It's incredible how many are missing the opposition's point, I happen to agree with Snow Globe's post and know a great many (yes those who -got- the badge and those who did -not-) Found the experience highly frustrating and unfun. Be it lag, power issues, griefers what have you.

I also think anything that requires me (a flyer) to go and farm something is slightly askew. I really should not have to make up for not having SS/SJ for this to be a balanced gift...or oppurtunity. (Yes I know about the Zero G Pack and learning the slopes didnt make it more fun..just amazingly frustrating.)

and Lighthouse, no not every badge is for every player, I understand that. I just would've assumed a game wide event would be light and fun with a balanced field for all. Just isn't the case here for me and some I know. I do not pretend to speak for the masses just those small pockets I know :P So once more this is not a pitchfork rally cry to the mob:P

Be that as it may, I am not in hysterics and will continue to play the game...no dark threats or spaz outs :P

To those that enjoyed it, Im glad and congrads on the badgies! Hats off to you

To those that didnt enjoy it, I understand how frustrated you were and such.

The Templars of the Abbey is a roleplaying supergroup.
Formed shortly after the closing of the school facilities of N.P.I.
Build around the former staff and student Heroes the group is continuing with their primary goal. Though once they fought for justice and the rights of Mutants, the Templars now have expanded to include those rights of all Metahumans, regardless of background. In doing so they hope to set an example and use their special abilities for the greater good of all.

The Abbey a Metahuman Exclusive Club located in King's Row is currently the meeting place for the fledgling hero group, and they have decided the time is right to open up their membership. The Templars are accepting any and all heroes who are in decent standing with Hero Corps and the citizens of Paragon.

((The supergroup is just coming out of the transition of the change over from the New Porter Instituter and the Templars. Our origin, and our history have become the foundation for this new group of heroes in Paragon.. We're looking for like minded gamers and roleplayers who would be interested in joining and helping build a new future for this supergroup together.

We are IC in all channels save for those reserved for OOC, polite and respectful to each other, as well as Friendly and open to new ideas and SL's.

Now to be honest i am a bit frustrated and yes as an energy/energy blaster im used to death and Debt. and i understand the need to make the game more groupable

But i dont often play at peak hours nor do i get into Pling and such and im not a power gamer...but i had prechange been able to have a 50 50 chance against red bosses poping insp as i went...

Now this happens facing a blue..yellow maybe...OJ almost never and Reds forget it death sentance...usually a two shoter..

This is nuts...plain and simple. My SG has been awesome helping when asked byt im kinda tired of a asking for help when i was enjoying soloing and such. Im almost 39 and have only this char im kinda new. But even after hearing the changes were coming i spend each night paying off debt after debt at this level unless i streetsweep

a challenging and imaginative game has become tiring and frustrating. This is no longer fun. it borders on insane. I like my char and dont wish to change for one who can solo these.

If there are changes coming please bring them on. I do not wish to cancel but then i dont want a fun game to be as frustrating as work

Ranting actually but *sighs* is there any word on when these changes maybe coming about?
