Thanks for taking the time to address a badge-hunter's concerns. Although I am still a little miffed that I have around 5000 brainstorms sitting on my badge hunter that I was waiting for a rainy day to convert, I can understand that it was too easy. Granted, I think that 10,000 crafts is a little high, so if your solution after datamining is to turn it down to 2500 crafts - something more realistic for new hunters (or people who want to run through this branching you're talking about) to attain, I am ok with that as well.
As it stands, I will continue to craft IOs for my alts using my main badge hunter(s) so that you are better able to realistically predict how we actually craft - without farming.

2 hours is perfectly acceptable to me. It'll help me find those missions that I just can't find the stupid door for, or for porting around in the Shard. All you'd need is 2-3 vets with the mission porter for a quick Doc Q anyway, just rotate usage and use assemble the team.
Anyone who thought that this was going to be an every mission or every other mission power must have been smoking something good. We already have the fastest travel of any MMO out there.
Besides, if you're part of a team, you still have to wait for everyone else to schlep around zones, sell recipes, etc, before you start anyway. Might as well take the scenic route. -

Going to answer this for both my SG (6 bases total), and for my personal (3 players) base.
SG:
Base Repricing
1) How will the repricing of bases affect you personally?
It won't, we already have enough prestige to do what we want to our bases.
2) Will you dismantle your base to gain the additional prestige from the repricing?
No.
3) How long would this process take you if you were to engage in this practice?
4-5 months of work for about 8-10 people.
4) What are the positive and negative concerns regarding repricing?
More prestige that we don't need (though smaller groups do), no easy way to get that prestige for our bases.
5) How will this feature affect you long term and short term?
Many of the architects will be selling/buying to try and get prestige, even though we don't actually need it. There is a perceived loss if the prestige is not recovered, and they will spend their time doing this basic task instead of having fun.
Base Salvage Exchange to Invention Salvage
1) What is the negative effect on your base for this feature implementation?
Currently we have salvage containers set up with free components that anyone in the SG can take to use the empowerment stations for free. With the removal of base salvage this option will go away and our members will not be able to gain these temp powers for free.
2) What is the positive effect on your base for this feature implementation?
None. I see no pros to this change.
3) How long will it take you to adjust to learning this new system?
Unsure, most of our items are crafted already - this would only be a curve for empowerment stations.
4) What side effects to this system do you currently see from transitioning the old to new system?
Members would drop off their base salvage for free, so that other members could use it. Now they will no longer get this free salvage, and will not be able to donate it. No member will be asked to donate invention salvage, so all members will be forced to pay influence for salvage to use the Empowerment stations, and architects will be forced to pay influence for salvage to craft items.
5) What security concerns do you have regarding this change?
None, we will likely not be using salvage containers after this change, the real estate would be put to better use for free enhancements or inspirations.

Likely will not bother to learn it.

Crafting a replacement teleporter will not be a free item. It is the only crafted item in my base. I will have to pay for the salvage; the base salvage that I received from drops would have created the replacement.

None, this is a personal SG
Additional Notes:
Is it possible to at least give us a prestige credit on the rooms in our base, even if nothing else is calculated? The rooms have the largest amount of prestige to gain from the sell/rebuy plan. It would save me hours and hours of work if I could just get the room cost refunded, as I don't think it's completely necessary to sell/buy all of the teeny decorative items (which are probably the reason why any script to refund is a huge hog). -

I'm just irritated that they keep calling Pain Dom villain Empathy. Though I suppose it's on their head when they release it and get an outcry from the Empaths that were expecting an awesome villain buffer.
Really. Empath players that have seen the power list say "Hey, it's missing three of the most important Empath buffs, this isn't Empathy, I'm not going to play it." Non-Empath players say "Hey, this set looks pretty cool. I always hated Empathy, but I'll try this out!"
Villains are *still* missing 3 buffs that heroes have. Those buffs may be overpowered, sure, but it's still not even.
Pain Dom is a fine set. Just stop calling it Villain Empathy, or the solution to Empath problems on villainside, or whatever. It's not.
Just come out and say "Villains will never receive Regen Aura because it is too overpowered, and we're eventually going to nerf it heroside, but until then, villains will get the short end of the stick."
How many times do we have to tell you that we don't want the heals in Empathy, we want the buffs. Empathy != healer -

There is absolutely no way to prove someone's age online. I don't blame vB at all for not wanting their name on something rated X that minors could be viewing. I wouldn't want my name anywhere near there. -

You actually get both options with VB. There's a little icon next to the thread name that if you click it will go to the newest unread. If you click on just the thread name you'll go to the first post. Remember. Little arrow button next to thread name goes to first unread
I say this because after using VB for 3 years, I finally found that stupid little button. -

Yup super snazzy features. You can upload a single image as your sig pic much like your avatar (unfortunately it's not dynamic, so can't use a CGT etc for it - maybe a plugin to change this so it can use a URL instead of uploading a single image?)
There's also a plugin to limit physical signature size - for example, the AA/JA forums have a 250 pixel limit on signature height; text or picture. Keeps people from having big annoying sig pictures (which I also very much hate). -

FYI, the "show all" feature is generally a huge lag inducer, especially on big threads. That's why it's generally disabled. -

I hope it'll be customized a bit more than the DR site is though. Of course my favorite part about the DR forums is that there's no flash banner. Stupid thing freezes up my remote desktop for a solid 10-15 seconds when I refresh the page.

I would bet that all 10 people that have empath would be just fine with fixing it to realistic proportions.
It does take 2 years on a daily farm to obtain...it's not possible to obtain it using normal methods, you know that, right?
Honestly, this is the most disheartening thing I've ever read from this set of devs.
You're not willing to fix your mistakes because there are a few OCD players around willing to farm for years to get badges that are obviously broken. I think the ones that are in the middle of getting the badges would be happy if they logged in one day and realized that they no longer would have to sit farming heals all day. Or farming damage all day. Or farming influence all day.
I'm an I3 Regen. I was broken. You fixed me. Didn't invalidate all of my experience because I happened to get to 50 using a broken scheme. PLed a few levels too, with a tank that herded up a whole bunch of freaks into a dumpster.
Ya fixed that. And now the new players don't have to deal with that broken aspect of the game, and the game is more fun for it.
Will you please make these badges more realistic so that us current badge hunters and new players that may want to badge hunt can have fun obtaining *all* of the badges?
Side note: Has anyone earned MLRSF since the Ouros portal fix? Didn't think so... -

That way lies madness.
Imagine the possible DOOM. One player steals a character from someone else's account to their own. Characters either lose or unfairly gain Veteran Rewards. Players buy old accounts and transfer their best characters to it, in order to gain the advanced Vet rewards. Players circumvent account bans. Players trade characters, but one of them cheats on the deal and the otheer gets a crappy character or less loot/cash than they bargained for.
Worst of all - far more players would be tempted to subscribe to PLing websites. Most people don't buy levels from websites because handing out their account password jeopardises any other characters they own on (and of course the account itself).
If the websites could PL their own characters, on their own accounts, to level 50 and THEN transfer those characters to anyone who paid enough cash...that would just be catastrophic. With renaming and server transfers now set up, there would be nothing to stop a rich kid buying instant level 50 toons, over and over, with no risk.

Eh? None of that can possibly happen if NC restricts the moving of characters to accounts that are under the same master account.
For example, I have 2 City of accounts under my master login. I can't sell one of those accounts because I'd have to then share my master login with another person who could then steal the other account - all they'd have to do is change the passwords. Oh, and then they can get a chunk of my credit card info, too.
Honestly, I think moving characters from account to account with the master account restriction is a great idea. Many people get their spouses/parents/kids involved by letting them try on their own account, but are then forced to reroll when they buy a second. -

If you understand it is your connection when you start dropping (like say resetting the cable modem fixes it), then realize you may hard drop and tell your friends you'll bow out rather than risk it (or at least discuss it with them to see what they want to do, maybe they think, given the team make up, they could brute force it even if you two do drop).
At least this way, their is your ability to control it. For an example, what if the Task Force was one with a 6 person minimum and you started it with 6. Under what's currently on live, you'd have no recourse and the team would be doing the mission with 4 people with spawns of 6. With the change, you can at least realize what is going on and preemptively quit and allow the spawn size to scale.

Lighthouse, these are all excuses that you're giving... pipe dreams. We aren't psychics, we can't predict things will go wrong. If we could, we wouldn't waste an hour on a TF. People would send us a tell "Hey, wanna do Citadel?" And we'd say "Sorry, I don't have the time."
You're basically saying that someone on a so-so connection should never run a TF so that they don't hinder their friends if they happen to drop out in the middle, and can't get back on.

6 people with DO's or IOs with clockwork spawning in spawns of 8.
*that's* the problem with this change.
Nevermind the fact that we're *going* to be doing TFs with PuGs, whether you intended it or not. All you need are 2-3 griefers who are smart enough to keep their mouths shut and just go "link dead" 1 hour into the TF. Nothing a leader can do.
Also, with this method, farmers can choose their spawn amount - 6 - for farming goodies.
I don't even understand why it went in... force groups, but now you can do all TFs with 2 people if you wanted. A good solo-artist can easily do 2 people on heroic.
Stop farming of recipes? Huh? I run Katie's a lot. It's *always* a full team, and the hardest part is killing Mary 10 times.
Keeping people from soft-loading MSTF and MLRSF? Why not set the minimum spawn size to 6 on those TFs, and only those TFs?
But hell, I'd rather have a "kick offline teammate" button. While you're at it, can we *please* be able to pass the star in TF mode? Sucks when the leader D/Cs and the next person's set to invincible and has no travel power... -
