Quote:They seem to attack your target, but yes making them like seekers would rock.I would really like this actually. I tried using my seekers to take the alpha strike for me, and I ended up having to dwarf TP PAST the group i'm trying to bomb. So that the seekers would follow me into a mob.
Does anyone know exactly how the seekers determine when to attack, proximity wise?
They could most likely be re-worked to function like the seeker drones. This would make the power more versatile. I could use it for a planned attack, or a mini-PBAoE attack. -
Quote:Then that leaves no room to argue about it and you know people here have to have something to argue over.I can honestly say I have never heard any phrase along the lines of "Oh man, X game is coming out, but my MMO is releasing a big update the SAME DAY, HOW WILL I CHOOSE?" Nowhere among any of my friends have ever been swayed one way or the other. They get their new game and download their new update. I don't really think it's an 'either or' choice for too many people.

Great guides no doubt. There are more than two ways to play a WS but those two ways work very well.

That was a fun and enjoyable video. Thanks for sharing.

Staff is ready and has been so on BETA for a bit. I hate that it is not already out.

IDK, but I am just happy that he was able to comment on some of the direct misinformation that had me contacting him in the first place. Clearly he wants to do the right thing at the base and because of that kind of concern I feel good about the future for Khelds.

Quote:There is no real reason to defend yourself mate. For some reason people have kind of lost perspective. I mean this was not in any way a brag type post, it was more like hey I can't believe I had this much fun doing this really fun thing in the game type deal and people still overreacted for sure. This is why I wish I could have had a video of this battle. Then everyone would see exactly what happened as I saw them. Then I would not be defending my actions in this manner.
Lastly, the group thanked me for bringing them aboard to participate and they thanked me for tanking. Especially the stalker who, by his own words, 'Oops, I booboo'd.' then laughed about it after he face planted.
Once again grats. -
YAY War Witch!
"Oh ok! Well if she's not dead, you tell her to come down here, come right up to me and kiss me on the...." -
Arbiter Hawk is a great guy. I have seen him in game a few times and he has given me permission to post this communication.

In the past I do recall Castle addressing this but it was specifically in reference to Solar Flare and no other powers were included. I was wondering if this is indeed a fact or some kind of misunderstanding?
In addition to that, there is an additional claim that the devs, you in particular feel that Knockback cuts down/lowers the power and effectiveness of the Peacbringer as an intended design flaw. I was wondering if this is indeed a fact or some kind of misunderstanding?
Thanks.Quote:Originally Posted by Arbiter HawkI get quoted out of context a fair bit, so that's not surprising. What I said/meant was that a.) changing KB to KD in PBAOE damage powers would increase potential AoE DPS and that b.) I had made enough fundamental changes to PBs in i21 that I didn't want to risk accidentally making them overpowered/farming machines/etc. by making that change then. I would say the likelihood of that change causing that would be fairly low, but then, if we took footstomp and made it KB instead of KD, Super Strength would go from being one of the most powerful melee attack sets to being one of the weakest - so, it's conceivable, especially in the context of enabling perma-light form in the same patch.
If I were to put bullet points on a board of "what Peacebringers should be", "limited in damage potential by knockback" would certainly not be on that board. That said, players are change-averse in general, so I wouldn't want to go through all the PB powers and change KB to KD or anything like that. For every player that would love it, there's another player out there that would quit playing their kheld in disgust.
It's a complex problem. I'm working on a more general solution for allowing people to tailor their knockback strength to their needs without making every power with knockback incredibly powerful mitigation. I also want to make sure that anything we do still allows players who like their knockback to use it without social repurcussions. If we were to add an option to the game to "eliminate all my knockback!", for instance, you'd get a lot of social pressure from the more min/max inf per second crowd to turn off your KB, even if it's what makes a character fun for you, and that's not a situation I'm keen to create.
It is also nice to see Khelds still on the radar for any additional possible improvements that make sense to them, but don't cater to the extremes that are out there. -
That is booty. They should get a fix going as they know how important badges especially vet badges are. This has to be higher than low priority c'mon man.

Yup still missing my vet badge that was due in November and yes I have filed multiple tickets in game and have been TOTALLY ignored. Brilliant!!!!

Quote:BUMMER! I will have to now track down some trojan...ARGH!We never include any popup ads, or even basic javascript functionality in the e-mails.
The most recent e-mail should look just like this, with no popups or non-COH ads.

If you're seeing any non-NCsoft advertising or popups when viewing our e-mail newsletters, it's highly likely due to a third party application. -
Cats like Archer wish they can have chicks like Lana. NOT!!!!

Quote:"If" you are actually interested in doing it yourself then there are posts in the AT sections where builds are listed so... you can if you so desire.Again: I *have* seen, but have not personally found it to be the case. Particularly sans IOs, temp powers, and stacks of inspirations.
I once watched a video where a FF Defender battled (but did not defeat) an AV for several minutes, whereas my experience as a FF Defender against AVs has been getting defeated within the first few seconds of combat regardless of how many purple inspirations I pop beforehand or if I have PFF up. As I recall, that was before IOs existed. My solo experiences with various AVs using sturdier ATs has been only slightly less abysmal. I find Scrappers, Brutes, and Stalkers to be too squishy and Tanks to reach barely acceptable levels of sturdiness on their own merits. -
Quote:Darth_Khasei /Energy Aura does indeed interest me. I am thinking of using Energy as the secondary for Staff when it comes out...but..I don't understand something...the Energy Cloak makes you transparent in order to sneak around, but it, Energy Cloak, is also the Taunt Aura??? How can you sneak about when your aura is screaming "Here I am" to the enemies?
Again, thanks everyone.
Lisa
Okies no worries.
The cloak as I understand it is a suppressed taunt aura while active. -
Incarnate trials have a lot of mapserver dump you back to pocket d bugs. They have not been fixed or even really addressed despite a ton of tickets sent...

Interesting suggestion especially since the new market has been going Paragon's e-mails have pop up ads. [Link Removed] ~Mod13
They may have beaten you to the punch. -
I have g-mail and for whatever reason everytime I get a e-mail from Paragon about the latest goods on the market I get ads popping up on g-mail.
It is REALLY annoying as these ads only pop up when opening e-mail from Paragon and the Paragon Market announcements. Is there a way to disable this kind of thing? This never happened before they started to sell the Supergamble Packs.... -
All of the things listed here need to be heeded by the devs. Making them character bound is expletive expletive expletive........expletive expletive ...expletive expletive expletive expletive!
