I think the types of map are fine, but they could do with more variation. More sorts of offices, more sorts of warehouses, more sorts of labs. Also, things like Museums, Malls, Sports Arenas, Bowling Alleys, Cinemas etc... There are lots of cool places superpowered fights can take place.
The good thing now about extra map types is that they get more bang for their development buck, as they not only add to Dev content, they also add to the MA. -

given their historic insistence that every power have a visual component, I doubt we'll be able to turn anything 'off'.
And I expect fairly stringent limitations on how inconspicuous we can make things.
Still, it'll be a lot of fun to mess around with.

Possibly. Though they might well allow it, because the player is actively choosing to get no visual feedback from the power.
I'm also gonna take a guess and say that PoCu won't work in PvP zones or the Arena. -

Yes for turning off completely, also yes for fixing (or allowing alternatives, so existing looks are still possible) so that dark colours show up well, so we can have black fire (both for auras and powers)
Also, I'd like to request at least 78.3% extra uberness, in all things. -
Maybe something weird, like...
An AoE damage patch (like Burn, iginte etc... but larger/more damage) that come with a larger non-damage radius effect that slows and randomly TPs enemies back into the centre.
Call it Event Horizon or somesuch -
Yeah, as far as we know the game can't do that.
What about a mass teleport foe AoE that lumps them all together and does big damage? -

We know willpower can make the person who has it more resistant to knockback , just because they are so determined that they can ignore it. If you taunt someone, you are making them determined to attack you, thus enabling them to resist knockback whilst they try to persue their goal. -

Not that I particuarly want this, I was just suggesting an alteration to the original suggestion that might be more palatable to the playstyles of more people.
