I think you misunderstood. Most of the players in AOW do not play villains, on this server at least. (I for one never play vills). So you are correct that we do not have infamy to pay for an event redside. However, if it turns out that vills and heroes complete missions at the same pace, then villains may participate, but will have to accept influence blueside. That is why we are having a small event/test run this weekend which will determine if vills have an advantage over heroes or vice versa

If you don't like it, you don't have to participate. Don't complain about us giving away large sums of influence.....To any that still do not understand, we need to run a test to see if heroes and villains are equally matched. That is where the 16mil, now 64mil, comes in. It is a minor test run. Then, since this event is posted a tad too early, we are having a smaller event in october. Lastly, we have our grand prize event in december to celebrate the 2 year anniversary......WHF if you don't like how we are doing it, maybe you want to pitch in 8billion? I am sure we will take your opinions more seriously if you do something other than sit there and criticize how we do things.....(strikingly similar to Lord Stryker)

What do you think about tking the run speed enh (gift of the ancients) out of manuevers and putting in a lotg: 7.5 and taking out grant invis. Then, instead of grant invis put in frostwork or maybe charged armor

Whitehotflash, maybe you cannot comprehend this....we are having 3 events, got it? one is a test run to check if vills and heroes complete the mission at the same pace. the next event is a smaller version of the grand prize because the grand prize event is so far off. Last is the grand prize event for up to 1billion per person

You will need to ask felecia about the mixed teams...I know she wants everyone in the same SG so that may not work out but i suppose you could if you had divisions of the same group red/blueside....I do know however that the event will not be run into the ground. As far as my knowledge goes, we will have different missions for each event....Also, im pretty sure plenty of people will show up to possibly win 100million each or 1billion each

I am still not sure which build to go with though. On the one hand, dying is one of my pet peeves which is why i generally play melee guys. But, having awesome recharge on a cold/cold especially would be great. I am currently leaning towards the recharge and just working to not draw aggro. I am assuming this is hard to do though with sleet/ice storm?

Not sure i someone already addressed this because I didnt read every page of this thread...If you go up to a human NPC with a name starting with M they will tell you your time played on the toon (Example: Find an NPC named Matt and click on them). But i agree on the global time played.

Straykitten, we need test runs to work out some bugs. need a test run to determine if vills are able to win significantly faster than heroes for example....plus, this is for our sg anniversary so it would make sense to do it on the anniversary

Both builds look pretty good but I think you are right, the recharge build looks stronger. Hopefully I can keep ice storm/blizzard/sleet up near constantly

What I mean is that it bothers me when scrappers take the aggro and survive and then the tankers jumps in and takes aggro and then dies. I guess that is still better than the tanks that refuse to run in first though and wait for the controller to attack O.o

Depending on how much cash you want to sink in, you may want to switch to something like spines/wp. spine/wp is a lot cheaper, much better on end bar, and less squishy....only downside is you dont get the damage aura from dark armor. If you are intent on sticking with spine/dark though, I am sure you can find a pretty good build somewhere on the forums. it is pretty common so it shouldnt be too much trouble

Opening it to other servers would be interesting. If they were willing to accept the influence on champion server we could end up with hundreds of teams competing

I personally hae found that lvl 35-39 silver rolls work great.....I wouldnt go with golds though because with two chars at tix cap you are only getting 5 golds but you will get 33.33 silvers.....with that many silvers you are bound to get some good stuf....or you can go with a **** load of bronze rolls....definitely go with lvl 35-39 though

Squishy tankers....it's fine if you cant handle 8-man boss mobs or even lt mobs....but when a scrapper is taking aggro better than the tank? thats my biggest pet peeve

Basically I just made a cold/cold defender because i have seen some that really kick ***. I am bad with mids though so I am looking for a build that has good defense primarily to ranged/aoe. good recharge would also be nice.

Currently I have been playing my lvl 50 dark melee/invuln scrapper a lot. I would like to be able to solo pretty easily but still be useful in teams. Does anyone have a good guide for this? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
