can you bring back the crew cut hair style that was there before I6?...

Totally agrew the sentiments in this post. However, one thing I am concerned about is that I have been finding it harder now to find teams and I don't know if it is perception or misperception but it seems like there are less people playing; is there any way to substantiate this?
Again, I am not trying to flame or whatever, just that I am a die-hard fan, have 2 lvl 50's that I still like to play along with practically every type of alt ranging from the teens to the upper 30s and am concerned that for something which I consider so much fun, I won't have as large of a community to partner with anymore.
As an aside, did one of the 6-hour TFs last night in the Shadow Shard, and while it was fun playing with the team, the lack of uniqueness for the missions was a bit disappointing. After awhile, the "destroy leaders in the base camp" with turning off 4 computers simultaneously got really really old, especially after putting in so much time. So my one comment would be that if you want to make the game overall more fun, PLEASE work on the mission content; if I hadnt put in so many hours already in the TF, and, didn't want to leave my comrades in a bad position, I would have just quit it and went to bed earlier (as oppossed to 5:30AM this morning before going to work at 8am).
Thanks! -
I totally agree..upon 50, no one wants to do anything (or for that matter the mid-40s you are the brdidge)..can't tell you how often after I accept a team invite I am told not to fight but the tank will go and get xp for us, even when I was 1 level below the tank. At one point, I dropped off a team and the lead was incredulous like why wouldnt I want the xp?..weird... so to me, I look forward to almost anything that would enable play at 50

(smile).. perhaps I should have provided more context so that my post was not misunderstood. Specifically, I've been reading comics off and on for a long time; there was a period in the 90s where finally diversity was being embraced and to tell you the truth, if it was something that just came natural where comics/media without thinking just represented characters evenly I would never bring it up.
But if I look at the trend, we had: character Sentinel from Image comics who was the lead (90s) and who, as any hero character, was someone to look up to. Then, when this trend changed, they had some secret origin where he had altered time to not fulfill his destiny of poverty and crime and "stole" the technology and was thus easily discarded/discredited (stereotype). Sam Wilson, the Falcon, started out as an admirable character wanting to help his community but when the trend occurred, he became a street hustler (stereotype). Between that and the fact that most black characters are remake of original white characters (War Machine/Iron Man, Mr Terrific/Terry Sloan, Steel/Superman, etc) it just doesnt send a good message. Or, their origins are altered so that while Lucas Bishop initially appeared to be Black, they then moved him to be of an Australian aboriginal origin, Apocolypes originally appeared to be more of african/nubian origin, but in later Xmen cartoon (evolution), looked more caucasion.
Have their been improvements, yes, the Black Panther has resurfaced again and has an admirable set of qualities, Storm (though depicted sometimes as more caucasion/mixed vs. her original African representation), persists, and Bishop, recast as the venerable bald black man (Lex Luthor in JLU, Blade, Nick Fury (sort of samuel jackson lookalike); seemed that once capt sisko on DS9 went bald, so did all of the characters).
But, suffice to say, CoH I feel is very embracing of diversity and yes, I would love to just "let go" and would like nothing better, but where I thought we were making progress, it starts to slip again (perhaps after the OJ verdict.
But I won't bring this up again, just wanted to voice my opinion and sorry I caused so much concern... -
My main concern is that my worst fear has been realized. Similar to DC and Marvel, and with no offense intended to anyone, Top Cow basically removed any black character. So with Horus gone, no story arc with the Brawler, CoH comic is now just like the mainstream comics, devoid of anyone of African descent. So while playing the game is great in that it allows for diversity, the same cannot be said of the comic.
While it is free, I'll just be using it for fireplace fodder unless I see some changes...
And for what its worth, I thought the first story arc in the initial comic book held truer to the game. -
Hi,
I have a level 18 RAD/RAD, I can take your suggestions for the RAD part (and unfortunately, I have taken AID OTHER from Medicine already)..any recommendations under RAD that I can use that could emulate the Dark portion of your profile?
