Just thought i would let you all know (for sure) im going with an emp/ice mutant. you can probly guess who my origin is connected to....
[/ QUOTE ]
Nope, I got no clue. With that out of the way I would like to introduce the team to my newest creation.......Dr Phoenix a mutant fire/thermal controller. I will write his bio and post it soon
-
Happy B-Day guys. My son(turned 11) celebrated his on Saturday(feeling old just saying that
)
Yeah no rush for tonight then we can take a break if needed and pick back up next Tuesday, course I still be on doing something.......Posi..grumble,grumble.....Ouro missions..yeah, yeah.
-
Well from what you and Perdix have called dibs on, we have a defender, blaster and tank so far for round 2. I'm still waiting on my creation til I can get a feel for the rest of the team or if we're shorted in some more needed AT for the team.
-
Having a thought here, yes I know I shouldn't be doing that
. Now the plan is to tie in our new heroes to the existing team as a mentor kinda thing so I'm coming up with a few ideas on what I would like to run. I'm gonna throw them out here and see what leaps at the team for my next hero
Option 1 is a fire/thermal controller
Option 2 is an illusion/sonic controller(may switch sonic secondary to differemt one)
Option 3 elec/elec blaster(concept in mind)
Option 4 fire/ice blaster(think Richard from LFG)
Option 5 shade/PB just because
Option 6 dm/sr scrapper(scrapperlock in effect)
Now my preference is the controller options but I am up for anything listed depending on team needs for damage or control. Now I know we have time til second run but figure to get a feel for the new hero and create him ahead of time.

Yes on both counts. Mondays are extremely easy for me to get outta working
and also adding new members to get us to the 8 man carnage we love so much
-
Very nice, Light. K, for next week I picked up Battle Maiden's mission and dinged 47 in the process of closing out last mission. So next week we bring the pain to the old battle bag.
Doc M -
Yes it does. from what I'm hearing it's gonna make the game that much better. Create a series of missions put in a custom
rescue involving possible characters of the SG or a TF even -
The generic process is a wonderful thing. They first give you a new name "Generic 0496578", they then strip you of your costumes, single dark grey outfit with black gloves was all that I had left
. I was the victim of a drive by petition because someone felt that my name, Doc Midnight, too closely resembled Doctor Mid-Nite of the DC universe
. Now I do know of this hero and while the names are related in round about ways thats about it. Different costume, different power sets. Now I get where this is coming from and after a few hours to calm down and a couple of responses from the GM who handled it
(very professional, explained it out, resolved it for me). DC game coming out and such, I'm good with that, but the shock of coming into a generic guy that I've been playing as one variation or another for several years with the same name shook me
.
On to tonights team up, I will be exhibiting full blown scrapperlock to entertain the masses and work out aggression and I will be still helping the SG out therer Light after the round tonight, gonna dual box 2 toons in the group for ya to gain prestige and such with weekly Posi runs(Yes I know Perdix, I need help....lots and lots of it
Doc M -
A quick little update regarding my CoX time. After teaming with Perdix tonight with an alt and logging off for a bit, I relog and discover I have been generic'd
. I read an email i received and it stated I had an "IP Violation" huh? Something bout "I too closely resembled an existing property"
again I say huh!
I respond with my 3 choices and sit here waiting for it to fix so i can play him again but in the mean time, go to character creator and check name.....WTF my name is available. Make an alt camp the name....send email asking for clarification.
Here's the deal after 4 years of playing and going through all the changes both good and bad, the friends that have left I never once felt like leaving the game....until now. I have my account paid up til the end of the month but after that I'm not sure I'll be back so for the next 4 Tuesdays we gonna run it to the ground.
Doc M -
Can do, will take care of it after tuesday nights session
-
Back from my recent no internet move and ready to go. As for next run, I'm good with bout anything. Now my preferences would be controller(fire/thermal), warshade(I like the pain) or blaster(fire/fire).
-
Looks like I'll be missing this weeks events thanks to a recent move. My online was supposed to be set up but the bundle service we were going with wouldn't work at the new place so it will be another few days to a week before I'm up and running.
Doc M -
If you need a hand with this let me know, I can make a Beacon Hunting toon for ya and grind you out prestige for the SG with an alt since I seem to still be addicted to this game

K, got the arc for Countess Crey to the last mission. So when we get the team up and running Tuesday we can take down the boss lady herself(damn skeezbag). The mission should be at level 44 or it may bump to 45 when I level up before then, either way should be good xp's for us.
Doc M -
here's hoping my mapserving will be down to a minimum tonight
-
40 would be fine, no point going overboard, as long as we keep a 38-42 ratio we should be fine that way everyone gets XP and some will get a bigger haul of it. Omen is at 42 and so is IC so we should be fine as a team if others are closer to 38.
-
All good there, I know all too well about emergencies that come up. The Countess Arc may take multiple sessions to do but should be fun if the group wants as I also have PCK on deck and will be starting another contact to do their arc as well, so options are there.
-
IC (Perdix), Domi (Pliska) and myself ran for a bit with Domi hitting 40, Perdix getting to 41 and I hit 42. We have a choice for next week for the team. I have a lvl 40 Psychic Clockwork King(AV) mission or we can try and finish up the Countess Crey arc me and Perdix started at lvl 42ish. The final mission has us taking down the Countess(AV).
See everyone next Tuesday -
AV's are nice and I have Omen at 41 so I may have contacts already started just can't remember.....damn TF runs have killed my last brain cell.
Yep got Tina Mac's Psychic Clock King mish locked and loaded -
My work situation at work is usually pretty stable as I get to make my own schedule, only truly problem day ware friday-sunday and when they say train this new person. Now I will miss this next tuesday as well but should be good for next run on following tuesday.
Now as for AV missions they are fun and challenging and would love to tackle them with my dark scrapper but am open to whatever. As a 2nd run goes I'm game with whatever the team is down with -
Due to another interesting workload coming my way(boss is going on extended med leave......guess who's in charge now
), this Tuesday will be my last Tuesday til February.
Now most of us range from 35-39 I believe and with the holidays hitting last week's TF was NO GO due to family and such so we or in most part you, as I can show for 1, may want to try again this Tuesday, I'll tag along for what I can.
See everyone Tuesday or whenever I can get on after that January crazyness.
Doc M -
Cool, loved the story. Should have tomorrow night free with my dark little scrapper for a lil teamin.
-
Can do, got the day off for game time
.
-
It was a blast Light, the TF was fun and a bit more challenging in the beginning than I thought it would be but that made it more interesting. If you need an extra hand anytime, give me a shout my scrapper is in the level range of the team.
Doc M -
I can be there, yeah 2 games back in a row. Now can I keep the streak alive for next Tuesday.
