Rule of thumb, Fully IO'd toons w/purples and procs expect to pay 1.2 billion minimum and thats for heroes, prolly more vills -

A small aside but the reason the WP taunt aura is so poor is that it has taunt duration 1 second, ticks every 2 seconds, compared to inv/ice/stone/fire/dark which have taunt duration 13.5 seconds, ticks every 1 second. -
Im torn between trying DA/SS or DA/DM, SS for superior agro grabbing/holding and DM for the synergy of def and -tohit to increase survival as every mids build ive made looks a tad smooshy.

Nope that would be part of end drain resist, not energy dmg resist, although i think the former is the extra buff thats being added to resist energies -

Sadly don't have the passives yet as I plan to take them from 41 onwards with my Tanker (yes I have every other power besides the passives from Invincibility AND Tough to help max out my S/L resistance).
Still my Tanker is the only one I'm actively thinking of majorly IOing out.

Resistance wont shorten the damage, but it will shorten the length of time you are affected by the immobilise effect -

Tbh, you don't need to dip into the fighting pool on a spines/fire. Just with plasma and fire sheild on, you have a 70%-ish (With 3 res IOs) resistance to smashing, lethal and fire damage

A good stalker can kill a good blaster with or without emp buffs. If your just dependant on AS then that is your main problem.
Stalkers can also get super speed and combat jumping so what's your point? They can also phase and a few sets have a self heal so they can also phase and heal to full.
Thing is though, a stalker can hide and placate so a good proportion of the fight the blaster can't even see his target (plenty of time to recover). If the stalker stays hidden and moving the blaster will never be able to hit you, clear mind or no clear mind.
It still is possible to kill a blaster on a stalker..... Quite easily.

You obviously never tried to kill a good blaster as a meele toon.
AS has a long animation time and the target needs to stand still.
A good blaster will NEVER stand still but hopp around like crazy or fly.
For your meele attacks to actually hit you need to get close to the blaster first which is almost impossible if he/she is superspeeding and jumping around.
The blaster can fire the attacks from range while hopping around, with no need to be close to the target, the meele toon cant.
There is a reason 95% of all hero PvP players have blasters or spine scrappers cause ranged burst damg is king in PvP not meele damg.

Incorrect. The target does not need to stand still for an AS to work. I suggest you look up or even try this power before being so wrong and shaming yourself on a public forum.

Worse than that, the trial gave you no xp but you got a huge reward at the end( makes sense, just like a massive mission completion bonus), instead of only getting awarded this once, if you kept clicking the end contact you kept getting the bonus => click to 50 pl0x -
Although to tbe fair, the guy has a point. Suggesting that the badgers had too much of a lead on other badgers and had to be pegged back made quite a few of them annoyed.
It seems silly to me that the development team would try and alienate a potential gold-mine, PvPers have multiple accs, multiple subs = $$$/player non? -

If you want defense Superior invisibility is far.....Superior to Group invisibility. As far as I'm aware the defense from GI suppresses if you are seen and SI the defense stays on. Therefore putting any defense slots in GI is useless (unless you are going for sets)
Kicking and boxing won't make you a scrapper! You can put out enough damage with the other powers in the build to never use them ( perhaps better choices would be combat jumping and/or maneuvers to enhance defence)

If you can only run the same TF or Trial ONCE every 24 hours and get merrits for it, its gonna be totally unfair and gamebreaking for villains.
Heroes got like 2 times the trials and taskforces villains get , so heroes will be in a HUGE advantage getting merrits.
Villains cooldown on tf and trials must be cut in half to 12 h to get merrits in order to balance things.
