I would like to put forward my Bots/traps build.
Trip Mine counts as melee if I drop it on someone's toe, right? -

Awesome work, as always.

Me.
At least Kaison Corp would provide health care to all heroes. -

Playing a 'shade can be a whole mess of things... but simple is never one of them.
Start with our guides, they'll get you on your feet. After that we'll be more than happy to help out with any questions you still have. -
There's essentially two ways to play a 'shade. Tri-form and all human. My guide is for Triforming, AlienOne's is for human forming. The link to his guide is very early in mine. Check them both out. They're both incredibly viable.

I go into all this stuff in my guide. Rather than repeat myself, I'll refer you to the green link in my signature.

Love the music selection. Pillar is one of my favorites, especially Fireproof.

Alright, now that I'm not posting from my phone there's a few things I'd like to say.
First, I would like to apologize for the apparent tone in my first posts. I intended nothing personal or insulting, but when I'm posting from my phone brevity often comes across as snippy. I did not mean to diminish at all from your accomplishment of surviving Kronos without trouble. That is a feat and there's no other way to put it.
I only meant to stay that there are plenty of things you can do to keep your teammates out of harms way and that I did not see you talking to any of those points. As the author of a tanking guide, I wanted to make sure that this stuff gets called out.
Again, in my guide, I mention that you can tank all the enemies in the game, but you cannot tank stupid. If you were doing all you could, then that's all I was trying to say you should do. I wasn't trying to accuse you of tanking poorly, and again I apologize for how I worded things. You hadn't spoken to the contrary, so I pictured you doing the standard 'tank' thing of punching the bad guy until your team takes him down. -
I think he should have said "i22 is coming" in that Stark voice. Not imminent.
-
Look, I'm just giving my opinion, as I have tanked Kronos, and I have kept squishies safe.
Justify it however you want. AoE can't hit your team if you stay away from them and keep enemy attention. Did you try to move away from your team? Attempt communicating that they should not be near you?
Every attack except the footstomp is targetted AoE. If the melee teammates are dying to that, your job becomes kiting. Footstomp will not be used if Kronos does not get close.
I know I wrote a guide on this stuff. At the end of the day, cannot save people from themselves, but you need to try. -

First, nice job, you survived Kronos.
Couple nitpicks: You are electric armor. You should be immune to end drain. If you needed power sink, it was because you burn more end than you recover. My DA tank did not have this issue with Kronos.
I don't believe you tanked Kronos. At least not particularly well. The mark of a good tank is how well his team survives. You have his aggro. Spin him, kite him, do what you have to do to keep the team safe. -
Quote:Heh, thanks for the shout out. Oh, by the way, I finally sat down and wrote that Dark Armor guide I've been talking about for ... years?Check out anything from Dechs Kaison on Dark Armor. He even puts up videos of the insane stuff he does using Dark Armor.
Red link in my sig. -
For what little it may be worth, my thoughts and prayers go to you and your family.

The Supermassive Black Hole, a guide to everything I know about Dark Armor.
There is a section specific to stalkers, but the entire guide is still helpful. -
The Supermassive Black Hole (otherwise known as, Everything I Know About Dark Armor)
The guide works for all archetypes, and brutes will certainly benefit from this. -
The Supermassive Black Hole (or, Everything I Know About Dark Armor)
It's not tanker specific, but it's certainly useful for tanks.
