I am newbie to game and i'd like some help about brute prim / secon

My gf decided to make fire/kin corrupt and i want to make a brute to duo as better as possible.Also we'd like to pvp end game (casual pvp not hardcore).

What kind of brute should i make?(for pve and a little casual pvp end game- teamed with fire/kin corrupt).

Is a better duo combo for corruptor X/X and brute X/X ??
