Echoing on that great shot and great bio, Oedipus. I like how he looks half creepy and half happy at the same time.

As of right now, I am unable to edit pages. It always gives me the following error:
Sorry! We could not process your edit due to a loss of session data. Please try again. If it still doesn't work, try logging out and logging back in.
So I'm wondering if there's something going on with the server... -
Quote:Now, all you have to worry about is having that pop-up message come up while you're trying to input a bid on WW/BM.I am very happy that this was changed. Now I don't have to worry about being drive-by buffed while shopping.
THANK YOU!!
And you KNOW how unstable WW/BM is right now.
To be quite honest, having that popup show up in the middle of making a bid is a bazillion times more annoying than having a drive-by buff. I'm busy shopping, damn it! -

And none of us should really be expecting the Devs to be fixing all the problems, big and small. They have other things they are working on. Things like, umm, oh, I dunno.... GOING ROGUE?!

Name: The Young Watchers
Recruiting? We're semi-recruiting. Generally, people find us because they need help.
RP-Level: RP-heavy
PvP? We leave PvP to parties involved if they'd like to play things out that way. We do not, of course, require it.
Theme/Concept: The Young Watchers is a halfway home for young people who just need a little help. Wanna be a good hero? Need help controlling your powers? Thrown out and need a place to stay? Want to belong to something bigger? This is the place for you. We tend to lean towards teenagers, but are open to young adults as well.
Activity: We have numerous people on mainly at night and we do a lot of RP. During weekends, it tends to be sporadic during the day but most are still on at night.
Requirements: We require that your character is between the ages of 15 and 25. We are open to bending around this rule, but nothing unreasonable. In-character wise, our group doesn't have the resources to tend to younger kids.
Leadership: Nigredo Fist, Rey Makaiau
In-Game Contact: @Azure Armitage, @Derek Storm
Out-of-Game Contact: AIM - Verdi Luminati, I can also be contacted here.
URL: http://theyoungwatchers.mmoguildsites.com
VV: http://www.virtueverse.com/index.php/The_Young_Watchers
Coalition(s): None yet, but we're always open for building coalitions. Preferrably, groups who focus on the same concepts that we do. -
Just so you know, I was in the middle of beating down pylons with a whole bunch of others for a MS raid when the server crashed. So I guess it didn't want us to take down the MS...

With the new patches that have come out, the only real problem I'm having is the huge lag in Wentworth's. Otherwise, I virtually have no problems playing the game.
-
Welcome to the game! We're glad you're enjoying your stay here! Been around for over a year and I have to say that I made the right decision migrating here too. From FF11.

The Gods of the Golden Age branch of SG's might be a good place to start. I don't know how difficult it is to get in it, but it may be something you want to look into.
Here's their VirtueVerse site: http://www.virtueverse.com/index.php...den_Age_Heroes
Also, All Star Sentinels of America is silver age-based, and may be something you'd also like to look into

I'm gonna try organizing a Rikti Mothership Raid tonight at approximately 10:30 pm EDT. Will be broadcasting in the zone and in the Virtue TF channel, and will be leading under the character, Nigredo Fist. I'd like to have at least 4 full teams before we start taking down the pylons.
Hope to see some of you there. -
If you're gonna have an in-character Dear Abby advice column type thing, I'd like to get in on that, too. If an audition is required, then I'd like to do that.
-
Rofl, how do you do that? :P

Quote:I did the same as you, putting in a /petition and now, it has been updated as a /bug. Sadly, I had already wasted 4 costume tokens to change what I-17 has reverted back...Tech Support has apparently upgraded my support request to the level of a bug report: I got the same canned message as you get with /bug when it passed to the latest person handling it. I've had responses from four different people at tech support, so it's gone up the ladder pretty quickly.
Hopefully whoever now has the hot potato is reading this thread. So, presuming that, I'd like to re-iterate that I can find no client-side issues. I can edit costumes with power customization and utilize them with no problems.
It appears to be nothing more or less than lost info in the server-side database.
What I fear is that the easy answer will be to issue free costume tokens. Having to use my Anniversary gift of free tokens on this is just adding insult to injury, and more tokens would simply remove the insult, not the injury. I would still lose hours of play time fixing things someone at NCSoft or PS broke.
At the very least, they should give us free costume tokens... -
Thanks for the prompt notice. I was wondering what the heck was going on before I panicked that the info I put there was forever lost. XD

I thought his first name was "Double" or "Two"?
-
Agreed. This was a very good guide, and thank you to whoever made it. Even made me think about the ways I do my RP. (Man, I forgot the name already, I'm sorry!)
Now, I'm fairly open-minded and quite tolerant for people who RP certain ways. Even in ways I don't like. (i.e. the use of *these things* instead of /e doing it this way, or using smilies like this [Name:] ) But arguing about the use of (( )) out of habit is really inane. Moreover, people who do (( )) this out of habit and accusing them of being jerkwads is even more inane and a stupid accusation to make when they're being completely innocent about it and mean no mal-intent. While I do try and establish what sort of text goes inside "Team:" when I'm ON a team, I will habitually do this (( )) then catch myself and stop doing it.
I reiterate Zander's post above. Though I will say that some of you have provided some really good insight. -
I have a SG that I want to get off the ground and get people joining so I would like to participate in this. If need be, I can help host the event should the other volunteers can't do it.
In any case, expect a new SG, The Legion of Venture, to be there. Global: @Azure Armitage -
Thing is, Pocket D's populous is slowly ever changing. The people that I used to RP with don't frequent that place as much anymore.
Still, its reputation precedes it. With the ERP and what not. -
Quote:This sounds like a very good idea. I can start compiling a list according to the entries in this thread according to their main theme and possibly start another thread for the list itself. You know what would be very cool? If someone could compile a list of RP SG's categorized by theme. Teen, female, vigilante, spy, psychic, basic coalition, etc.
So far, I see: OOC, Golden Age, Teen, Female only, Mutants only, Modern
Anything else? -
In game @Azure Armitage
I have two DPs that need leveling, mula, and fun so I'd be happy to join up! -
It looks like something funky is going on with it. One time, I'm getting a "Cannot connect to server", other times, it's telling me there's some sort of coding error with a whole bunch of text. So I'm not sure what exactly is going on....
