Seeing as I completly forgot the last 2x weekend I've marked this one on every calander. Nothing like logging in Sunday night to 2xp and going "CRAP DAMN CRAP I FORGOT DAMN"

Short 'says' in an RP situation are among the worst areas to look for great G&S. The media writes whole articles about how 'good' grammar is being slowly killed by email, text, and tweets, they should look at MMOS for a real shock. The RP environment doesn't encourage writing or spelling properly; to keep people engaged, a relatively quick response is required and does not encourage the multiple revisions needed by some to turn out grammatically great product. Although the process some of you take on simple 'says' does explain a lot. I mean some of you take a hour to say

"I'm pregnant"
"Whose the father?"
"You are <dun dun dah>"


I don't think these mmo speaks can be used as a judge for peoples intellect. Billions of bright, articulate, well educated, folks cannot spell on the fly. Their text messages are odd, they dash of quick Emails that are horrible, I myself get ahead of my hands and think words that somehow never make it to paper. I'm incapable of editing my own work (god knows how many reviews my dissertation went through), I just don't see the errors, so I tend to cut people a break on the mechanics. Ideas though? Quality? Total snob.

I'm holding out for GR....The one good thing that came out of my champions time is an urge to play a hero mastermind...........Entire new Jack Wolfe storyline is filling my head from that.

I can't even remember how long I ran Vista, then Vista ultimate 64...over 2 years, no issues. Currrently running 7 and it is spectacular...ok maybe just really good.

I'm not terribly bothered by the chance encounter with another of my characters, though the @uniqueglobal has caused me some confussion. I often get called Dr. or Doc even when I'm not playing as Jack because a lot of the players don't turn of the @uniqueglobal in chat. Gets right confusin' when I get tells or zone stuff saying "Doc wanna come play?" When I'm wearing EMMA's skin.

I aslo am not in love the game/enviroment so far. I enjoyed the beta testing I did, but now I'm a bit burned out and the ....culture around the game hasn't developed as I'd hoped.

Hey can I play Caios on CO? Couple other Angels I want to steal...we should fill a hat with names.

I have to admit, I like the quicker game play of CO and I'm gonna give the RP aspect time to develop, BUT I'm not sure it will. I'm not sure it has what it takes to be immersive.

I have to admit though I like Gadgeteer concept, I think we need to bring the mastermind over to hero side so I can remake Jack as Robotics/Dev Mastermind....or there is that whole evil thing....hmm.

At the same level? No I'm with you. Rikti should have better drops, or more exp. But hasnt' the generic nature of some of the attacks, defenses, exp, and HP been a issue the whole time. The way it works now a 33 minion is a 33 minion, changing that to the (what was the D&amp;D model 8 point die?) 5hd mob with a range of powers, attacks, and exp is probably not an easy task at this point.

Yeah, thats how I would look at them. Tough, hard to kill, but ultimatly unimportant to the final story cause they aren't the source of the problem. Easily replaced. Lots of comic book baddies have more powerful minions, or hire more powerful ones.

Now you can only take it so far because its a game, and they set up rules we all are used to and if Minions showed up with 3540 hps we'd all be pissed.

Leader is an ArchVillian Abomination is his minion, thats what minion means. Basically a low rent petty thug, who can become major villian, but still a minion.

Rhino is not smart enough to be anything but a minion in for the money, used to be Hulk class minion as strong as Abominatino

Gladator MIGHT be a boss, but mostly is a bootlicker to the throne so minion or LT cause he organizes the minions under him.

Mammoth is a big dumb jewel thief who goes 15 rounds with clark kent every now and then.

Its not about power its about role. Unfortantly, because this is a video game the "role" of the villian is has to indicate the powerlevel, and it ruins the flavor. But all these characters are definatlly minions. They used to try to show this with front loaded missions with weak bosses, but everyone whined.

Perfect the Brood and the Weaponers of Quard, and evil Kandorians. Clark keeps it a bottle for a reason.

Impressive, now we must turn our powers to midgating Invince, cause it needs to change for scrappers and tanks (thinking 90 is the new Def cap) and getting the SR guys some love. As a friend of mine says you know your out of ideas when one of your powers is Lucky. Couldn't they use airialist (sp)?

Like the new doors, and keys, you could add heavy items to move in mission space. You could also make non animate items easier for the SS guy to get through (I.E. make the doors on cells, or even in missions take more damage from SS guys.) Make us able to batter through locked doors. Then I'm a big fan of doubling the brawl damage of SS just make it clear we're strong.

Is anyone else getting weird tells. I spent about 20 minutes with a "newbie" tanker last night. He was asking all sorts of pointed questions about Super Strength. What I liked, what I didn't, how my primary worked with my secondary. What changes I'd like to see. Wanted to team for a while but I was on a full SuperGroup mission. I just wondered cause it was either an interview for Tanker and Squishie magazine or the newly famous name. Turn me into an NPC will they?
