Dude loads of things, I ain't an energy specialist by any means but here's some basics.

Attacks work well like this:

3 damage, 2 Recharge reductions 1 accuracy

Hover is way more useful than air superiority, fly gives you a to hit debuff, hover doesn't. That'll save you 1 slot as hover only needs 1 end red. you only need 1 rec red on rest too.

If you're into PvP then you want to slot your energy secondaries as they are awesome in the PvP zones, knockback is a pain to fight against so use it. Not sure you need hasten, so that might be better spent somewhere else.

Basically emphasise Damge with your primarys

Secondary effects on your secondaries.

If you're taking stamina then 3 slot it ASAP to get max recovery.

Combat jumping might suit you, it has better speed than fly, less end drain than TP and more versatility than super speed. Plus it gives you access to combat jumping and acrobatics which are both quite handy defensive powers.

I'm not, as I say energy energy, but I know a few who are...

Oh yeah, and get single origin enhancements in there ASAP.

There's been some request to us merging with the SNHS, whilst I understand this I am not overly keen on the idea.

So Ranking suggestions, if we're going with the greek lets stick with that if we're goin with science lets stick with that. Personally I prefer:

Alpha.
Beta.
Gamma.
Delta.
Epsilon.

Cause that ties in with my love of ancient greece and with the "everyone is as important as eachother" feel that I want this group to have.

The Alpha or the first citizens will be those with the highest prestige earnings, this gives you the right to build the base.

The other ranks are all equal and the titles a sign of contibution to the group so we will need to work out a level thing done by the prestige earned by members, that way those who are most active will be those who gain esteem in the group. This is only a rough guide but imagine it like this:

Alpha: 150001 Prestige (technically I am not an Alpha, I only am due to founding the group.)

Beta: 100001 - 150000

Gamma: 75001 - 100000

Delta: 50001 - 75000

Epislon: 0 - 50000

Base building (the main privalege) will be done on an Alpha basis, where there will be a vote between alphas what to purchase, then it will be taken in turns to create rooms.

We need to agree on a theme for the base though? I would like to aim for a Japanese/tech feel in the RadRangers base. Tranquility meets science.

Firstly we need a power room, then a control room, then a workshop, then med centre, then teleporter. Any alternates to this plan then please post them up here. (this is from having build the Rangers base.)

It doesn't matter if everyone becomes alphas, in fact that would be cool, but we need some structure in the democracy.

What do people think of this plan?

After writting this I don't know how we would fit in with the SNHS....

Well, I'm not sure about Rad/SNHS merger, sorry folks, I get where your coming from but the Rads are designed to be something else. Also it would make confusion with the ethos of the Rads in that anyone can invite, edit message of the day and stuff and it being a purely forumite SG... it also effects where stories will appear in the future. However I understand that the SNHS is still relatively small and there is room for the 20 odd rad rangers and that Rankings need to be sorted out. The RadRangers are the RadRangers BECASUE of their blaster like abilities, and I think that most people accept that Rad/Rad is a very different build to anything else out there in the defender pools, thats the difference between the SNHS and the Rads I think, but at the same time the purist in me likes the idea of the 6ATs being in coalition, with a couple of others involved. So I think what I'm trying to say is lets think about it for a bit. What do other Rad Rangers think? If the SNHS was able to rearrange its ranking then it might work like this:

1. SNHS Bosses
2. Rad Rangers Bosses (same privaleges, leader is senior SLs?)
3. SNHS Members
4. Rad Rangers
5. Other people...

Us merging with the SNHS would bolster the numbers of the SG, make it more prestige earning (although we would loose out 300k ) and free up coalition slots in the rangers.

What do people think?

EDIT: Having just posted a manifesto on the RadRanger thread of how I envisage the group evolving I don't know if a merger between these 2 illustrious SGs would work... but a coalition is definitely a go-er.

Right people I need some help... this SG has flourished very quickly and we need to sustain the momentum and the fun. We need to get a few things sorted.

Ranks. Someone give me some ideas on
1. what to call them.
2. how to give them.
As everyone knows I am somewhat involved in the Rangers which takes a lot of my time!

So, is this a vision for the Coaltion players (especailly referring to the 1ATs.) We remove the Alt Rangers and create an SG called the alternates (if it exists) which people can use to put addtional toons in if they want. YOu have to have someone in the coalition though. Theoretically every one should be able to have an alt in every group and may even be able to have extras in every SG too (the rangers are a bit crowded but once people hit 30 days out then they get kicked) so if anyone wants to keep their alt rangers then see if we can get them into the Rangers. DK has an alt in their so others can too.

I need to form a coalition with the other 1ATs for the RadRangers. We have the Rangers but not the other groups.
