Quote:Most nifty.Hey Guys,
Just wanted to let you know that I am very excited to bring to you something that you have been asking for, for a long time...
By some small miracle I had some spare time in my schedule in this milestone. So rather than spend the day twiddling my thumbs, I have ported the following Costume Pieces over to female: -
I like the how the Victorian Aura is so close to the surface, but not big on the aura's look itself, however another kind of surface aura--*that* I can get into.
Combine the Rune aura with the surface look of the Victorian, and you've got a thing of beauty. Also, perhaps a few different kind of runes. -
I *think* it's -150 hp per, but not certain.

Quote:Dark Armor's Cloak of Darkness doesn't suppress, so your costume is subsumed while its on, and the stealth doesn't suppress in combat!(grabbing glowies still does) Granted, not a lot of folks have love for DA.Huh. Is that new?
I havent logged on my Brute in a bit, but I didnt think about it. He always used to be invisible-looking no matter what. I know because I run with the ghost aura and I always looked like a bipedal energy void surrounded by ghosts. My whole concept was built around it. Now, once I start attacking, I just look like a dude.
Dang. Not only did they kill my Ghost concept by making the taunt aura, but I dont remain looking like a Ghost anymore.
Oh well, its good for all the Street Justice players and TW players I guess. I'll just have to revamp my Concept and Costume a little.

Quote:+Rech was added to Entropic Aura(although it aggroes as a result; good or bad depending who you ask): +5% rech base, +3.5% per foe in area.Hows energy aura new? I heard/read it changed but whats made it better?
Energy Drain Now grants +Def per enemy drained, on top of the End you gain from it. +0.75% to def for the first drained, +0.375% for each past the first(These are enhanceable), it doesn't look like much, but somehow makes a HUGE difference.
Conserve Power transformed into Energize(like the Elec Armor verison, but different visual effect): Heal, +Regen.
I gave EA a third and final try with these changes, and it actually kicks some ***.
With Energy Drain, Weave and set bonuses, I actually could soft cap most typed def save Neg(about 40%) and Psi(about 15%). -
Energy Melee: Too much 'flash', only one AoE. The stun sounded great until the stunned foes stumbled out of melee range; I hate having to them chase down.
Kinetic Melee: The tier9 animation killed the set for me(I hand-wave-you-to-death!). The coolest animation is also the worst power: Repulsing torrent.
Stone Armor: Only tried it when Power customization hit, but Granite will(apparently) never get customization. Also having to really on -Fly, -Run powers for Mez protection? I don't like that. Also the armors are all weak outside Granite. The set needs some kind of Synergy system to make taking the other armors worth while.
Stalkers sets: They all get gutted to nerf AoE attacks into single target, and add their one trick circus of Assassin Stirke, Placate and Hide. (If Hide and Placate are standard for each stalker why aren't they inherent?) Even with the i22 update, I'm unlikely to play them. They're Scrappers that dropped out of Scrap-School.
Necromany: Zombie. vomit. no.
Spines: Completely grosses me out. I can't stand to be near characters that leave Quills on all the time. -
People were much shorter in the days of old. None were as huge as we can make our characters in this game.

Quote:If Dell gives 'really good' support, then the other must come to your house and break things. It's been my experience that Dell gives really good customer support compared to other manufacturers--the only one I'd say is better from personal experience would be Systemax.
My experience with Dell customer service was a ******* nightmare. Outsourced, barely spoke English, and was obviously reading from a script for everything I said(because they didn't understand what I was saying). Not once could they fix a problem. -
It appears the reward system is badly bugged. It's not consistent to any of the examples you've all given.

Yesterday I took a character I'd never taken on the SSA, and did parts one through three. For each part I took a Hero Merit(and was able to).
Today I took the same character to do parts four and five. For part Four, the Hero merit was locked out citing that I couldn't take it for a repeated run(despite not having done part four before), so I took 10 incarnate threads. Part five wouldn't allow the Hero Merit or threads; again citing the every 7 days rule and never having done part 5.
Why does it lock out rewards for episode you've never done one day, but allows it the day before? There doesn't appear to be any rhyme or reason why the rewards lock out. -
Quote:Definitely the same character.Make absolutely sure it's the same character. If it is, then send in a Customer Service ticket to get the Hero Merits due you and so they know this bug exists.
A friend of mine had a character logged out for 18 days, but the Hero Merits were locked out after part one. Threads also with part 2; the Astral for 3; the 4x merits for part 4. Part five, he just logged out the character with the fully locked out rewards table up. -

My 'main'? (hard to call a 'main toon' as I have so many)
Never with one that I would call a 'main toon'.
I came close with the release of Dual Blades and Willpower. My Kat/Reg almost became DB/Will, but I invested too much time and badging to do so.
I am coming close again with the DB/Will I did make with the immanent release of Staff Fighting. -
I hope for an Eagle-form travel power...
Dad! The guy from Labyrinth totally turned into an eagle!

The forums never "Remember Me" when checked. I always have to log in twice as the first always says I used the wrong password(and it isn't). Also, logging in doesn't bring me to the thread I was attempting to read/respond to, it brings me to the full forum list instead.

Quote:I assume that Malaise isn't counting in MoM either.Hi everyone,
For: I just wanted to let you know that we're aware that MoM is not currently counting for Dimensional Warder, and we're working on a fix. We will let you know more when the fix is implemented.
However, the Praetorian Invasion version of Mother Mayhem will not qualify for this badge. -
I hope this is something feasible as an alternate animation for other dark powers. It's often the fluffy, the tentacles or the fluffy tentacles that keep me away from dark sets.

Quote:He was sure he'd convince her this time as he had brought along a very special advocate - Max the super powered puppy, who he'd taught to speak!
Max indeed spoke, Rikti:Speak. He hoped the additional annoyance of "Squirrel: bark" and "Time: play?" might persuade her to move to safer grounds.

Truly a rare sighting: Since his removal from content; The Shadowhunter dreams of the days it was relevant, but laments that it never was more than a toy for players to exploit.

Quote:Ack! Feel better my Caption Champ brother! Thanks for doing a recap, even a minor one, while I'm afflicted with Vahzilok Wasting Disease.
Got a cold at Thanksgiving, got a nasty cold at Xmas that I'm still battling, and adopted a puppy in early November.
So I'm not sleeping as often as I ought to be and have managed to shed 11% of my bodyweight since August.
Of course there's still plenty of me left. I'm down to 299 pounds from a high of 330ish. -
Quote:That makes sense. He was there for the Fall of GC. Galaxy doesn't fall again and differently because he dies.I think we're going to go with the "The events of the Tutorial take place BEFORE SSA 1" and leave it as is. It's isolated from the rest of the game up until you leave so the timeline still works.
Interesting though, "i22: Death Incarnate" takes up new meaning with the death of this Incarnate. -
Quote:Sadly, I blanked on what questions to ask him. 'Lead engineer' made me think "He does hardware."We (Paragon) are not working on Blade and Soul.
As far as the subject matter of the Coffee Talks goes: We'll try, every week, to cover something that talks about City of Heroes; whether it be news about the game itself, getting to know a new member of the Paragon team, covering community events or whatever, we'll have something (This week was getting to know Rob, our new Lead Engineer).
Quote:And sometimes Tunnel Rat will say things she shouldn't.
Quote:All in all, we love doing Ustream. We love the interaction and we really enjoy that we get to dedicate a portion of our week to spending with our players in this format.
