At a time like this, I would just make a run for one of the bridges to the other areas and warn people in the zone about the minions inside the building. The placement of the present seemed like a grief point to me with all the people that like to open them and then run off leaving the mobs. Not much we can do about it this year, but we can bug the devs to have it moved for next years event.

My lvl40 and lvl50 MA/SR scrappers went toe to toe with her several times without much trouble. It hurt bad when she hit, but she didn't hit very often.
My lvl50 Rad/Arch defender had to retreat to the top of the tower behind where she spawns and picked at her with my ranged attack. She spent most of the time climbing a tree trying to get to me and didn't attack very much. -

A good kin will respect that, but it also makes you a lesser player than one accepts/wants Speed Boost because you are missing out on the recharge and possibly end. Might not matter on your team or no one else will care or notice, but others might. You might get asked to fewer teams for that reason. Sorry, but that's life in the schoolyard.
It is fun to watch the team that kicked me make run after run back from the hospital while I'm making another run to the trainer though. -
And people wonder why I solo my Kin only. I love playing my Kin. I just have no need to play with people that can't live without their SB fix. I don't have a single toon that needs Speed Boost so the way I feel, other than a stone tank, anyone with a build that has to have it needs to be reworked. If by chance a friend talks me into a team and some guy starts whining that he needs SB after I already gave it to him, I will just leave the team. I play for fun and being treated as a buff bot is not fun. Don't like my opinion? Tough. It's my $15. Pay for my time and you can tell me how to to play.

The type of pictures you are talking about are called stereoscopic. They've been around for over 150 years and just like 'modern' 3D movies, they were called the future of photography. The fact that most people today have no idea what it is should tell you the fate of the 3d movies of today. Until there is a way to show 3D without the need for glasses or any other device that must be worn, 3D will remain a gimmick.
I wont even get into how writers and directors use it for cheap ooohs and ahhhhs in place of quality story telling. -
I had something like this happen to me, but the floaters were able to move. I was stuck watching them run all the way to the getaway point without being able to hit them. I failed the mission because of it.
*edit: It was the PI bank mission for me. -
I just list everything I don't want for 10 inf and anything that doesn't sell by the time I log in next goes to the nearest vendor.

Right now 3D is just a gimmick. This is not the first time we have gone though a 3D craze. We have one every 20 or so years. The 3D lovers always claim that people that don't like it have to suck it up and get used to it because 3D is the future, but that still hasn't happened. There is a large percentage of the population that have issues with the current type of 3D. Large enough that no movie will ever be 3D only. Until there is a 3D system that doesn't cause headaches, 3D will not be the standard.

I've had about 20 purples and I still haven't seen a respec drop on any of my toons.

I only have two 50s (and a 49) so I do plan on it for them. One is already unlocked and the others are waiting till I finish the first. I'm just not in any hurry to do it.

Be the team leader or have the team run your missions and you get mentoring credit.

I found her the other day. Lower level toons need to be careful because there are spawns not far behind her. If you can't fly, it may be best to run up the cliff in front of her rather than crossing the bridge and then running arcoss the island.

I was part of the group that was with D_R on Virtue. We took down 41 dropships in all and had a lot of fun doing it.

The slow animations bother some people. I have 3 toons with archery. I can't give any advice on what to do because I just build them however they feel right.

I'm not worring about it. What's one or two more respecs when I most likely will be having to do 25 or more already

I get something like this from time to time on a few of my new toons. For me it's just an extra power tray that has opened itself up. I just right click in the open area in the box and chose close.

The low for ultra mode is a bit lower than most realize. It depends on more than just the video card. I know people that are able to use it on a 9600GSO yet my 9800GTX+ is having trouble with it. The rest of my system is getting a bit too old to handle the game with ultra mode.

I ran into a weird bug that gave me tip missions while I was EXd down on a Hollows team. I was playing a lvl49 kin on a lvl8 team.

They are vet rewards, some are in booter packs and others are recipes. It depends on what ones you are looking for.

It's yet to happen to me, but I know others that it happens to all the time.

Am I the only one that expected launch day trouble? Yeah I would love to be able to make a new toon to try out the new area, but this happened when i17 came out too. Just think of this as an extended beta and it's not so bad. It will get fixed. We will get our slots back. We will be able to make new toons.

No, I don't see how this serves a useful purpose. It appears that the official solution is: get a second account.
And black characters on the default background is really hard to read. -
That would be nice. It could help the people who don't like to build bases. They could just talk to a base builder and get a pre-made starter base.

Just keep trying. That's about the only thing that is working. Rebooting doesn't do any good for this. Too many people are having this for it to be our computers (I tried my laptop too and it was doing the same thing.)

All greyed out for me too but freedom. Logged in to freedom and talked to my friends that are all still able to play on virtue and guardian. Not sure why I can't get on when they are playing without issue.
Update: Kept trying and each try would give me different servers as being up. After several trys I was able to get the server I wanted.
