Thanks again for the continued compliments, everyone.
Quote:Yeah, this is one of the things I hoped to bring out in my video. I'm glad it stood out.The forms really shine when exemped down and you've made great use of them, which isn't the least bit surprising.
I didn't. That's just Dark Astoria's northeast corner. -
Once I move the MFing Warshade (a carbon copy of Defying the Curse) to Freedom as a permanent home, I'll be joining this.

Quote:I used to feel exactly this. I've since respec'd my Warshade so that the Apocalypse set is in Shadow Blast for human form. The result is that my best ST damage will come from human form, and it's quite respectable. I just don't do much for AoE damage at that point, but that's the real beauty of my build: its flexibility....I hate feeling like I'm doing too low damage on AV's/GM for my League/Team.
The one thing I can't do (I'm pretty sure) is solo an AV without food. My flexibility came at a cost. I don't have Gravity Shield to fill in for Eclipse vs one target or defense to survive the AV in human form. My option becomes Eclipse + Dwarf to survive, but then I probably don't have the DPS to knock him out. Maybe with Degenerative, again, to be honest I just haven't tried.
Quote:Nova form can put out reasonable single target DPS for a Warshade
But no, Nova form is the worst option for ST DPS on a Warshade. -
I'll be honest. I don't expect my shade to ever solo an AV unless there is a constant stream of food. Or with Lore.
For that kind of thing, I just get my battleship. I mean my Bots/Traps. -
Check the green link in my signature. It covers just about everything a new MM should know, as well as going over the primary choices and their strengths.

So what you're saying is... something like this?

What I'll offer you is my Bots/Traps build to look at, and my standard fee if you want me to just make you something from scratch (Hey, you have 10 billion, what's it to you if you have to pay a few hundred million for the build?).
-
Hey guys, be careful, because I think they're looking into this.

Thanks for the compliments everyone.
Quote:Well, I had to do something to compete with your video. :P I can't touch your choreography so humor and clever situations is what I have to rely on. I'm slightly upset at the rendered quality, especially how dark the screen is in the first section. I can't seem to render it well enough but not be a six gig video I'm trying to upload.I find your humor in your guides and in your videos quite... well, humorous.
Heh, thanks. It was that song that gave me the character's name, so I thought it only fitting.
Quote:Long time Burn Notice fan (I mean Bruce Campbell, how can you not love it).
Absolutely.
Semantics.
I think you're forgetting how poorly enhancements scale to that level. It's not that much better than a few TOs. Where I really made out like a bandit, though, was the purple enhancements giving me 50% recharge all told. -
Yeah, Diggaroo, this is all your fault. You had to go and be awesome for everyone to see.
Well, here's my attempt at doing something cool. -
-
Did you guys voice these concerns in the beta? Or did they change the rates from beta to live?

I've heard that for every one of these topics they see, they intentionally delay release by a week.
Luckily I've only seen two so far this issue. -
Quote:Read my guide, The MFing Warshade. Yes, tri-forming it is very viable. Thanks for that info stone i will be sure and look over it and learn what i can.....another thing is human/dwarf form even viable if i decide to go that route?? and is there any cons too that sort of build ?

Quote:Spitballing here, but how about:Strangely, I've been thinking about this from the opposite direction. Specifically, creating a challenge arc that wasn't designed to throw everything possible in a single mission, but the reverse: have a set of five missions that were designed to represent what you normally see in the game, but at its maximum possible difficulty. Given the limits of the AE, I've been wondering what the best possible way of doing that is, given the five mission limit of an AE arc.
First mission: foes with very high resistance.
Second: foes with very high defense.
Third: foes that are mez immune.
Fourth: foes that have very high damage capability.
Fifth: foes with strong debuffs.
Make sure that each mission has varied damage types and resist/defense types. Sound like a decent start? -

I'm telling you guys, My Bots/traps.
AoE? Let the bots shoot things.
ST? Tell the bots to shoot one thing.
Range is easy. For melee, teamport in.
You'll have trouble finding a more survivable build thanks to several softcapped positions/types, a resistance shield and bodyguard mode. Aid Self and other, plus the bots are softcapped and I have mez protection.
I've got provoke to be the tank on the team and the full traps arsenal of buffs and debuffs. What more do you want? -
One of MY characters killing one of the Phalanx.
