All I remember of the Spider Man newspaper comic was this one arc involving a guy who'd built a robotic gorilla suit and seemed to spend every waking moment firing a tommy-gun at it and espousing its many virtues (one of which was being bulletproof), out loud to no one in particular.

I'm hoping beyond hope that they're going to improve the set bonus display so that it's a bit more readable. Something like the list you see in Mid's when you click "View Active Sets".

Well, not every player actively reads the forums, where much of the information on the Alpha slot has been discussed in great detail. Not everyone wants to (or can) install the test server client, and some people just want to be surprised when the issue launches. The patch notes make everything pretty clear, but some people automatically think "tl;dr".
Things will improve over time. Much like the invention system was initially this esoteric, mind-boggling labyrinth of math and economics, it's now generally well understood by a good portion of the playerbase (well, except for the economics part). -
On the topic of Hami, there's anecdotal evidence that suggests that Hamidon raids are a good source of Incarnate shards.
EDIT: In light of today's raid, this appears to be true. I got 4 shards in addition to the 4 from defeating Hamidon. Some people got quite a few more. -
I got my Common boost after two ITFs and a LGTF. Mostly I just wanted the shards. I think I got 3 or 4 from each of the TFs.

Pretty sure they're gonna answer the age old question: Kirk or Picard?

I can see where the OP is coming from. I've got several characters that I want to unlock Incarnate abilities on, and that means doing that same arc over and over and over. Still, I'm glad there's an arc in the first place, one that does a good job (I think) of conveying what an Incarnate is and what makes your path different from the path taken by Statesman and Recluse.

There will be a Winter Event this year. Historically, it has started on or around December 15th and runs for around 3 weeks.

This is awesome. I'm finishing up a digital art class in which I learned the Deep Magics of Photoshop, so I'll be able to put my skills to the ultimate test: winning phat loot.

1.8 billion years ago there were naturally occurring nuclear fission reactors underground in Africa.

I leave for a few hours and this thread gets even better.

This thread has been the optimal blend of education and entertainment. 5 stars.

I do. I like to have all my bases covered. Plus there are some really nasty AoE attacks out there.

Quote:I figure that hunger is a mechanism for spreading the contagion. Since they're slower than a healthy human, a zombie can bite someone who then escapes and survives to let the contagion incubate. Perhaps that person won't know that their injury is fatal, or they'll know what it is and conceal it, hoping against hope that there's some sort of cure. It's rather insidious, as it uses human nature as a safeguard for ensuring incubation.I forgot who said it in this thread (or even if it was in this thread), but they probably don't need to eat, but it is the one over-riding desire left that governs them. Like how the Mom/Wife returned to the house in the Pilot and tried to get in. Something in this particular set of zombies in this universe drives them, whether or not they actually need to do it.
