    Yeah.
    3. They withhold releasing things ready to be released for Tuesday market day.

That is what people are not pleased with the most it appears.
  2. So what are you saying, because I really cannot understand the point being made?

Yeah you know the drill. I want to love this set, I can't mechanically.
I mentioned you because someone was implying the reaction to BM was an overreaction. I was just pointing out that you have already broken the numbers down, which matched the in game lack of performance of the set overall.

Logic? Nah that would remove them from their comfortable place as fanbois, apologists and butt-kissers.
  5. I stated that the devs will eventually sell all set IO's in the market as we move closer to this I have some concerns. It appears that there is a difference with the procs that are bought with PP vs the in game crafted ones. That must be fixed to avoid the pay to win label.

Stop deluding yourself about a for profit company "caring about us people", that is a TOTAL waste of time.

You are better off not buying the offer and letting them know why, but don't think you have some kind of personal relationship with them.
  7. I only made it through the first episode and forgot about it until I saw this thread.

Well I guess its more like they should be exactly the same IDK maybe i'm just shortsighted would not be the first or last time for that.

I find it disturbing that some posters in this forum are willing to pay as much they do on virtual items with no real world worth.
I don't see you as the typical since you seem to express rational thought and reason vs impulse that most operate off of. Those folks are the target audience and they out number you and me BIGTIME.

I am not one of those players described by that company head, by the way, and I suspect that a good proportion of the player base doesn't "say one thing and do another" either, otherwise there would be no need for the super packs and an R.N.G. gambling system (in other words, a money sink).

I've been hanging around to see where this game has been going, but the pricing schemes and lack of substantial content is making it really hard to stay invested in City Of Heroes. This is a great game, but I fear it's been leaving an overall bad taste in my mouth these past months. Dark Astoria's great, but gating that behind a V.I.P. subscription was a very dubious move indeed.

Insofar, we've been seeing price hikes on certain items, notably vanity pets, and now we're seeing a buff pet being sold on the market at an exorbitant price. Again, I do not like where this trend has been going these past few months. Do any of you even remember what $10 used to get us before Freedom? We used to get a hell of a whole lot more stuff for that money, not just a travel power or a vanity pet. Marketing really is squeezing every last dime out of the dwindling player base to cash in before these servers go dark. This is an 8 year old game well past its heyday, how much longer do any of you think content can be churned out at its current rate before the game goes into maintenance mode?
Actually the S strom was proof of what I was saying since they sold quite a few of those OP monocles right off the bat. Don't get mad at the messenger here. Marketing guys have decades of human behavior to base things off of and that is why they WIN!

People in a large majority cannot help themselves. You may be able too predict doom in light of this while I predict increased profits for Paragon.

I'm not, and I never will. There are too many things that are more entertaining for me to spend my points on. If they cut the price in half on the enhancement trays, I might consider it.

Because there are things I'd spend 800 points on. There aren't many that would get me to exceed my monthly "allowance," but they're out there. The leprechaun ain't one of 'em, though.

I've given up trying to understand the pricing model, and guess my points will continue accruing until there are sales on some of the more recent costume sets, or they release a new round of super packs.
The pricing model is you'll pay what we want you to pay and like it now get off my lawn.

I realized they were not going to put the extra trays and storage items on sale when I bought them and found out just how useful the extra room can be.

    This is Paragon WINNING!

Please do that then. Reppu already broke it down in pretty good detail. I use actual leveling and in game seat time with the set to make my posts about it and mid 40's it is still anemic and needs the work Reppu outlined.

I don't get this part because they were/are working just fine in BETA and have for weeks now...Oh well.

The pros of our process is that the overall availability of the game is increased, the cons are that things sometimes take a bit longer to fix, so long as they're not making the servers go boom.
I did not say it had anything to do with resources. Different approach=Different Methodology, that's what I said.

I think there is just a difference in the approach taken by the other company and Z's post pretty much confirmed this fact. Cheers.

Even then you will NOT see those items going up for sale prices sorry. They are in fact the most valuable items on the market and they have ZERO incentive to discount them and never will.

Go ahead devs prove me wrong since some "special" dates are coming I dare you.
