Quote:Yeah, I've had people on the team go to redside Oreo by mistake before.I'm not convinced this was ever fixed as such - you stopped being autokicked if you went to a redside zone when on a TF or a blueside zone on a SF because they were accessible to all.
Oro and SG/VG bases are still faction specific which would explain why you get kicked zoning to one.
RWZ otoh is definitely odd - any issues with PD, Cim or Midnighters? -
Quote:Pretty sure it was made clear. I haven't seen them on the market or anything and I knew about it.Well this sucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Why did they not tell us when we bought enh enhancers. Now im stuck with ios that ar +5 and i can sell trade or mail!!!!
This is like a bait and switch.
Im sure this must be a bug! It has to be! Please this is awful. How could they do this to people. Now im stuck with ios woorth 100s of millions that im stuck with to sit in my tray forever.
I want my +'s back. I wouldnt have done this if i knew i could never move trade or sell them... -
Quote:Thanks and no idea, I just made that range up.Yes they do cap at the upper end of the set. So a 30 - 40 set would really go from 27 - 40 as it's effective level. Hmm, are there really any 30 - 40 sets? I thought the ones that ended before 50 all started lower than 30.
-
Are they effected by the set's upper level? So a 30-40 range will cap out at the same levels as the standard level 40 IO?

Quote:He's not talking about that, he's talking about someone who doesn't subscribe, but spends the same amount on points. You're reading it incorrectly, that's not what Z is saying at all. It was discovered some time ago that they couldn't front load the currencies received from the payment plans due to technical issues. The original intention before Freedom came out was to grant either Reward Tokens or Paragon Points akin to how many months you paid for (I can't recall which currency it was), but they were unable to do so. You're not getting less than someone who bought a year now, they get the points monthly just as you'll be doing.
-
Quote:Actually, I believe that all hell is saying that as he's paying for a 12 month subscription he has to wait 12 months to get all the points from that. Where as if he dropped to Premium and spent that money he would get the full lot of points at time of payment. There's a period of 10 days, not a period of months. You will get your points on the 11th of this month, then the 10th of next month, then the 9th of next month after that until your "points date" matches up to your bill date. Until then, you'll be a day ahead.
Again, where is this "months and months" nonsense coming from? You already said you don't care about your "points date" not matching your bill date, so as long as they come every month, what do you care? You are quite literally complaining of a week's delay. While that's unfortunate, it's hardly such a big deal.
As he says though, he has to weigh up whether that is worth it to him. It's not likely to change and in some cases, if you have tier 9 unlocked, I can see how it could be beneficial to drop to Premium. -
Yeah, If it worked as auto run straight away it wouldn't be too bad, but it takes 5 seconds to kick in, so for combat manoeuvring I either take short 4 second bursts or end up running through the mobs. I've bound the mouse wheel click to auto run which makes it easier for me.

Awesome, pure awesome. I hope they never fix that.

Would you not have the same issue with renaming too? You'd have to rename the original toon before you transfered the other one over. You may as well just delete it anyway.

I'm just getting into using the mouse to move my character. However, if I hold down both the mouse buttons it locks into run after 4 seconds or so, rather than stopping my character if I let go.
Is there any way to stop this? I've looked through the options and can't find anywhere to change this. -
Quote:Except, it's not really that big of an issue. It's a few day, which in the grand scheme of things is nothing really. Heck, I don't even know when my billing date is.This is a cut-and-dried customer service issue. There are neither mountains nor molehills being made here, nor even any recommendations about what Paragon Studios should do as far as compensation might go.
The indisputable fact, however, is that this is yet another problem directly related to CoH Freedom. Even if it's the last (if anyone wants to take that bet), Paragon has a compounded customer service problem on their hands. -
Quote:Really? A weeks delay is that big of a deal to you? You know they are coming, you even know when. They'll be a month apart near enough from the first date. This isn't an issue of patience, but one of customer service. It's further compounded by potentially missing out on sales for months to come. Again, it's a significant problem that there's no timetable or deadline for resolution.
While I've already posted there, this particular problem is also one in a series of difficulties with service that we've been experiencing. Bringing up this overarching issue there would just be derailing the thread. At some point, this is going to affect the playerbase's morale. It would be reassuring if Paragon could give an indication, or better still a good will gesture, that they appreciate this.
You really appear to be making a mountain out of a mole hill here. -

Yes, you'll get to retain access to the power sets and alignment system, plus access to the first 3 praetorian zones. However, he won't be able to use Demon Summoning unless he buys Masterminds from the store.
-
Plus, they are giving you free points each month, meaning you can 'unlock' those sets with them and get the sets for free.
-
Quote:And that, as I understand it, is the issue. Non-Weapon Sets don't have animations showing the weapon. So to do what you want they would have to do new the animations for every single set that can be paired with a weapon set to allow this to happen. My optimum solution would be providing each weapon set with a 0-end toggle unaffected by mez or anything, the toggles sole purpose would be drawing the weapon when first activated, then keeping the bloomin thing in your hand no matter what!
then atleast you can get the initial draw, and even putting it away for whatever reason you want too.
For example, one of the defence powers has a chest beat (rage maybe, or tough). Imagine this with dual blades.... -
Looked at the internals, 460w and has some of those plugs lying around. Looks like i'll spend some money tomorrow.
Quote:Thanks, I have a 64 bit machine, but I'll likely have to go with the 1gb based on price. RAM would be nice, it has 8, so can hold off for now. And yeah, I'm in the UK.Oh. One last thing. Take a look at the amount of memory on the thing too.
There are 550's sporting 1GB and 550's sporting 2GB.
If you're sticking with a 32-bit OS, you do NOT want a 2GB unit, as it will impinge (disastrously) on your system memory footprint.
If you're moving to 64-bit and/or upping system memory, it's your choice. The 2GB unit would give smoother framerates at higher resolutions.
Also, if you're looking to upgrade memory, the previous link is to memory guaranteed to work for your particular machine. You can chuck up to 16GB into your machine for a grand total of about $110 US.
If you're actually in the UK, use this link instead. The 8GB kits are £40 including VAT. So 16GB would run you about £80, shipped.
Thanks for all your help. -

Quote:Usually the differences are fairly minor.
Some of the EVGA ones are slightly factory overclocked. But, for the most part, a GTX550 Ti is a GTX550 Ti.
Just remember 2 things:
- Your power supply needs a 6-pin power connector for this (and should be over 400W).
- You'll need two expansion slots worth of space to install it. Even if the mount-plate is a single-slot.
eh? Damn, this is all confusing.
This is the base machine I have :HP Pavilion Elite HPE-163uk Desktop PC
I assume by expansion slot, you mean another PCI slot? It has 1 free and I'll be taking out the old video card so I guess thats OK. How do I check the size of the power supply? I have serious doubts it'll be big enough. -
All right, final question, hopefully:
Is there any difference between the box branding? As in ASUS or PNY or EVGA?
At the moment, the best I can find in my price range is a PNY GTX 550 TI. Is this going to be the same as an ASUS GTX 550 TI?
