Yeah, I really miss W00t Radio. I've been listening to SplitInfinty radio lately, it's not quite as good, but some of the shows and DJs are similar in spirit to those which used to be on W00t.

W00t had the benefit of being a 24/7 internet radio station, at least for me. I even found their pre-recorded sessions fairly entertaining. There a few SplitInfinity radio shows I just have to tune out for, not my tastes.

I link to think they're so enamored by the artwork they forget to read any of the text before sending out PMs.

I also suspect there is an influx of new generation players that are not quite as internet savvy. And no, this is not necessarily younger folks. Just look at the MyPage scares.

I just spent the last 15 minutes on the floor laughing over this exact issue. For the sake of commitment, I posted several of my New Year's Resolutions on my DeviantArt journal entry. One of the resolutions is to move within a 20 mile radius of where my girlfriend lives (hard to solidify a relationship when you're over 500 miles apart). Some one took that statement, the fact all the characters I play are female and came to the conclusion I was a female player. Out of curiosity, they sent me a PM asking if I was a lesbian.

I'm still working on a polite reply. (though that person will undoubtedly see this post )

The irony here is my art collection is too small to post on my own DA account. The links in my sig go the images posted on the individual artists account. I still get PMs asking about my art skills and how I learned to work in so many different mediums.

This has lead me to write up a polite reply so such PMs, linking all the artists who've done work for me. I hate having to reply with a canned, pre-formatted, response, but after typing it out 5 times I hope folks will forgive me.

Suggestion: The Bridal Top does not allow for color changes from rest of the top, it should. The matching skirt pieces do allow for this color adjustment.

Sorry, Azrhiaz, just haven't kept on PvP stuff, though I as aware of your committee.

Having reviewed, Fista's idea, I really think it would be more suited for PvPEC and recommend he contact you regarding assistance.

There is actually a separate player run committee geared for PvP events, though there is some overlap. If your idea is centered more on a PvP competition type event, they would be better suited for you.

PM me or Viv a brief description of your idea and we can tell ya if it would be better suited for them or if we can help.

Sorry I forgot the name of the PvP committee (yeah, I don't do much with PvP), but I can find out contact person for you and pass it along.

Try taking a screen shot while in the costume creator or tailor. This shot is kinda fuzzy and dark, particularly when looking for comments about such a dark costume.

Ok, basically I requested a "Bust Style" piece from Bokuman with some sort of Christmas theme I could use for the holidays. I waited to the last minute to commit to the commission leaving him with little time to get it done. Add in Bokuman getting sick, my traveling causing limited internet access and well you get the picture.

While I loved the first version he gave me, I was puzzled about the color choices he made. When I asked him about it, he confessed it was not what he intended, though IMHO still looks great. Anyways, he finally got all caught up and sent me the following THREE version. Ya gotta love Bokuman.

No one is questioning the talent, just our patience. Love their work, but when you're paying that much, all up front, just seems like an awfully long time to wait.

Here's some quick suggestions.

Storm Ransom 1 & 2

Option 1 is the simpler approach, though I think the "Strange" hair style better fits the over all luck. I find the close wrist sleeves disrupts the blast pattern, so I changed it to a more open cuff. I think the "Swirl" makes a great emblem, but you've gotta add more layers, hence I added some gray to it. Tied to carry over the idea to the boots, hence the circles. I think the plaid skirt by it's self clashes with the blast top, so I opted to make it a complete mini-dress.

Option 2 goes more for the layered look. I felt a touch of color would bring out layers, just a dull one, but any would do. Dropped the boots for a "Mary Jane with leggings" look, makes her seem younger IMHO. Here I kept the skirt but added a vest top for layering with the Blast top underneath.

When I have attempted to post web videos of my demos to Google Video/YouTube, the compression makes the video look like crap.

What do I need to do to my vids so the compressed product is somewhat decent? Would simply lowering the resolution do it?
