No, Citizen, you are not having a stroke; it is just Ultra Mode...

Operating System (Vista, XP, OS X version): Windows XP Pro
User Client (Mac/PC/Linux): PC
Emote: cc dimension shift
Server: Test
Zone: Any
Character name: Bug Report
Time: 11:23-11:37 AM EST
Location: Any
Archetype: Defender
Critter Type: N/A
Level: 50
Bug Description: cc dimension shift doesn't animate when Maneuvers or Charged Armor(Epic) are active. Their animations are overriding the ccemote animation. The costume does change after a delay(the length of what the animation would have been). I have tested this with and without secondary mutation active. Also with Hover/Fly and without. -
It can be turned off at the tailor. Have you checked to see if it's set for No FX?

ccEnergyMorph & ccDimensionShift with Hover/Fly
Operating System (Vista, XP, OS X version):Windows XP Pro
User Client (Mac/PC/Linux):PC
Emote: ccenergymorph
Server:Test
Zone:N/A
Character name: Bug Report1
Time:09:24 PM EST
Location: N/A
Archetype: Defender
Critter Type:N/A
Level:50
Bug Description: Energy Morph & Dimension Shift used while flying do animate, but don't change the costume until addition delay(the length of the animation again). This might be related to the interferance cause by the looping animation from Secondary Mutations. -
Acute Senses Mutation

Emote: any
Server: Test
Zone: All
Character name: Cymmetri
Time: 9:12 PM EST
Location: Any
Archetype: Scrapper
Critter Type: N/A
Level: 50
Bug Description: Acute Senses isn't granting the bonus to Perception; at least it's not showing in Combat Attributes. -
I noticed there is only one face option with Organic Armor. Can there be an Organic Armor option for Detail 2, so it can be overlaid with any face?
-
The Organic Armor Wings do not appear as a wing option until The Costume Sets are used.

Quote:The animation loops every 8-10 seconds when the auto power refreshes. It is interrupting costume change emotes; the cc animation is canceled if used during the refresh. The costume will change after a delay, but not animate.I have the reverse: the animation plays but not the particle effect.
edit: i was incorrect, the animation AND the particle effect repeat endlessly. My mistake. The animation does not play if I have another animation occurring; it doesn't interrupt any other animation. -
Active Secondary Mutations appear to cancel the ccemote's animations. Only seen this with Heightened Speed so far(the mutation loops its animation every 8-10 seconds).
Acutes Senses also loops. I believe each of the auto powers granted will do so, but shouldn't as auto powers. -
Gotten "Heightened Speed" and another I forget the name of; it gave +Reg Endurence discount and mez resistance.

Subjective:
I like the organic armor except the female boots. I don't understand why all the special boots always have to have heels; particularly for 'organic' parts that could be part of the character's flesh. I really hoped there would be one for Monstrous option.
It might be that I cannot use Ultra Mode; Is Bioluminate supposed to, well, luminate? They shed no light at all. -
Subjective:
I love the new Dimension Shift ccemote. It's beautiful.
Rapid Boil...it looks like you sprout a few unmoving fungus, then change; I'm not sure what it's meant to be.
Energy Morph, I like but not the demon-crater that appears beneath you. It doesn't feel like it belongs, and would look great without it.
/e growl is wonderful. Cool concession for those wanting a character to move on all fours. -

Bug Description: The slash command for Energy Morph failed to change the costume, but locks out costume change for 30 seconds as though it had. dimensionshift and rapidboil work fine. -
Demons have the darnedest weakness: Energy/Neg/Psi. World of Pain helps mitigate this; slotting it with Res sets even more so. I also set up binds to target specific pets with Soothe.

Quote:It is indeed unintuitive. I learned the hard way slotting it into click as well. I'd really hoped the i17 change would have made the mez resist global as well. It's still a good IO, but must be auto/toggle to be worthwhile.OK, well thank you everyone, looks like I've wasted a couple million (mostly in rare salvage) on that one then. Now that I know what to look for, I hit the clicky (force of nature on my defender, if you care to know) and I get ~20% in the various mes resists for... 5-10 seconds...
Seems utterly unintuitive to me, why one half of the bonus would work one way, and the other half a completely different way (wish it would at least last longer). But I don't expect it to change any time soon; so the only thing left to figure out is if I feel like going through the hassle of a respec to recoup some of the cost, or just slotting over. Leaning towards the latter. -

Quote:Aegis's Mez resist changed in i17. It's a 'full' 20% instead of a bunch of 5%'s. It's grants an immediate 16.67% when the power it's slotted in is turned on. This was done because Aegis was improperly filling all 5 of the Rule of Five for 5% mez resistance.I have it slotted in my Charged Armor on my blaster, and the Psi resist is treated as a global (always on even if the power is not), but the Mez resist builds up over time when the power is turned on to a maximum of 25% reduction (81% mez duration).
(I have not tested the duration of the effect when used in a click power; I'll only even slot it in an Auto or a Toggle power.) -
You know, I have never seen Sonic Resonance coupled with anything but Sonic Blast. Sonic sometime gets a bad rap, because it doesn't Heal; it relies on preventing damage.
Sonic Cage and Sonic Repulsion get no love. Sonic Cage basically causes a foe to become intangible, which annoys teammates. Sonic Repulsion is mean to protect squishies from melee, but is end heavy and not terrible useful.
Despite that, it is a very good set. It's has a different shade of Force Field, and doesn't use unpopular KB.
That said, I think Sonic/Elec would work nice thematically; Thunder and Lightning. Redraw kinda kills synergy with DP, AR and Archery. I could see Sonic/Rad having some potential.
