It does seem like they've been more receptive of player requests recently. Zwillinger seemingly being the driving force behind it. It's nice.

Of course none of the stuff I suggest or bring up gets listened to either, but that's besides the point. Just that they're listening to anyone is good enough for me.

I hide from searches because my answer to a pug invite will always be "no", but that has nothing to do with those people asking to pug being jerks or me not being sociable. It just prevents them from wasting their time and me wasting my time.

Regardless /hide is one of the most useful slash commands in the game, right alongside /stuck and /ah (imo, of course )

It takes a moment for the "hidden" status to fully register with the proc. After using the attack, it is possible to que up Concentrated strike before the proc truly "activates", and because of this you don't get a buildup recharge. But, because you launched an attack, it takes you out of hidden status.

Still not sure if this should be classified as a bug or a hardware limitation, though.
What attack do you have it in? AS?

Just as an fyi, the pets would only benefit from the +movement, slow resist, and +recov, but they're unaffected by +rchg. Furthermore the +recovery is typically useless for pets provided the pets are slotted for endredux. Fulcrum Shifted pets (especially ninjas) with transfusion would be great though the rest would be a little underwhelming.

Some set types don't have anything left (control). But there are still some things left to spread around, especially for melee. Spines Brutes and Super Strength scrappers come to mind.
  6. We get powerset proliferation once every 4-5 issues.

First was i12, then i16, then i21. We're not due for the next round til i25 or 26.

How's that different than what we currently have? You can already put all your heroes in 1 SG and all your villains in a VG and.... *ahem*, nevermind. Still though.

Not sure, but I'm deleting the km/ea stalker I was leveling if it's not a bug. =/
  11. 1) HvV balance can be pretty delicate. It took them a long time (read: loooooong) to get villains up to the hero standard (the big thing being patron/mastery proliferation). At this point it can easily be said that the 2 "factions" are well balanced. That said, I tend to avoid anything that could disrupt said balance for either side.

    2) This would involve alot of dev time to go back to pretty much every mission and add a reward table to it. A reward table that isn't very significant outside of RP reasoning. The RP factor of the reward tables would only apply to those who actually care about RP, while it would be forced upon everyone else. Infact if I got assaulted by a reward table after every mission I'd be more annoyed with it than anything, since it's not really additional rewards, it's just changing the rewards to suit what you want most, which for most players would be the same thing over and over. Something like that would be better as a toggle in the options menu tbh and would take significantly less dev resources.

  13. Double xp is meh. Double inf is win.

Probably not, but at some point balance does need to factor into it.

Although considering it further, I don't think anyone would mourn Serum or Repair being removed. I honestly don't know what the popular opinion of Smoke Flash is, I've never been able to get past all of Ninjas' many (many, many, many) problems to actually play the set past 10.
Most likely they wouldn't be removed due to the cottage rule, but they could certainly be improved. Smoke Flash can be nice on a Jounin (ST) or the Oni (AoE) and it can be made perma, however it costs an obnoxious amount of endurance.

    No fuss ... no muss.
    Problem SOLVED.
It's a simple database edit ... which makes you wonder why it hasn't been done yet.
If they did such a thing they would probably just combine the pool of pet sets and recharge pet sets into one set category (which they should have just done from the get-go imo). However this doesn't fix the issue that pets aren't affected by recharge, it wouldn't make sense to give recharge boosting enhancements to pets that don't benefit from it, even with the 2 procs existing that mess with balance.

Smoke Flash is ... kludgy. It's basically a Pet Placate (ala Stalkers), but the Hide (and double damage) doesn't wear off for 10 seconds, so it's a bit more like Build Up in that respect. My main problem with the power is the extreme Endurance Cost of it (even when reduced by slotting) and the fact that it affects only ONE Ninja, which you have to Target ... rather than being a 60 ft PBAoE Click which affects ALL of your Ninjas simultaneously. I'd much rather have a PBAoE Smoke Flash that lasted 5 seconds, than a Single Target Smoke Flash that lasted for 10 seconds (and required me to switch targets to use, most of the time). Use of Smoke Flash requires a lot more "Flying the Gauges" in the workload of your attention span, which is a familiar experience to any Empath, World Of Pain or Time Manipulation driver. Without Smoke Flash, you can keep your attention centered on the "action" happening on screen where the enemy is, without needing to be (as) constantly aware of your Pet Status window (and if you have any of them selected as your Target within it).

Of course, one of the ways around that problem is the Target Of Target system ... where you Target a Foe, and whatever THEY are targeting becomes the beneficiary of Smoke Flash (and so long as that's a Ninja Pet, it works).
As mentioned the main issue with Smoke Flash is it's massive endurance cost. The fact that it only affects one pet is fine because it can be made perma. Being able to keep 1 pet in perma crit mode is pretty good. It just costs way to much endurance for it to be viable to do so. If they changed it to affect all pets (potentially without having to retarget) would probably mean changing it to only affect the next attack the pet makes, which would be fine if you could edit their AI, but you can't.

Is this a known issue or has anyone else had to deal with it?

Is there a fix for it?
    It's known.

    AFAIK there isn't a fix.
  16. I just skip the Sister Jocasta mission when doing hero>hero tips. The rest are fine, hero>hero tips have some of the fastest ones available, compared to what other alignments have to deal with, luckily I rarely have to do those.
  17. All of your pets benefit from your Interface and Alpha picks. For example since you went musculature and reactive all your pets will be dealing 45% more damage (at t4 core and affected by ED and the damage cap) and will have a chance to proc interface with each of their damaging attacks.

For a MM I would reccomend Cognitive Interface (12% confuse, 75% DoT). Since each of your pet's attacks have a chance to trigger Interface it is quite easy to stack the confuse and damage. It is also relatively uncommon compared to Reactive Interface which many other ATs will prefer.

Paragonwiki lists Interface as being able to stack up to 4 times, although there has been mixed reports of it being able to stack up to 6 or 8 times. Regardless on a mastermind (or any AT with pets) it's not hard to reach the stack cap since all your pets can proc it.

Your choice on Judgment is mostly cosmetic, though each has a few differences. Pyronic for quickest activation and DoT, Ion for radius and targets hit, Void for a stellar -dmg debuff, Vorpal for a self def buff.

Barrier is great for MMs providing huge +def and +res for you, your pets, and your team, though considering you're a bots/ff you may get more mileage out of rebirth.

Lore is largely cosmetic though Cimeroran Core can put out the most dps.

Larger groups have spawned fewer EB's because for some reason they won't attack the Rikti (deviating from the activity). lol, k.
  19. I used to do 5-10 tips daily with a group of friends every weekday at 8 pm. I don't do it anymore because the people I did it with don't play anymore, but it made an extremely boring and repetitive task somewhat enjoyable. It's also the main reason all my toons have glad armor procs in them without ever having to buy one on the market.

I had planned to do the 1st sig story arc a few times weekly, because it can be completed in 6 mins each time through, but the lockout proved to be more annoying to keep track of than it was worth for me.

I plan to do the DA content occassionally late at night when people aren't on to do trials, but the progression rate won't be remotely comparable to how fast you can incarnate out a toon via trials.

Why do the customer service people not know that these things are also purchasable with in game rewards and not just from the super packs? If they can not change out the ATO for the correct one is there another way to do this aside from the converters?
If CS isn't going to help you and you have no use for that specific IO your only option is using a converter or selling it on WW and using the money you make from it to buy the correct one.

No, I already understood it perfectly clearly. The bombs are extremely easy to get, you don't even need a strategy, just run around and tab target til you find one and kill it. It has nothing to do with how experienced you are, all that matters is the number of people you have and that those people are all grouped up for the EBs.
