    Bot-Slotting

    Poison trap can be recalled but the only use I can see for trip mine as a bots/ MM is as a last line of defence against AV's and EB's, everything else just melts under the bots firepower in less time than it takes to set up enough mines to hurt them sufficiently.

    Ok I have written a guide on my bots/ff you can find it here

    Just looking at your build I would say drop Manuvers as it has extremly low defence boost at a high end cost and go for assault earlier instead.

    You dont really need stamina as a bots/ff MM if you choose what powers to run at what time and you have chosen it at the detriment to oher more useful powers IMO.

    Vengance doens work on dead bots so it is only good if you team alot which can be tricky at later levels, I have resucitate in my build which has the same problems as vengance but I choose it to help me get healing badges and to help out th person who I would duo a lot with at the level I picked it up.

    Repulsion field is a bad idea unless you intend to pvp a lot but even then isnt that good.

    Bot slotting: Switch the KB in protector bots for an end red as they run out of end a lot post 32. Assault bot doesnt need the 3rd Acc with tactics.

    Might be an idea to get aid other and aid self to boost your and the bots survivability. PFF is a great power that is now best used as a panic button when things go pearshaped, it is also useful to take the alpha stike of a mob if the brute you are teraming with wont handle it.

    Not going to comment on traps as I dont have that much experience but on the rest of it this is my take:

    Bot Slotting is fine bar the Assault bot the 4th Dam makes very little difference so I would drop that for else where.

    Change an End red inequip to recharge and the same in upgrade. I can summon and buff all my bots with just the one end red in the upgrades without stamina as long as I dont run the leadership toggles while summoning the bots.

    Drop tp foe and pick up aid self, it does wonders for your survivability in both team and solo play.

    You will want more than one end red in Dark embrace as if its anything like Black scorpions armour it drains end at the rate of 1/sec.

    Lose the range in recall friend and just have end red in the default slot.

    Possibly drop a slot from caltrops to give you more slotting options like sticking it in tactics as a tohit buff.

    From what Ive heard detonator isnt that good but I dont have personal experience so I cant comment properly.

    THats about it at the moment.

  5. You are always welcome into ARAD or AMSTRAD depending on your origin and theme. ARAD has more members than AMSTRAD which is starting out adn so only has a 4 I think. THey are both in a Coalition so finding someone to team with shouldnt be a problem and there is a nice small base.

    I am looking for any fanatical badge hunters out there to help me get a few badges on my main Villain a lvl 40 MM.

    The badges I am thinking of going for as I currently have the missions are:

    Regenerator and Caliban Glad

    Kill Skulls and Bonecrusher

    Unveiler

    For the Regenerator and Unveiler ideally full teams are needed however the skulls one is guarenteed to spawn 6 bosses per run minimum.

    So if anyone is interested in working towards these post below, PM me or send me a tell to @Dr E Genius.
    I am Ideally looking to get these done by the end of this week so if youre up for it give me an idea as to times when you are available.

    The problem with the way you have split the powers up is to do with the AI. Currently most henchmen summoned from the same power have the same powers so less AI coding required. With the way you have done it there is a lot of AI coding going on to identify individual henchmen and give them the ability to use their powers.

    If you are going with the tank idea for the last pet then maybe do it as a firey aura/dark melee power split with a prefernce on the Aura side not the melee side.

    I run tactics constantly and as I dont like to miss have slotted a lot of Acc's in the bots. Optimal slotting I have found is something like:

    Battle Drones: 3 Acc, 3 Dam

    Protector Bots: Anything you like here but really need 2 Acc 1 End red, the end red is a must post lvl 32.

    Assault Bot: 2 Acc 3 Dam.

    You can drop an Acc from each one if you dont plan to pvp a lot or fight orange/red enemies much just be warned about AV's and Heroes which are a pain to hit even with above slotting due to the lower threat levels the bots spawn at.
  10. Some thoughts I have on it are:

    1. Too complex - way to much variety in pet powers

    2. Lvl 18 power is odd

    3. Nice concept

    The changes I would make are pretty straight forward:

    1) 3rd Attack power: Change to teneborous tentacles
    2) Simplify pets: For Spirits make them all fire spirits except for the storm deamon also change some of the powers. So for 1st teir it would be something like this:

    Spirits:

    Standard; Firey blast, flameing puch(basically a melee attack that deals similar scale fire damage to flares)

    Empower; Firebreath

    Deamonic; Fireball

    For the storm spirit:

    Standard; Gale, Charged bolts

    Empower; O2 boost (pets only), lightning bolt

    Deamonic; Thunder clap


    For Furies make them just Dark pets looking something like:

    Standard; Dark blast, Shadow punch

    Empower; Tenebourus Tentacles, Gloom

    Deamonic; Night Fall, Life Drain

    For Infernal I would go for a scrapper type Idea so something like:

    Standard: Death shroud, Fire sword

    Empower; Cremate, Siphon Life

    Deamonic; Fire sword circle, Breath of fire

    Last change would be to alter the lvl 18 power. If you want it to be like a low power form of serum with no crash then remove the area of effect so it only affects one pet at a time. To be more unique I would actually change it to a reduced build up type power something like:

    10 sec duration, 50% Dam boost, 25% Acc boost, 90sec recharge, click target.

    This would give a nice boost in damage output for a selected pet for a short time.

    Anyway those are just my thoughts on it at the moment may think of others.
  11. I like this but suggest on the personal attack front switching firebreath to fireball.

    Also maybe change the 3rd tier pet to be less brute like and more tank like so instead of fury up their res a bit and stick in an invicible type power that boosts their def and acc for foes around them but remove the taunt affect from it. Also add hold res to the 3rd teir pet.

    Roleplay SG's

    The roleplay in Villains is very limited on both servers, it is mainly concentrated in sg's unlike on Union (Heroes side) where there are sg's and at least one open air meet.

    If you are intrested you can check out the ARAD website. We are a tech/sci based sg but we are coalitlioned with AMSTRAD who are a mutant/magic based sg.

  19. As Kal has said stamina is better at 20 although you can delay it.

    Looking at you build there are a few things I would change:

    Take Dull Pain at lvl 4 instead of TI. TI only gives protection against Smashing and leath and in the rogue isles you meet a lot of damage that isnt either of these early on so I would leave it to later.

    Take either haymaker or punch later; take hurdle at lvl 6 instead of the second one of these and drop swift.

    If you are taking Air Supp drop punch.

    Drop hand clap, it does no damage and spreads the mobs limiting the effect of foot stomp.

  21. THe easiest way to get help would be to post a build up and then everyone can suggest different ideas. We can also check your slotting and so on as well as highlight any usless powers you've picked or useful powers your missing.
  22. With Jab you have an attack chain from level 1 which means you can build fury quicker. In PvE take Jab for Pvp Punch might be slightly better but there is not much difference.
  23. With Inv treat it like you do a tanker so:

    TI and Unyeilding 3 Dam Res, 1 End
    Dull Pain 3 Recharge, 3 Heal
    Invinc I'd go for 3 Def, 3 Tohit
    Unstoppable 3 Dam Res, 3 Recharge
    Passives only slot once everything else is slotted if you even take them. About the only good passive is Tough Hide, the rst can be left out in favour of something else.

    For SS Rage needs 3 rechrges in.
    THe rest of the attacks can be slotted as Cynic says or go for something like:

    1 Acc, 2 Rechrge, 1 End 2 Dam

    If you plan to pvp swap the End for an Acc.
  24. So would slotting 2 Acc 2 Recharge 1 Dam 1 End work? Recharge to overcome ther - rechrage and damage to overcome -damage. Then just basically build fury as normal?

    edit: What about the minus speed how much is that negated with 3 slotted swift?
  25. Due to being a SS brute I am relying on fury and rage to deal with damage while in granite. I will be keeping all of the armours anyway so if extra damage but less resist is need I can use the other armours.

    PS: My attacks will be slotted 2 Acc 3 Recharge and 1 End.
