You exit the sewer quickly after the pylons are gone, then assemble at the bottom or middle of the large staircase with the drones laying deactivated above at the top.Groups will spawn, then big robots, then more groups, then more robots, etc.
About 3 defined waves of the big EBs.The trick is AoEs, especially mass confuse, hypnosis, terrify, etc. Anything that can halt the small mobs so you have time to wipe them while also delaing with the EBs. A tank is great for taunting the EBs away from the stairs. Recall is great for retrieving team members who have ot go hosp and come back.
Easiest way to lose this badge is when some robots spawn from behind you, and instead of letting them run down the stairs you accidentally aggro them while they're still standing on top of the drones. The orbital laser, if fired on the drones, will destroy them. You must never be standing anywhere near the drones while fighting the EBs, becuase this risks a laser on their heads.
Obviously there's a degree of luck with this badge, but you just generally need to keep an eye on every single enemy that spawns and try to keep them either on the stairs or the road below. The normal mobs WILL try to hurt the drones unless you grab their aggro or mezz them fast.
On my run we had two mind/ Doms (me and another). We laid down carpets of Mass confuse and Terrify that pretty much halted everything in its tracks. It was scary when two EBs appeared right on top of the drones but we pulled them down to the road so that was fine. One of the sleeping drones took one big hit for about 500 damage, but that was the only single attack I think the clockwork managed to get on the drones. -
Thanks so much so the tip, Leandro.
I just ran this with friends. We had 5 HVAS, 6 Shivans, 4 Bio nukes and about 3 Chem nukes.
We melted Director 11's stupid stupid face and all got the dodger badge
A couple of hours earlier I go the drone badge too while leading a perfect Apex Master run, so now I'm ll depressed again with no more I19 badges to collect, sad me -
Started with an Apex Master Run as practice, nabbed the drone badge and got that with everyone on team receiving Master since we got everything in one run!
Then on to the main event. Team was Sov, Ash, Cutlass, Denizen, Bears, Synch, Wrath of Prometheus and me. We had 5 HVAS, 6 Shivans, 4 Bio nukes and about 3 Chem nukes.
We melted Director 11's stupid stupid face and all got the dodger badge
Thanks everyone it was awesome -
Oh I did once, but at the moment I still have enough alts needing LGTF/ITFs that I can avoid BSFs and LRSFs. At some point I'll need to start more BSFs. The point though is that Kahn is easier, so most people with the option are going for that instead of Cuda.
-
ITF yes. But then most people have been running 3-4 a night, so no surprise there.
Sadly most of my alts are villains so can't do the STF. There aren't many LRSFs or BSFs running either. -
Who wants to take a serious shot at this badge tonight? I'd like to put together a team of badgers to focus on guaranteeing this badge using 'ole cheap and cheerful tactics.
I was thinking a core group of 4-6 people start at 5pm tonight, grab a Bio and Chem nuke, a set of Shivans and an HVAS each, then at around 6-7pm we put together a full team (all equipped with Fly or temp Jetpacks) and grab the badge.
Tactics would be the proven approach, where we solve the problem of dodging the bombs by simply destroying Director 11 before his invisible friends have time to plant any mines. Characters with force bubble, veng and immob/fear AoEs would be a bonus but essentially the tactic is to spike the AV so fast that the badge isn't even an issue.
I'm happy to delay this to Tuesday or Thursday if people need more time, but will try tonight. Also happy to do multiple runs.
So, if you have a badge hunter who still hasn't earned the badge, has enough VMerits for a HVAS and can grab nukes/shivs today then you're welcome to join -
Wow, so does this affect maps like the Freakshow, Tattoo Parlour, and clockwork HQ? That sucks.
What about the low level warehouse in Mercy with the Contaminated? -
We need a guide for the police drones badge. When I did Apex it looked like the drones were already wiped.
-
I thought the final mission of the villain arc was ridiculously tedious, but then when I was suddenly attacked by a Task force team and realised that I was in fact now the NPC AV, everything was awesome once again
The final battle of the Hero arc was marred by the fact that I was trying to hurry up so I could retry the Non One Left Behind badge. I would have enjoyed it much more if that wasn't the case. Even so, when the Zeus arrived I laughed, then I said "eep" when I realised it was an EB and my level 29 psychic attacks were doing about 5 damage to it
Stoopid robots. Is it me or did the Castello guy jump into the robot as if it was a mecha, like in Avatar/District 9/Matrix/etc? I wasn't sure if it was supposed to be a totally different enemy or the same guy. -
Quote:Hi, thanks Placta. I changed the original post to addd in the corrections - I was bored at work typing from memory so wasn't quite right on a few thingsGreat guide. It took me five tries to get the badge, and I never had the presence of mind to try to force a mission reset if it looked like I was going to fail, so I had to reset the whole arc. At this point, I'm thoroughly sick of this arc and never want to see it again.
Some additions/corrections:
"Bad People, Good Intentions" is the name of the arc under Ouroboros.
The No One Left Behind mission is mission #5 (#3 and #4 trigger from the same briefing).
The boss is on the third floor, and the rogue PPD are on floors four and five.
If you do rescue him, you'll have to escort him all the way to the mission entrance, all the way on the first floor. It may be possible to rescue him and all the fallen cops, but I never managed it. I'd advise either going for the badge or trying to complete the mission.
Also, sometimes there's a cop lying behind the prisoner and his guards, so you may want stealth if you don't want to fight.
You just need to click them. "Get out of here!" is just flavor, you can close the dialogue window with the X in the corner and still get credit. -
Quote:Maybe I just did 91+% of the damage, tee heeI duo'ed the Neutropolis event this morning with Dollmistress, and did not received the option for the badge at the end (just DO, Inf, or Insp). It was only the two of us, so it seemed strange to not have been given the option to select the badge.
On my second run (solo), I was granted the badge option.
Gremlins in the system, I suspect.
(joke!). -
There are currently nine badges that aren't rewarding for Primals at the moment.
- The three morality badges for Primals, since there's no way to flashback to the Praetoria story arcs yet.
- The Praetoria tutorial badge (Avid Reader). Not sure if this will ever be available to Primals, but I hope so.
- The "Praetorian Tourist" badge, which isn't available to anyone.
- The four "morality reinforcement" badges, which aren't awarding for anyone yet.
I suppose you can also count the respec badges, since only a lucky few have been able to earn the badges of both sides due to never having used their respecs (lucky!!) -
This can be a pretty tough badge. I failed twice simply due to confusion and stressing so here's a quick guide to help others.
- Roy Cooling's arc is for Heroes/Vigilantes only and is in the 25-29 level range via Ouroboros, named "Bad People, Good Intentions". You can tell which one it is since Roy is a more advanced avatar than the older models.
- Roy takes you to Talos. Missions in the arc are all in Talos except for the finale.
- Roy sets you four fairly short missions before offering the special badge mission. It's the one in the large building with Rogue PPD enemies.
- There are three floors to the level at first, with the final boss at the "up" elevators on the third.
- Before you defeat the boss (Mr. Y), be sure to orientate yourself properly. This mission is all about using the new emergency stairwells. You won't be able to use elevators to move up any further than the third floor - instead you must use the large doors near to the elevators.
- Once you are confident that you know where the stairwell door nearest to the boss is, you can defeat him. After he's dead, immediately run and click on the stairs to reach the fourth floor.
- Okay, now you have 12 cops to find on two floors (the fourth and fifth) in five minutes. Both floors are essentially a four-way junction, like a "+" shape. When you arrive on the fourth floor, the first thing to do is make sure you know where you are starting from - remember where you parked.
- The next thing to do is forget about elevators. Completely. Switch off your instinct that you will need to find elevators to get to the fourth floor. Instead, simply take about 1 full minute to systematically check all of the four branches of the floor (like 15-20 seconds each).
- The fire will act like a path for you to follow. The unconscious cops are strewn about on the floor near any place where the fire burns. Don't rush yourself, just walk the four corridors at regular speed. Check the small side rooms but don't worry so much about the areas behind glass doors (I've never seen a cop laying there).
- Remember that certain generic rooms have balcony areas above you!
- Once you've checked the floor, follow the fire and it will show you a clear path to the stairwell door leading to the fifth floor.
- When you reach the top floor, once again take careful note of where you started and perform another systematic search.
- IMPORTANT: the main captive objective is up the stairs in the generic office "final boss" area. You'll know which room I mean when you see it. It's the one where you enter with a staircase side-on and a glass upper wall facing you, that always has 1 NPC group on the ground and a second up the stairs and around behind the glass.
- DO go up the stairs to see if one of the 12 cops is up there, but DO NOT go around behind the wall to face the final enemies and the main objective. The main captive is VERY low level and if he is hit once by the enemies by an AoE grenade he will die and the mission will fail instantly. Also, you do not need to rescue the main captive at all. Saving him has no effect on the badge or the story arc.
- Once you've checked the final area but stayed away from the main captive, plus checked the three other branches of the top floor, you should have rescued your 12 cops and collected the badge.
- Cop positions are random, as far as I can tell. Once I had 5 in a single room but on another attempt there were only two. The hardest cops to find are the ones in the corridors. There are usually two laying in the elevator area on the fourth floor.
- You need to click each cop to rescue them (there's no need to click the "get out of here" dialogue option, they vanish without doing that).
- Time will always be a huge source of stress. You have five minutes to find the 12 cops and usually it takes almost 2 minutes to check the fourth floor alone. You don't usually have time to double-back and re-check the third floor. Also, don't be surprised if you end up with 11 rescued but can't find the last cop - he might be up the stairs near to the final enemies and captive.
- Personally I found it easiest to do North, East, then South on the final floor. South had a lot to check whereas North and East were simple to check.
Anyways, hope some of that helps. Most people are going into the mission, spending the first 2 minutes of the timer panicking on the lower floors floors trying to find the cops and zone via the elevators, before finally noticing the special stairwell doors! -
Remember to do the event three times - first for the event badge, second fight the ghouls and get the tantrum emote reward plus the Escapee badge, then finally side with the ghouls and get the flex emote.
I love the tantrum emote -
Quote:You know that's *exactly* what I said to my team at work. It's like they will just devolve into cave-people and all fall into hopeless anarchy if the snow continues. I mentioned Canada and they gave me funny looks. Here in the UK so many people live off the state and are "solar powered" (i.e. appear in public simply to strut around shopping centres with no real business being there) that when proper snow arrives they all hide and whimper in corners.Snow shuts down the country Dolly? Don't let the Canadians see that.
It's like when dinosaurs become so specialised that any change in the ecosystem will certainly doom them. Lots of stuff taken for granted with people just following routines until scary Change arrives. -
Figured it out for myself, yay!
Once you get the second mission, go have a chat with Diviner Maros, near the Ferry.
For each mission now, he gives you an extra objective. Keep talking to him before entering each successive mission and when you get to the penultimate mission you can summon Maros to aid you by clicking the radio near the entrance. I made sure he didn't die in case that affected the badge, so not sure if he can die or not. I completed the mission (the one with the huge red rock) and was awarded both badges with one mission to spare.
So, Maros is the key. Or he was for me. Maybe it will be different for other peeps. -
Yeah I have no clue what this badge is about. I've done the Blood Coral arc. But...side contacts?
Who? Where? I don't see anybody. Is this a big secret because I can't find anything about this badge other than the generic sounding explanation that tells you nothing. -
Grabbing the new red and blue explore badges brought me up to 1,100. I then tried to hit 1,150 but was exhausted by the time and TFs it took to get my uncommon boost.
I will easily get as far as 1,170 tonight but the master badges for the new TFs and the rewards for the special Praetorian Ouroboros arcs may take a few days.
Ir0x0r beat me this time (for redside badgehunt racing), although it was academic since Herostats refused to record any of my badge earning last night and I was too busy to figure out why -
Quote:Hmm. Maybe weakened Hami and his Mito friends are dropping regular Hami quantities of shards? That makes the LGTF quite usefulI didn't get to play long. Only enough time for the arc and a non speed beat up everything you see LGTF. Got 12 shards from that. I crafted a GM with merits and coverted the shards for a spiritual. I have 5 sharts and 1 Hero 1 componet left.
Tonight, the plan is one ITF and I should be able to upgrade to the uncommon. That is if I get the type of shard drop I got from the LGTF last night. After that, ill look for an Apex and Tin Mage. Then its on to the next alt.
I was very surprised at how easy it was to accumulate shards. From the Beta chatter it sounded ike I'd maybe get a total of 1 or 2 last night, but in fact I got 20 from 5 TFs. -
Can't Stormy Wednesday be "Remiel Wednesday" ?
Alts have feelings too! -
There should be an account-wide "Hacked" badge for people who are affected by this
-
You know I always wondered why Silver Mantis just wipes the floor with me despite stacking Lucks. Now I know
-
....
....ugh.
I have a badge hangover...
Tabby was amazing! Mashalling the few slotted Incarnates into something vaguely reseembling a decent team and leading us through both the new TFs! I was content to just collect up all the new explore/history badges, but thanks to her I got my uncommon boost, tonnes of shineys and a whole mass of badges I never expected to get for at least a week from now!
But yeah. Now recovering -

I'm speechless. Seriously, I don't even know what to say to this. This is the craziest complaint I've seen in a long time. I almost can't believe that the OP is serious.
It's like when you really want to change your costume but don't want all the hassle of using the tailor. Or when you need to respec but then get ambushed by all that stupid power-choosing and re-slotting of enhancements.
It's not that hard to comprehe....
Wait. Now I'm confused
