Count me as one of many who thought his *apology* was wrong and unprofessional. You may characterize what he said as "crazy nasty" but only because he was talking to you and people like you, who actively look for exploits and when found, use them constantly until they are fixed.
The crazy nasty part from Jack was the tone and unprofessional nature of the post. He may have and did have a point to make but how he made it is where he got in trouble. That is not in dispute since he was forced to make a public apology.

I'm not seeing it. If we are running an attack, we aren't doing other attacks. An actual buff is making attacks do more damage. It's not doing any more damage than we already do. It's not giving us more HP, or providing a team buff, or giving us more Def, or anything else like that. It's just another straight attack. Confront doesn't do jack right now because no scrapper actually takes and uses it.
I'm an empathetic person and try to see other sides, but we wouldn't be getting any buff. There is no buff to just giving us another tool of what we already do. There is no extra damage we would be doing.
If scrappers ever took confront and used it, then you might have a point. That would be a break in our damage chain. But since we don't, and we already have enough attacks to fill chains, then providing just another attack doesn't give us anything more than we already have. But we'd have another choice at least. -

I wasn't proposing any kind of buff. Just a new power choice for one that we shouldn't even have. A buff is making what we do now better. Replacing something that we share with other ATs isn't a buff.
In fact, replacing Confront (which is Taunt) with another medium melee attack doesn't change the AT any more except make us have a primary with absolutely zero frills, just straight attacking. That would fit us pretty well and make us fairly unique. -
So you "are" suggesting that people hold off using "any" power that is really good in a set as soon as it recharges like Footstomp group KD, Eagle's Claw/Cobra Strike Perma Stun, Seeds group confuse, Flashfire group stun and Drain Psyche -regen because its too good?
I guess I am saying every set has go to powers that allow you to kill the enemy efficiently which is WAI. You can perma flip Bosses with Air superiority what makes DP so special it needs a nerf.
I don't think it makes any sense not to use whatever powers you can as soon as they recharge to kill the enemy modern gaming slang aside. -

I believe you are confusing recharge reduction with endurance reduction. End reduction put intio a pet power reduces the cost of summoning the pet and the end cost of the pet's powers. Using sets though will only affect certain powers within a pet (slow sets will only affect powers that cause slow the pet has), but it still reduces the end cost of some of the powers.

Right. And that is why you're against Drain Psyche being nerfed. This is what I wanted to expose. The problem is; Drain Psyche is an outlier power, and if we want global performance buffs on Blasters to bring them in line with the other AT's, Outliers WILL need to be addressed, or else we fall into a situation where everything performs well, and then something just breaks the game.
