Guys//galx? The point is the thread should NOT have been deleted. Its Infinity hami history. I also want to say that whether you are pro Osha or notis of no consequence. The Osha Academy played a big part in Infinity hamidons. That is a fact that can't be denied. So love em or hate em but its all a done deal. The thread shouldnt have been purged.
Carry on people and someone make a new D R A M A thread.
Whoda thunk it, ?

Some Say that OSHA is arrogant. I'd agree, but has every right to be.
How many of you have successfully Led and completed a redside Hamidon raid?
[/ QUOTE ]
You're saying that accomplishments justify arrogance. What may or may not be justified is irrelevant. A person who has great accomplishments and is also humble is an extraordinary individual. Rare as hell, too.
In our society, wealth enables you to act like a jerk toward other people. It doesn't make it right and it doesn't make someone a good person if they act that way, but our society expects it and allows it. This is why wealthy people who are ALSO polite and friendly are noticed.
Please note, I'm not commenting on OSHA here. I'm just saying that the attitude of "accomplishments justify being arrogant" is a terrible one.

But if Accomplisment doesn't dictate Arrogance...
How does the United States Marine Corps justify it's ego?
[/ QUOTE ]
U.S.M.C justifies its ego because they are flatout badass. No offense but OSHA isnt in league with U.S.M.C.
No joke. My hubby is a 22year vet retired as a MasterGuns. I do know what makes U.S.M.C. tick. Spent more years than I care to count as a War widow and Battle maiden -
You all are so off topic. The fact that the Hami thread was purged is the issue. Not the D R A M A .That shouldn't have happenned. Either the Hami thread delete or the D R A M A. Ya know???

That build has the same damage buff as yours but more hp and more accuracy. I was trying to find the build where I split the purple ranged set for EVEN more HP but I think I deleted it. Shame too because if the proposed dom changes go through the build I deleted would be the one I would want. Anyway? I am not compairing that build to this build. I posted to give some ideas on io slotting for max benefit depending on whatever the players goal. I like doing builds. These days I like making builds more than playing
Also? Procs are a different animal. If a player focuses on say a fast recharge power and they can six slot it and fill 4 slots with a + hp and + damage global bonus then add 2 procs. The player benefits fromthe global bonuses and also the procs when they go off. The over 100% damage//acc//rech comes from slotting the appropriate io's to achieve that goal. In pvp no matter what anyone says a player shouldNEVER count on global buffs.... your chain needs to be solid %'s before global buffs.I am not good at explaining but I hope I did ok. -
Good luck with the weightloss . We are all rooting for all of you!!!
-
You should get rid of all the decimation sets and frankenslot devastations and procs in your ranged powers. Im not teh l33t, m3z but thats just a frakken given these days. I'm gonna post a grav//ice build in a sec . Its an old build and far from perfect but should give an idea of how to build for damage and hp.Your recharge is basically nothing any more with suppressions. Any build still needs to focus on good %'s in dam, acc, rech in the basic attack chain. Doesnt matter what prim//sec.

The largest differences in the two builds are the + acc and + hp bonuses . Hope this gives people ideas. Either on how NOT to build or how TO build. YMMV. As I said the power selections are poor for a pvp grav, however, the set choices I think are pretty good when frankenslotting for a max build.

I'm sooooo gonna name a elec//therm "Shawarma"!! Thank you for the inspiration!!

can I eat Teh Mini? Lookie theres a thread for all the Jabba the Hutt players:
http://boards.cityofheroes.com/showflat....;gonew=1#UNREAD
Soooo sweet!!! -
Well in all seriousness its sort of silly that the "Official Hami Raid" thread got purged. Especially when threads like this
http://boards.cityofheroes.com/showflat....=0#Post12120581
are not purged. I mean... there isnt a guide in that thread and it hasnt seen any activity since February yet it didnt get purged. Not to mention that the RSF is an 8 player occurrence and the Hami Raid is a 50+ player occurrence depending ont the turn out and if a Hive2 gets spawned.
All sentiment aside the Hami Thread had pertinent info and a history of Hami Raids for the server. You know?
Editing because I want to make it clear I am not dissing the linked thread I was simply using it as an example. Theres a few more on the forums similar to that one that arent purged . I am just on limited posting time and didnt have the time to link more. -

Considering the chatter in most groups I wouldn't want my child anywhere near any game. YMMV. My teens play as they feel the desire but isn't time with freeart or in a garden better spent with a 7 year old? To each their own but I simply cannot imagine the ops request.
No offense.
Edited to expand and try to not come off condescending. There are plenty of things for children to do to learn teamwork and responsibility that arent remotely related to gaming.I think its a good idea for children to learn skills in the "real" world before venturing into a virtual one. If she/he is already in a soccer team or involved in Scouts they are learning teamwork. If you take time to read a chapter of a book nightly she//he will learn to read better and also have better comprehension. Takes all of 15 minutes to cuddle up and read a chapter of "The Mouse and the Motorcycle", "Stuart Little" or "The Tale of Despereaux". That time spent with YOU will better benefit the young child than any group in a virtual world. Just my 2 cents. Again YMMV.
Good luck finding that group if thats the goal!
The JunieB. series is also great for the 7 year old age bracket.

The OP is pretty specific in looking for an SG. If they wanted someone to offer unsolicited parenting advice, I'm sure they'd visit www.busybody.that.cant.mind.their.own.business.and .knows.how.to.raise.YOUR.child.com

So? You reccommend which SG for the Ops 7 year old? -

I'm getting an average of 1 drop per 70 kills using a fire//psi dom(killer)and a elec//kin(corr) killee. If I hit a dry spell I bring in a defender(killee) til I get a drop then back to the original setup. I do not know the reason why doing crossfaction seems to kickstart a more consistent droprate.Just posting my experiences.

Thanks, M3z. I much enjoyed this vid as well as others you posted in the past.

Great job on another Guardian threadjack. Wheres the [censored] cookies and cake?

.....WHA???
Get a grip , dude. Perma 42 is ALOT better xp. Since when did using the "no xp" feature turn into an "exploit"?Last I read its "working as intended". You all are sooooooooo funny!! -
Play a different game for a bit. "Left for Dead" is fun and easy to spend a minimal amount of time but still get your gamer fix Very intense battles make for fast fixes timewise.
Another perk is there is no subfee.
Hmmm.... just dl Steam and play some of the demo's. That way you arent out cash for a new game or a subfee. If you do go the Steam route I have found that purchasing the games from Walmart or Gamestop is less expensive than purchasing online. L4D is priced at 39.99 on Steam but I picked up a copy at Walmart for 21.00.
You should get STEAM there are demo's and free play to occupy you if here is making a burnout. Take that break and get your fix too then come back when you are ready! -

No repeating ATs and you must stay on the same toon the entire event
[/ QUOTE ]
This is kind of confusing. If you only use one AT then you are repeating the same AT.
Is there going to a winner at each lvl group?
Most Events also have a prize, I don't see on listed.
I do like Sunday better than the Thursday that all other events were run on.
[/ QUOTE ]
Each team of 3 will fight at the 5 lvls listed in the flier. Like Cronic said above no team can have multiples of the same archetype. A reverse example : Tank, tank, tank vs. Dom,dom, dom is a no no.Once teams are set for the matches you will play that character throughout the whole event with your teammates at the levels listed.

Hold rom and break LOS. Tadaa... the issue isn't the dom in this case its the player. Besides once Rom is defeated the nictus all poof. You know that lil "target-------> Romulus<----- He needs a spankin!!"
The topic isnt a dominator issue as far as the current mechanic of the archetype. If any player doesnt know how to ttrget or break LOS in an ITF please do pm me. Rsf is a bit different depending on team compilation as far as strategies. I disagree with the Op's assertion that dominator's bring nothing compared to other archetypes to the 2 encounters cited.
