You're right, Darth. There is no way they were making a mistake after playing all weekend. There is no way they were trying to encourage large-team play by making Reward Merits have some other value than fodder for Alignment Merits. There is no way they were trying to throw a bone to Rogues and Vigilantes.
Maybe it was a profit-hunting move. But saying "There is no way" it was anything else just makes you look unusually bad.

Allowing them to be bought like on BETA with AM's, EM's, HM's AND RM's throws EVERYONE a bone and screws nobody. The way they did it screws the AM, EM and HM savers. RM's come from Supergamble Packs in droves. -

Not sure of the raw numbers but I have it on ALL of my time toons. Yes, it goes off that much and is that good. Get use to the tesla cage hold animation.

If they miss your annual review date and do it two months later you bet the raise is retroactive.

I can't think of any reasonable explanation, but here is an unreasonable one. The people who are best able to take advantage of the current situation are those people who have a large number of Reward Merits. Conveniently, that happens to be the same people who spent a lot of real $$$ buying Super Packs recently, because you get a lot of Reward Merits with those. -

I am going to ask nicely to start.
Can we get a red letter to comment on why these are NOT being sold by the Ouro AM and EM vendors like on BETA. I have been saving my AM's and EM's for this purpose for more than a month and would like to know when those options are going live please.

While I have ZERO interest in playing the set after experiencing 46 levels of meh in BETA, I am more than sure that many will not only buy the set but will be pleased with it as well.

I started a Dark/Time Controller when I22 went live. At level 1 she had over 150 million inf, from sales of super pack IOs. She had a set of Controller ATOs ready to slot at level 10. She has turned Fearsome Stare into a very decent cone attack via store bought procs.
I'm not angry about this. Heck, my sub doesn't run out until summer 2013. But the devs crossed the line a while ago and it doesn't do anyone any good to pretend they didn't. -

As I said I am not against KD if they make the change to Solar Flare, but since I have been playing with it for years with it, nothing will really change for me if they make the change however unlikely that is.
I use Pulsar effectively all the time, then again I did before the change as well, but would not be against it being mag 3. Based on the cast time alone it could be argued it should be mag 3.
I guess my point is I see more style issues than actual issues of ineffectiveness as some claim here. As I stated up thread though I feel confident about the devs and their perspective about the AT and MUCH MUCH less so about those here, not all, that are making AT changing suggestions. -
