Hello fellow Champions!!! I am excited to announce my radio debut on the increasingly popular internet radio station KJSR.net (YES!!! I am once again following in Nibs' footsteps!!!)! I am very excited to start hosting a radio show which is directed specifically to listeners who play City Of Heroes / Villains!!! The whole point of this year was to do mostly all events that were NOTHING like last year. Thus the reason a lot of the events from last year are not present. I know a lot of people are bummed the PVP and Scrapper stuff is gone .

It's great feedback however to hear you all loved a lot of stuff from last year! ! We had a lot of fun this year but for the sack of not going crazy and being tedious we decided to opt out of the same ole same ole and do some new events! We hope you will enjoy these just as much as last year!

His own personal image matters not, and in fact quite often he makes a mockery of his personal public self so that people pay less attention to him.

His real goal is to help clean up Gotham and regardless of how people perceive him, he does what needs to be done that others can't. Even when the public needs a scapegoat, he's willing to take that role because the good of the public comes before himself.

3)This is a character concept contest! This is not a behind the mask contest. Last time I checked we do not run around in real life in tights and armor saving the world with our super hero powers. And I do understand that we get to know the people we play with and we feel they are honorable and worthy of the honor. But we are not doing that type of contest.

4) If you still wish to enter a friends character into this event. Since we understand it is possible not everyone reads the blue boards and some people are not inclined to normally enter contests such as these. You are more than welcome to do so. BUT..... they must consent to you doing so. Esp factoring reason #2 stated previously.

WOW! I really didn't expect this type of overwhelming response to the contest. When Nibz and I created this contest (spending plenty of personal hours creating the web page, rules, graphics, etc), we did it just to have fun and to HONOR heroes on Champion. We know that MANY of you possess these qualities on your TOONS and thought that like many contests in the past that other SG's and PERC have hosted we see the same type of positive and enjoyable response to the contests. I guess I expected differently. Like many have said we multiply have to say how this is a CHARACTER CONCEPT contest not an ACTUAL PERSON contest. I have no doubt we all have tons of character traits that would make us a honorable hero but that is not what we are in search of. We are in search of a honorable hero in game. I hope that all those interested will please go re-read the first post and check out the web page and follow all of the rules. If you feel your CHARACTER is qualified then fill out the submission information and send it to Nibz and I via e-mail (please don't post them on this thread). I still have hopes that this contest can be enjoyable. I don't want to rant, I don't want to be disappointed, I just want to have fun and see the multitude of amazing heroes (characters) we have on this server in full glory!

It is with huge anticipation and excitement that the United Heroes Brigade is preparing to celebrate their fourth anniversary on the champion server. To celebrate, the UHB invites the public to participate in a wide variety of events lasting the entirety of their anniversary day, Saturday, August 8th, 2009. The events will range in size and scope including costume contests, trivia competitions, TF races, and even an amazing offline contest that any champion forum member can participate in. It will begin at 12:00pm EST at Atlas Park with a huge welcoming speech by Steel Brigade, UHB Guild Founder.

Because of the large size of the events throughout the day, the UHB has created a web page for the public to visit in order to get all the details on each individual event.
