Y u no BF? And he should have never closed into melee with you, since you could have Chillblain'd him even after getting mezzed.

    This isn't rocket science.

No, even there you shouldn't need that much accuracy.
  4. You honestly don't need anywhere near that much accuracy. Hell you could get rid of both focused accuracy and the normal Acc IOs in KC slotted powers and you would still be fine.

And when that's a treespec, blueside gets Terra Volta.

    Again.
Also they are treated as 3 seperate trials, making the chance that it is at least 1 of them much higher.

Huh this sounds exactly like the situation the devs said they wanted to avoid when they were going to take away Emp's from Baf's

They actually did a good reversal of it though by giving 2 emps to harder trials, now easier trials get ignored for easy/high reward high level trial and it leaves non level shifts stuck.

This is going to be fun if people start going preem because they give up on the incarnate system because of lack of advancement.

DD is brand new. People want to do the new content. This is the same for any issue. Give it a week or two and things will even out.

Da/Apex/Tin are not realistic for level shifting.

Someone worked out it would take something like 6 months to t3 all your slots, running every day.
Do Dark Astoria when there is downtime between trials, it doesn't have to be the only way you progress. I also mentioned quite a bit more than just DA/Apex/TM. Stop being stubborn and look outside the box.

And you say IM imagining things.
The enemies in DD are all lvl 56 and the bosses are lvl 57. If you aren't +2 or +3 you are not going to be doing anything significant to anything in that trial, no matter what you are, no matter how good you are. This isn't players excluding other players, it's just the way the trials are set up.

It is also a brand new trial, and while it is already obnoxiously easy, it's nice to have a stronger group until the trial gets to "farm status".

There are plenty of options for progressing your unshifted toons to +3 without leeching on the trial with highest level enemies. Including but not limited to - lvl 50 TFs, Apex, TM, Lam, BAF, Keyes, TPN, Dark Astoria, and to a lesser extent MoM/UGT (which are better for level shifted toons also)

As for asking for support only, it was probably this reason:

Yes, it can be troublesome for older characters and we shouldn't have to pay to adjust to game changes, but when they can profit off it, which route do you think they would prefer?

    2) 3 respec trials (on red and blue side) in game.

    3) respec recipe canbe purchased in game.

    4) Most importantly, respec can be purchased in the market.

Giving it away free with all those other free options available, makes it hard to make money on the market one.

I expect to see less free respecs given out.
Bingo. Also there are 2 more you can get from the patron arcs.

If you went TW/Elec on a scrapper you would only have 75% energy resistance instead of 90% and you would have no taunt aura (scrapper damage auras do not have taunt auras) meaning things would be running all over the place, and no aoe taunt either. TW works best when everything is neatly bunched up to maximize your aoes.

If you went TW/Elec on a brute you would have 90% energy resist, a taunt aura, aoe taunt, and deal pretty much the same amount of damage as a scrapper. Damage auras are also best on Brutes, which can mean alot for Titan Weapons, if you're left with 1 enemy with just a smidge of health left and you don't have momentum it can suck to have to finish that off with a long animating (usually high end) attack, Fury boosted Damage auras work very well to solve that issue.

If you went TW/Elec on a tank you would be in the same situation as a brute except dealing significantly less damage, with only slightly better non energy resists to show for it.

What are the resist and defense 'softcaps' for each AT?
Defense Softcap for all ATs is 45%. The Incarnate softcap is 59%.

Resistance hardcap is 75% for scrappers and 90% for brutes and tankers.

They have said before that many of the animations done are performed/experimented with at paragon studios live. They probably have at least 1 staff already that they have been using.

Bleh, I was hoping it would be updated before double xp so I could figure out if I wanted to level anything. I guess I will have to makeshift an update myself so I can start working on dark assault and staff fighting builds.

Ice and Plant are not tied, and Dark is slower than Fire and ice.

    Fire: 1.32

Fire and Mind are significantly faster.

Why does Dark control have the fastest activating aoe stun? (Fire's is also pbaoe and takes .6 seconds longer to activate)
Fire's aoe hold is also ~0.5 secs faster than dark's aoe hold which balances that out. The only other set with an aoe stun is Earth and it is only 0.4 secs slower, and it also has a significantly faster aoe hold.
  19. I consider it a midway between Psi Assault and Fiery Assault.
  20. The difference in power between +regen rebirth and +hp rebirth is pretty massive.

It becomes even more apparant if you math out the +regen into healing. For example a toon with 1606 hp (hp cap for many squishies) that +regen equates to about 105hp/sec over the first 10 seconds, which is massive.

Also keep in mind that Destiny is a team buff. Many ATs with accolades and moderate IOing will be very close to or at the hp cap or will otherwise not receive the full benefit from a +hp destiny. Everyone will benefit from the +regen destiny.

  22. I was pretty shocked to find out that Possess had a longer cast time compared to MC and Ill confuses. Especially because they went through the trouble to balance the cast time of Confuse and Deceive before (Deceive used to have a longer cast time).

Believe it or not, I'm pro blaster buffing. I do think they need help. I do NOT think they need such an extreme amount of help as you make it out to be. My opinion on the best way to lobby for buffs is to be reasonable about it, which you are not. You are asking for blaster buffs the same way tanks were demanding massive buffs to their damage output not too long ago. Basically they wanted to be able to be the most survivable and be able to be top tier damage dealers, because thats how many tanks are portrayed in comics. This doesn't work in MMOs, there needs to be balance, you can't have everything.

And to add: the 2 statements you quoted are not related and I still stand by each of those statements. And I will quote Arcana's response:

To be fair, there are ways to deal with mez other than having mez protection powers, like being able to continue to attack while mezzed for example. The question really is less "should blasters get mez protection" and more "to what degree should mez be deleterious to blasters?" If we decide its too harmful now, the mechanical way we make it less harmful is less important to me than it becomes less harmful in the way intended.
As mine as well. I've said it before and I will say it again, flat mez protection is not the only answer.

  25. I only have +3 lvl shifted characters, however considering +4 difficulty really only means +1 to your character, I'll comment anyways.

I've been running on +4/x8 on all my toons. I'm really enjoying the DA content, which says alot cause I thought I would hate it being normal missions (which I generally don't enjoy).

The enemy groups are great, with awesome powers. Even on just (effectively) +1/x8 the Talons of Vengeance are quite deadly even for min/maxed characters. They are easily my favorite faction in the game now.

Also I'll second Neur, that PPD mission to lead out Director 11 made me pull my hair out.
