This all depends on like Stalemate said, how many reps are available on a server. YES, PERC is trying to get more reps. But as of right now, not many are stepping up to the plate to join us and represent their server. Hence, why Toxic and I have came forth to help out. Like Stale also mentioned we try to have at least 3 reps plus an SSR on each server. This would be IDEAL but is definitely NOT the norm amongst all servers right now.

On my server we will be running 3 events this month and over the past year have developed many NEW event ideas. I totally agree with you about running new and different events. Mr & Ms. just happens to be our staple event that we cannot help but run once a year. Truthfully we leave it up to the local reps to develop events and run them on their servers. I run a ton of my own events on my own server and I do share the event ideas with the rest of the group but... at the end of the day it is up to those local reps to choose whether to use the idea or not. We simply do not have enough time to run every event across every server. This also leads into when we did the survey the results showed you all truly wanted to be individually catered and not all clumped together. Every server does have a different identity and flavor of people... as we have noticed from the Mr / Ms aftermaths.

We are working on solutions to the issues and we are going to be hopefully start recruiting new reps to join us so that by January we can be ready to run full steam and hopefully have a packed crowd on PERC. Bare with us and thanks for your suggestions and feedback.

Has your server ever done a player auction before???

We did one on Champion and it was a HUGE success. In fact it funded our events for the entire year! It was really cool and had a great response!

Normally... what we do for the auction is get people to volunteer 4 hours of their time to play with the person who has the winning bid on them. We also can get Mod08 and Avatea to volunteer two hours of their time and they usually go for A LOT of money. I also know KJSR DJ's usually volunteer a show to let the winner choose the theme and a four song block. It's really cool! This might be a great way to raise money for PERC so Toxic, Myself, and future reps (hopefully???) do not eat out their own pockets. Lemme know what you think?

Since you now have TWO reps looking out for you there should be absolutely no way that either Toxic or I forget to bump the event threads. Hopefully we will be fighting each other to bump stuff and remind you guys. YAY!!!

You are not alone. We did change it up a bit this year. But we did it to keep it fun and move at a much more comfortable pace. Years past have been way too long! The questions will still exist on the finals level. As always we are listening and valuing input / feedback given. As the game evolves so do our events. So we just gotta go with the flow!

Of interesting note... I do think we need to continue to focus on the "representing" part. How do we best find the two most optimal people to serve as Mr & Ms Champion? Ideas?

Agreed... 20 minutes is standard on our servers too. As far as I know this happened on time and on all servers for the Mr / Ms event, as did judging (judges were given 20 minutes to judge both groups). Thanks for the input from all of you. I think for the future the 20 minutes is a perfect amount of time and we will utilize your input to possibly devise some way to "start" the event right after that 20 minutes. We have a few ideas for how to make sure there's a cool little "kick-off" that takes place at the 20 minute mark that segways perfectly into judging. CHEERS!

Hey Arch... there is usually a sticky thread on each server where the rosters (just for local server reps) is listed. I do not see such in your server. I will consult Ice & MP and see what we can do about getting one posted.

Dead Man's Foot Race
Beginning in Atlas Park @ 11:00 pm EST

Details:
Join PERC in Atlas Park for a deadly race unlike any other. Terrifying Teams will form up in Atlas Park and be given dreadful details on how to murder and then transport one of their own fatefully destined teammates across multiple zones and to the frightening finish line. Along the way, they will meet some Putrefying PERC Reps who will give them riddles to solve and clues to help lead them to victory or doom. Full details will be given out LIVE at the event! So devise your teams now, plan your attack, and prepare to race. Gathering starts before the event and details will begin promptly at 11:00pm EST under the infamous Atlas Park Statue.

Prizes:
The Winning Team will receive: 100 Million INF per teammate
Other prizes will be given to those who participate

Rules:
-All teams must arrive on time ready to race.
-All teams must appoint a team leader to represent their team.
-All teams must appoint one teammate to act as the "dead" body for the race.
-The "Dead Body" MUST be level 5 or UNDER.
-The "Dead Body" must start the event ALIVE and will receive details by PERC Reps on how to make the body go dead and how to revive them per zone. SPECIFICS will be given at the actual event.
-It would be wise for Teammates to utilize Characters whom have teleport ally readily available. Teleporting powers are a must for transporting dead members across zones.
-All teams CANNOT use any form of Public Transportation for the race; hence the reason it is a "FOOT" race. Any use of Super Group Teleporters, Ouroboros Portals, Trains, Ferries, Rikti War Zone Zoning, etc. will result in automatic disqualification from the event.
-Play Safe, Play Fair. All teams must work together and display courtesy to all even leaders, representatives, and participants. Those who display forms of misbehavior or rudeness towards other will be ejected from the race.

Join StarFire at the Croatoa University Plaza, following the Dead Man's Foot Race, for more trivia to feed your zombified brains! StarFire will host another round of 25 trivia questions that are all dressed up to compliment the frightening festivities! Random amounts of INF will be given to those who answer most accurately. A final jeopardy will conclude the night as the four whom answer the most right duke it out for a mystery prize!

Fears & Phobias Costume Contest

CALLING ALL MONSTERS, GHOULS, & GOBLINS! It's time for another one of a kind costume contest. P.E.R.C. wants to celebrate the most frightening season in style. We want everyone to showcase their most frightful fears and phobias. Go deep inside your deepest fears and nightmares and conjure up the most terrorizing costume you can. So go beyond the arachnophobia and dig deep inside that night terror that wakes you up in a dead sweat!

Gathering Details:
Contestants are urged to gather in Croatoa by 12:00pm EST. Contestants will receive information on where to line up for judging from a P.E.R.C. representative.

Judging Details:
A panel of P.E.R.C. players will be compiled to judge this event. Judges will be voting on creativity, costume idea, costume choices, frightening features, and overall concept. All costume parts should be absolutely horrific and deemed appropriate for terrifying young children.

Prizes:
1st Place: 500 Million INF
2nd Place: 250 Million INF
3rd Place: 100 Million INF
Honorable Mentions: 50 Million INF

Rules:
-One Entry Per Global
-No late entries accepted.
-As this is a subjective contest, no member of P.E.R.C. will be permitted to compete.
-Customized Weapons are allowed. This includes shields, blades, guns, etc. Players are asked to only draw weapons however and not utilize power animations.
-Powers Usage is VERY limited: We understand that i16 has brought with it a variety of power customization opportunities however we have found that powers can effect other players unintentionally and can also diffuse attention away from other character components. We would prefer players limit their use of powers and utilize them for Aura purposes. Examples of powers allowed include but are not limited to Fire Shield, Rock Armor, Personal Force Field, and Invincibility. PLEASE do not overuse powers. So many times powers get used to the point that we cannot see the Character and Costume (this will kill your chances at winning).
-Be very careful in your power choices and avoid overusing multiple powers.
-Powers that effect other players will result in automatic disqualification from the event. Examples include but are not limited to Steamy Mist, Lightning Field, Hotfeet, and Shadowfall.
-Please contact a P.E.R.C. Representative if you have any questions about a specific power.

In celebration of Fright Fest, Fanged Knight (Invul/SS Tank) invites all those dreadfully creative writers to step forward and make a most atrocious attempt to create a biography that not only best represents himself but his vigilante concept, passion for all things dark, and his mysterious yet hairy past. Monster Mash

Details: After all the frightening festivities have concluded we will gather as many toons on the server (in Halloween attire, of course) to form up in Croatoa. Our plan is to run some impromptu events afterwords. We will start with a massive Monster Hunt lead by Fanged Knight. Kill Shot Prizes will be given out so make sure to stay with the pack while hunting. Following the hunt we will do some Trick or Treating, Banner Hunting, Zombie Invasions, Ghost Hunting, etc. as they happen.

I talked with several PROTECTORS last night. You guys are kinda like a subtle second home to me since I DJ on KJSR.net! I have got to know many of you well and had some great past experiences on that server! You are 100% correct on one huge account there. I FEEL VERY BUMMED you don't have a rep. This is absolutely an issue. Normally, when there isn't a rep The chairs and admin staff will work to make sure we follow these threads and keep you all up to date. I apologize for no "bump" thread on here. I did one on mine and I even let KJSR.net to promo it out to you guys. I totally should have let the Jello Shooters channel know as well but I am but one person. I do not mind at all helping out servers in need and making sure you guys have a voice. That is my duty no matter the server. We all are here for one another, help out each other with events across servers, etc. I have met with a few others and will make sure in the future to make sure you guys get focus too. Apologies.

THANK YOU! We actually initially had times posted in ALL times zones and had the schedule not as specific. I am glad you liked the way it turned out! Scheduling is definitely important!

We work very hard year after year (four years now) to make sure rules are explained out without getting too long and detailed, yet remain understandable. This year our details almost doubled and since many things changed we made sure they were included. Also of note is how MANY things were added because of a lot of feedback given last year. We definitely listen and are glad this is noticed!

You can thank EVERY rep across all servers for INF donations! Everyone met and we worked together to make it worthwhile! ALSO HUGE THANKS TO NCSOFT AND MOD08! They love YOU guys and wanted you to get some awesome prizes. MOD08 is amazing and is the best community rep we have ever had!

Since Reps are individuals we allow them to put their own twist on things and run the event how they feel most comfortable. In the past scripts have been given and this will be noted for the next one. Perhaps... we not have a script but maybe a guideline of things that MUST be on their script when hosting. I know I personally have binds and macros and it would be easy to copy and past a set of macros we could make so that the important things are clearly communicated on all servers. Great advise!

I cannot recall this part of the event but I was under the understanding the 8 semi-finalists were announced. I apologize if this was not clearly done... my memory is a tad vague on that part as we are judging and preparing to enter the arena. I do have to say I liked how we had ALL semi-finalists enter and take turns showing off their powers.

I know some are arguing an accidental fire and the one targeted was not the one who fired. In fact I remember that two of our judges got hit (tanks mind you) and almost died. This is our first time doing the arena and though the rules dictate the DQ we laughed it off and I actually think everyone found it funny. I know for a fact that every semi-finalist had ample time to show off their concepts and if there was an intrusion it did NOT count against them. Obviously the new addition needs to be practiced and observed and then next year we can continue adapting it for optimal execution!

I LOVE THIS STATEMENT. I want to remind everyone that when you target US as a group that it is unfair. Many of us are judges from other servers and as we all know, every server / community is different. For the most part many of us felt welcomed, greeted, and an enjoyable part of the event. I also don't prefer being called "one of them" or "those judges" or "those reps." We all are individuals! We think for ourselves, have different opinions, different tastes, different opinions, and different personalities. THIS IS EXACTLY why we have the rule that the home server reps cannot judge their own server. We do this so we have multiple outside views and tastes so that many different / un-bias people have to put all their preferences aside and find the best overall candidate.

WOW! This is actually something I hadn't heard of till now. It is an interesting conundrum. According to the schedule gathering started at 8:00 and judging at 8:20. Many are debating this. Last year the time was hours long. Yes we judged on the spot... but in all honesty I liked having the event have about twenty minutes. No judges were late though. I was one and we all were here on time. The time lapse of 20 minutes is to allow us time to broadcast in global channels so straggles and last minuters can hustle on over before judging starts. It is an interesting point though and appreciate the feedback. I know one thing we've talked about on Champion is just setting a simple event START TIME and leave it to the people to show up by then. Personally... I've done it both and some people are A) always late / never on time & B) something can come up. Having that 20 minute cushion has always served to give us ample time to setup, allow people to arrive, and allow for unexpectedness. Thoughts?
