Maybe we could provide a temporary PowerLevelling service for those under level 15. hehe!!
And how about some Carol Singers TG ? ( a group of 9 or 10 people /e Ressearch)

Job done, courtesy of Agent Flux and the Kraftwerk Fan Club Choir...(clicky) -

Also noticed as I watched it last night Bill Paxton as Hudson does more acting in the final moments as he gets pulled through the floor than he does in the entirity of Twister
[/ QUOTE ]
That's not hard.
Incidentally, the Twister "studio demo" at Universal Studios is the worst. theme park exhibit. ever. Particularly the cardboard cow. (But it's still worth going just for the MIB ghost train and the Fear Factor Live show... and the Hulk coaster at Islands Of Adventure)
My bots at present:
Drones:
BR1-DGR
R4C-KJW
CP4-JOE
ProtBots:
4M-BOSS
4T-REID
Assault:

[/ QUOTE ]
lol, why, interested?

Not personally... but do you do gift vouchers? -

Only thing Flux will be slinging around is snowballs and dance moves.
Oh, and any MMs who want to help provide light show: /petsay_all <em flashlight> -

The next thing we could really use for the base is the Spirit Signal / Auto Doc resurrector upgrade, so anyone with healing powers please have SG mode on...
[/ QUOTE ]
That'd be G then.
Update for you SG people, tonight there is an event on, CLICKY, i'd like the villains to attend if possible, I will be there from 5:30, but have to leave about 7-8 pm ish, but i should be good. So see you ther.
Thanks dreamer for sorting out the base, but let me help next time eh, i've not seen it yet
.
have fun kids, g2g I'm at workies
Plight
P.S. how do wwe get an insp dispenser? would be quality
[/ QUOTE ]
Seems I was mistaken. The AutoDoc isn't a resurrector upgrade...it's the insp dispenser!
Yep, we have a new toy in the base. The Auto Doc can be found in the Infirmary area - near the rez circle - and will cheerfully dispense you basic Health and End insps. It can also take some of your spare ones off you for cash (although it's fairly arbitrary about which ones it wants to buy.) -
Just my 2 inf, but the Traps version of Poison Trap rocks when slotted 2xHold and 1xSlow.
-
Again, my 2 inf, but Poison Trap & Acid Mortar are two of the real jewels in this set and shouldn't be missed.
Team Teleport would definitely have its uses too, especially on COT Oranbega maps for getting everyone out of the depths. Not had much exp with it though.
Detonator is the set's Nuke power. I haven't yet seen it in action but I can see it being useful - say one of your Bots has decided to go kamikaze and aggro a new mob (as they inevitably will), once they hit orange or red health you can blow 'em up - partly for extra damage and partly for the satisfaction of teaching that naughty droid a lesson the others should learn from.
(Note to human-based MMs with Traps: I'm sure you should add a bind for Detonator, with /em evillaugh, /petsay_all <em cower> and say: "And this is the price of failure..."> -
My 2 Infamy:
PRIMARIES:
There isn't a single BAD power on the primary list, although excessive blasting may give you END problems. I'd say skip Photon Grenade for the respec, since your ProtBots will get this.
SECONDARIES:
GET:
FF Generator - just as good as Dispersion Bubble
Acid Mortar - handy debuff and mob distractor
Poison Trap - Slow, Regen debuff, Hold (and vomit!)
Trip Mine - hugely useful for dealing with ambush waves if nothing else
Caltrops are worth considering.
FORGET:
Triage Beacon: it won't save you in a tight spot and doesn't make a huge difference in combat, even with SOs. Regen boost is simply too small... and you have to stand still!
Seeker Drones: while your bots may accidentally aggro other mobs, these are DESIGNED to do expressly that. Besides, your ProtBots get this free with Upgrade at 32 (you're going to LOVE level 32), so it's a wasted slot.
POOL POWERS:
LEADERSHIP: practically mandatory for this class. Bots are tougher than most, so go for Assault and Tactics. Vengeance won't work on pets. Slot Assault with 1 EndRed and Tactics with 3 TH Buffs and 1 EndRed.
CONCEALMENT: If you want to do PvP, you need this... full stop. Having tried Stealth only, next respec I'll be switching to Grant Invis + Invis.
TRAVEL POWER: Up to you. I personally like Fly, but although the flying bot anim looks cool wouldn't recommend Group Fly. Teleport is probably the most useful set overall to have for Bot MMs, since you get:
- Recall Friend (for retrieving wandering pets)
- Teleport Foe (for dropping enemies in midst of your pets, and/or onto Trip Mines/Poison Traps)
- Teleport (there are plenty of -Fly and Slow powers, but not many that stop TP) -
There are a couple of Super Uber IoPs available, apparently.
The True Furnace: (clicky): small portable sun that gives +1,000,000 base Energy and radiates +10 End for all SG members while in SG mode. Plus it looks nifty.
The True Book: complete chronicles of Rularuu that give all SG members 20% Debt Protection while in SG mode.
Those are pretty well worth it... again, only one each per server, though, and you'd better be prepared to defend them if you get them. -
Should be cool indeed.
Base update: we've now expanded the plot to the next size up, and have teleporters available for all 6 of the available zones. (TP room for Mercy, Oakes, Cap and Sharkhead is next to the Workshop, Nerva and S/M are straight ahead from the entrance room.)
Raid Teleportal should be back later tonight. This makes us absolutely definitely IoP/raid ready (text for this size of base says it's the smallest one allowable for IoP trials. While we did fulfill all the conditions on the smaller one, the devs may have coded it so.)
The next thing we could really use for the base is the Spirit Signal / Auto Doc resurrector upgrade, so anyone with healing powers please have SG mode on... -
Was thinking a Nuke Blast with about 8 Righteous Rages dropped onto Rocky's assembled heroes would be entertainingly evil and a properly fitting tribute to Sunburst's idiocy... however, can't make it on Wednesday now.
-
I'm not sure whether it's just the bots that can do this, but I find I can fire off both Equip and Upgrade in quick succession and it only takes slightly longer than Equip alone.
I get the big bot ready, pull up the FF Generator and roll out straight off, buffing the others as I go along. -
I'm guessing that's bad [censored] rather than good [censored]?
UBBthreads filter nerf strikes again... -
Do the Nuke/Chem/Bio Blast powers from Warburg work on PvP targets?
-
I'd tried an /FF on Beta, which is why I went for the /Traps option: they're not quite so indestructible, but you get a balance of buffs and debuffs and doesn't take so long on the buffing process for all the bots.
And yes, incendiary swarm missiles do make you feel like a proper evil genius. -

if you stick to the small rooms you can get a workable base in the basic plot however a time will come in construction where you will have to make a choice bewteen having a vault hospital and teleporter as there is only room for two of these after you build you conrol room power room and workshop
[/ QUOTE ]
We crammed all of these in:
- 2x2 Entrance Room (no anchor)
- 2x2 Power Room (Anchor 1, Arcane generator)
- 1x4 Control Room (Anchor 2, Arcane kit with Oracle)
- 2x2 Workshop (Anchor 3, Basic Worktable & Forge)
- 2x2 Base Hospital (Anchor 4, rez circle)
- 2x2 Teleport room (Anchor 5, Arcane Raid TP)
- 2x2 Teleport room (Anchor 6, Tech TP Pads x2)
- 2x2 Containment Alcove (no anchor, IoP Base)
Arcane kit seems to be better suited to small bases than Tech kit, particularly as Arcane Raid TP pad will *just* fit in a 4x4 room. -
DW is 31. DW's evil clone, DreamTwister is... about eight weeks out of the tank, but appears roughly seventeen.
PowerStar is 28 and already a grizzled veteran cop.
Flux is 25, and already wanted by dozens of different intelligence and police agencies... -
Defiant only - apols, haven't got anyone with that much cash on Union or Vig. Both heroes and villains can play. (Hence 500k limit, which is Flux's entire account at present).
PS: Anyone on Union with that much cash willing to sponsor the contest, will be happy to repay any toons you have on Def. -
DW: formerly timid web designer/TV researcher granted magical powers and by reading and then becoming Guardian of the Codex Of St. Delia. Also psychically connected to all other Guardians throughout time and space.
PowerStar: Ordinary Paragon CSI who risked her own life tracking and saving hostages from CoT. Life saved by Citadel, who built her a battle suit. Still works for PCPD.
Agent Flux: globetrotting corporate spy and thief who became involved with Crey robotics researcher, Professor Chronotis. Helped him with his work by stealing components and working on code, while he helped her work by letting her test the drones. Researcher killed by Crey and Flux framed for the murder - the one crime she could never have committed... -
...just cause somebody had to.
500k inf (either CoH or CoV) to the best shot posted of your festive 'toons.
Quick one to start you off...
...clap your hands if you believe in empaths!
Comp closes 23rd Dec, which is last day before I get invaded by nephews and nieces... -
BTW, Global Channel ootcs is now running
-
...any times?
Definitely free Sun Eve/Night, Mon Eve/Night -
Ello there.
I have Robots/Traps too, and would suggest you take from Traps set:
- Web Grenade (auto)
- Acid Mortar
- FF Generator
- Poison Trap
- Trip Mine
- Detonator
From Bots:
- Battle Drones
- PR Blast
- Equip
- Photon Grenade
- Protector Bots
- Repair
- Assault Bot
- Upgrade
SUGGESTED Pool Powers:
- Assault
- Tactics
- Stealth
- Travel Pool (suggest Fly or TP)
Triage Beacon really not up to much even with SOs, but most of the other Traps powers are fantastic. Caltrops you can take or leave. -
Care bears with lasers FTW...
(Re: the mimes, anyone else played No-One Lives Forever 2? The Mime King has the best AV sequences ever. And there are many vehicle sequences in many FPS games, but an enraged Scotsman on a tricycle has to be the best mode of transport ever.)
