I had my account canceled on me last night. I got an email that it had 'expired' wither due to payment failure or active cancellation. *I* didn't cancel it, and the card had not been charged(it was set to automatic payment).
I only managed to get it reactivated today, and had a hell of a time getting access back to the forums and NCsoft support.
I had purchased 5 character slots the day before the sudden cancellation. As far as I can figure, the store is locked out the payment after just using the same Credit Card. Why? Beats me. -
The market day job does not work in Praetoria . The Day Job Icon may appear in the Underground(it doesn't in Imperial due to Power Suppression), but you gain no progress towards the badge, nor any teleporter uses.

Quote:It's great isn't it?Many people miss a great proc for Demon Prince. Impeded Swiftness:Chance for Smashing damage. EVERY single attack from Demon Prince has a slow component, which means this proc checks for every attack he does, including his always on Chilling Embrace, as his AoE stuff like Shiver.

Inherent Fitness is just fantastic; it was on my top ten of "never gonna happen".
Since the announcement, I've seen quite a few threads about more enhancement slots for the new powers we'll able to choose in place of Fitness. I'm fine without new slots, I can deal with that. That said, the murmurs have gotten me thinking:
The Level 47 and 49 powers seldom have many slots allocated to them(especially the level 49 power). I wonder if it might be a feasible idea to grant four enhancement slots at level 48 and 50 instead of three. This could make the 47 & 49 a bit stronger, or allocated to the newer power picks(and without severely unbalancing the system).

Disagree. I find Stalkers the most useless PvE AT.
Try stealthing a mayhem mission sometime; see how long you last. -
Quote:I had suggested something like this long ago. Something that would be tied to Origin; much as every Archetype has an inherent. It seemed like a good idea...to me....I must say that when I found out about Stamina becoming inherent, rather than being happy about it I was somewhat dismayed. While on some builds it will be very nice for me, I have been working on a number of stamina-less characters and been having fun with it.
I would much rather see a new inherent that, while not full Stamina, gives +end recovery that makes Stamina less of a required power. I had actually thought very early on in CoH that it would be good to have an inherent power choice you make early on that would give you one of the following auto powers (unenhanceable):
- End recovery (like 20%)
- Regen (like 30%)
- Run speed (little less than sprint ~35%)
- Jump (like 50%)
- Resistance (5-10% maybe?)
- Defense (3%)
- Damage (10%)
- Mez Resistance (not mag resist, but time reduction)
- More?
The game falls with the masses. -

Gremlins are just awful. Weak as heck, and not all that different from Beta (no damage aura).
-
Something to keep in mind: We aren't getting any more enhancement slots to go with the extra powers. We're going to need to be more frugal with slots than ever.

I always take on toons that deals mostly Smashing/Lethal.
I may skip it on a toon that deals Energy damage(Ghosts' weakness). -

Quote:It only effects the duration of status effects; slow is a debuff effect.Does this IOs bonus of "20% resist to status effects" include resistance to slows? I was thinking of putting this into Temperature Protection if this IO could stack with the 20% slow resistance I'd get from picking Temp Protection.
If I can't stack slow resists in this way I'll call Temperature Protection and tell it not to hold it's breath. Still not adding it to my build come I19. -
The procs fire regardless of whether the component they are based on are present.
Example: Lockdown slotted in Suppressive fire. The proc fires even if using standard ammo(a stun effect instead of a hold).
The Achilles Proc will fire even if the -Def component isn't present. -
Very close to what I slot too.

Quote:Yarp.Castle posted to that effect on the PAX Tweets thread, probably find it in the dev digest.

Sure.

It will roll to proc on you when you summon it. Then, it will roll to proc on Lightning Storm itself whenever it attacks, but as Recharge has no effect on pets(pseudo or otherwise), nothing will happen.

Well, I suppose I meant A-merits versus inf cost on the market; merit costs to show the value of such recipes.

I've slotted my Jolting Chain for Endurance drain. However, I noticed the drain is only listed once, unlike the damage and KB. Does anyone know; is only the initial target drained of endurance, or every target?
