Don't forget that the very computer you are typing on came from the technology that was needed for manned space flight.

I will be shocked if they ever do this. I remember a Dev saying that they didn't want people to move inf from one alt to another back when the email system was first added to the game. They were even trying to find ways to get the lvl50s to spend all the inf they were holding on to. That is why the Inf to prestige exchange rate is so high.

The last time I used my credit card to buy two of them on the same day (I was able to,) my credit card issuer called me to make sure there was no fraud going on. I switched to paypal after that.

I would love a filter that would auto-delete any email that had the GF website name (or anything I tell it to block) in it. Who cares if they send me an email after that. I wont see it.

It would be easier to just remove the AE building from Atlas and Galaxy. The farmers can run to KR and farm there if they want and new players will find out that there is more to the game than just AE.

P.S.To all those people who wish to ban farming, and then whine, complain, and resort to farming to level up like a couple of snake-in-the-grass hypocrites because they cant find teams to level up with, this one goes out to all you people....

Sorry, I do want the AE farming to be banned. I don't need to farm it to level up. I play the game as it was intended. When a friend asks me to join them on a farm, I turn off the XP so I don't level up. I've run into too many lvl50s that didn't know how to leave Atlas for me to think that AE farming is good for the game. At least when the farming was in PI people had to find their way to it. -
And keep in mind that they did away with the raiding path rules in base building. Now it's possible to build a base that can't be raided. I would call that a big clue to the fact that base raiding isn't coming back anytime soon.

It lasted less than a day on my computer. The updates took longer than my time playing before I gave up and logged into CoH.
-
If I can make it, I will be there. It was a blast last time.

I don't have the link handy, but if you google "Mantids CoH Emote Guide" you should find it. It might list the correct /e to the individual sitting emotes. Not 100% sure though.

Here you go -
Turning the entire CoX world into a PvP zone would kill the the game. Sorry to tell you this, but it would. Most of the players are not PvPers. It doesn't matter how many PvP zones they add, or how many fixes they do to PvP. Most of the player base will not like it.
I think a better idea would be to have it so an AE mission could have PvP in it. It could be fun if a team of heroes are working their way through a mission and unknown to them a group of villains come in to stop them. Think of it as sneaking into someones arena fight and joining in. -
I have very little hope that they will bring it back. They did away with the raid pathing for base building. It would be possible to build a base now that can't be raided because everything is behind walls. There is also the fact that the population of PvPers in the game is very small. They tried to make PvP better for more ATs, but that just angered the PvPers that were already there. From a business standpoint the money spent to develop new content would be better spent on the larger population that only play PvE.
-
That is why they added the terminals in Pocket D, but I think the main reason they don't do more to make it easy to PvP is because so few do it. They tried to make it easier for more ATs to have a chance and that just pissed people off.

If there was a way to get hero/villain accolades that involved PvP, I would be happy. I hate badging, its the biggest waste of time this game has to offer. But, I do it because I need those badges to get some of the really neat accolades.
[/ QUOTE ]
Personally I love the badges and think that PvP was the worst thing they have ever added to the game. I'm just glad that I don't have to do something I hate to get what I want. -
I got hit with it a little bit ago, so I would say the fix isn't ready yet.

It is possible that your power supply is starting to fail. If you are using the one that came with your computer (300watt), then you have been pushing it with the 9600. The 8500 lists that it requires a 300w power supply, but your output may have dropped to the stress it's been under. The power needs of a 7300gs are so low that I'm not surprised that you got that one to work

There may be a large number of people trying to download it right now. It just took me 5 minutes for the download to start.

I think the problem comes from the code they added so that people can be invited to MA missions after they have already started. That is they only thing different between a TF and MA missions. It a feature I would love to see them add to Ouroboros missions if they can get it working right.
-
It's a known issue. Always quit any MA missions before joining a TF.
-
It would be much better than the Intel graphics. You may want to think about spending a few more dollars and pick up one of the GeForce 9400 GTs
-
14 is the first mile stone point in the game. They cut it there so that people trying it out will get the thrill of hitting it and hopefully will buy the game to keep playing.

I have toons on all servers. I'm sure one of us can help you find the yellow line
Edit: Ah, good to know you made it. -
What part of the map are you on?
Map of Kings Row -
Yes. Now go get 'em. Let's hope for a good turnout. Fun all around.
