First off, has anyone made a list of the maps available, with a "cleared" minimap showing the layout? I would think that an *extremely* useful community tool.
To the point at hand, I need a small airport, ideally in a jungle setting. Are there any outdoor maps that could fit this, possibly an outdoor map from Nerva? -
Would this not ruin the ability to play a character's entire career via AE, as the devs have touted?

psst! no apostrophe in "Ads" It's a plural, not a possessive.

Allow the player to choose the level range of ACTUAL RECIPE on the merit roll, NOT just the level range of the sets rolled against.

A random roll is a random roll. If you were to add too many variables to it to the extent that it is so 'targettable' at specific sets, it is no longer a random roll.
However, if this does happen, likely that the devs would up the price of a roll as well, if so many more variables are added.

The sets are already being targeted by the player choosing which level tier to roll on. All I am advocating is a simple binary: Let the player choose that any resulting recipe be at his/her level (or highest level for the set) which is current functionality, OR allow them to click a button "Restrict recipe level" which would simply set the max level of any resulting recipe to the TIER level, or max level of the set.
This way, a level 50 player can get recipes that allow exemping down if they roll on a lower tier such as 30-34 or even in the high teens should they so wish
As it is now, if you want a recipe of a lower level, you're going to have to TURN OFF XP at your future exemp level, and run TFs until you get the set recipes you need, before continuing to level. -

If a 50 wants level 30 IOs so he/she can exemp down and still get the set bonuses, they CAN NOT do so. The player cannot even park an alt at the desired level and transfer merits from another character on the same account.
Low and mid level recipes for many sets are rapidly disappearing as pre-Issue 13 stock is depleted. This is hurting more than it is helping. -
Well, back to the subject of the City Scoop ads- The purpose of an ad is to bring in more customers. In order to do this, you have to let them know what you're "selling", in this case the OFFICIAL CoX fanzine. It has to get their attention, and the information needs to be easily memorable. That is the purpose of the URL at the bottom of this mock-up. I would think that it wouldn't be *too* hard for the marketing/community relations folk to put up a page that would link to the various issues of the Scoop- kind of like a devtracker for City Scoop issues.
Anyway, here's a quick and dirty mockup, using images from the ANCIENT fan website kit. (Hint to the community relations dept. : that CoV logo was the ONLY CoV item in the fansite kit!)

Another AR weapon: Laser beam guns (think the old original Star Trek phasors that had a beam instead of a "laser projectile."

tsk, tsk, even the rednames are getting the "FIRST" disease...
On topic, though, I want a Wild West AR set: Lever-action Winchester, TNT for grenade launcher maybe?
(Do I *really* need to post a picture of a Winchester?)

If you don't get XP for killing it, it won't drop recipes.

oops, forgot to mention that I have build up.
When it's up, things are a much easier.
I think my problem is that I dive in thinking that I'm going to take those 3 yellow or orange Lts along with the 7 or so white/yellow minions. Perhaps I just need to set my sights a little lower, but I'm always *this* close to finishing all the SOBs off, so I stick around trying to beat them to the KO rather than running.
What can I say? I'm a scrapper! -
The Atomic Hedgehog, my poor spines/dark scrapper, feels awfully squishy at level 9. I'm planning on taking Haste at 10 to kill them before they can kill me. Right now I have:
Lunge
Spine Burst
Impale
Dark Embrace
Death Shroud
I plan on using Super Jump for my travel power. Is taking Haste at 10 a good idea?
