 18 slots in the WW is good). Most often I also buy full sets for them (no purps) just to see how powerful they get with them (but I usually do this at 47, as soon as they can slot 50s)
